Needs breaking-in - I have wide feet and consequently, sometimes my feet feel cramped in a shoe. Some shoes will feel comfortable immediately while others need to be broken-in. These are the latter type. I've worn them about 4 times and I believe they are getting stretched in the right places to provide more comfort.

Delivery was fast - Delivery was so fast! I ordered at 11:00PM and they came around 12:00PM the next day!

The New Air Force 1!!! I believe this shoe should take over Nike's Air Force 1. The style, colorways available, price, comfort... This is the new standard!!!

Great shoe - Very comfortable and stylish for the value. I love them because I can get away with them for casual day at the office or for ultimate Frisbee that night.

These are great shoes - These New Balance sneakers seem well made, and are nice and light. They have decent arch support (important to me). Also, they are nice looking.

Great New Balance Shoe - The shoe was very comfortable and broke in very quickly considering I wore it to Disneyland for the first time. Also very good for walking to work as well. Highly recommended shoe!

A great fit for a wide foot and awesome retro style - I have very wide feet - I usually have to buy 4E shoes just to get them to fit correctly - but these shoes fit great in a 2E, which is the widest size available. It is the first shoe I've had in a long time that has fit me correctly, which I love them for. Other than the great sizing, I also love the retro styling. They look like old track shoes - like some old Nikes that Prefontaine might've worn - although I find the bottom piece to be a little thick - just nitpicking. I really love these shoes!

Excellent Shoe - This is a great looking shoe. It's also light and comfortable to wear around. I haven't had it long enough to see how durable it is, but so far I've run into no problems concerning durability. The only negative thing about this shoe is that everyone has a pair!

These are good overall shoes. Nice for casual running. Not the best shoes ever but they're good shoes.

First of all I am a big fan of new balance classics, They are comfortable, nice looking and they are perfect with jeans. The M 574- suede& Mesh shares all those qualities, and has that slick and different look I was looking for recently.

Shoes for diabetics - I have had Type I diabetes for 36 years, so shoes are a major concern for me. I find that the SL-2 last of the New Balance 574 provides the best fit and most comfort of any shoe I have tried. I have worn them since they first came out, and now they are getting hard to find. Money is not an object; I would easily pay twice the Zappos price for shoes that work this well. I am a teacher and a football and basketball coach, so I am on my feet for long periods of time.

New Balance-M574 Running Shoe - This ended up being a nice (inexpensive) entry style running shoe, which was what I needed. I use it for moderate running/walking. I use it about 3 times a week and it has proved to be well worth the money so far. It is comfortable, ran true to size. I would not purchase this model for much more than moderate running use as it doesn't have all the 'bells and whistles' of top running shoes, but for my purpose it is great. This is the third pair of New Balance running type shoes that I have purchased and I can honestly say that I have never had a problem with any of their shoes so far.

Great Shoe - This shoe is excellent. I feel a new bounce in my step that I haven't felt since I was a kid! When I put these shoes on in the morning, I feel like I can do anything, conquer any task. Even with two prosthetic legs, these shoes feel amazing!

NB and Zappo's - Both Best of Breed! Many online stores sell these but Zappos had the best selection and of course their excellent policy of No Shipping Costs or Return Costs! And they were delivered in 2 days. The shoes are great - this is the best color combo IMHO - dark gray with orange trim. Good for running but I bought these for casual wearing. I started wearing NB shoes 25 years ago as a high school cross country runner and they've never let me down - just like Zappo's!

NB M574 - I really like the shoe. I love the look. It seems as if I wear them for a long time- they become a bit uncomfortable. I'm not sure if it's the shoe or the fact that I tend to walk on the outside of my feet some. I do like the shoe- and would buy them again if I have the chance.

the best sneaker ever - The new balance classic 574 are the best sneakers ever to be made. I love them so much I own close to 30 pairs of them in different colors.

Love 'em! Very nice shoe, which I never saw in the stores. Excellent service and delivery, although it seemed to run small. I had to return the first pair for a half size larger.

m574 - Very comforable, almost no break-in period. Very light weight. With a "EEE" foot, New Balance is the only choice for me. The variety of color combinations in this model was overwhelming.

These shoes were meant for walking - I received these shoes and walked all over Tokyo in them the next day and my feet felt great all day. Not very often you find shoes you can do that in. Not a single blister like most new shoes would give you if you walked a lot in them. These are great shoes. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a casual shoe that has a great retro look.
