I used to wear the New Balance 574 when I ran many years ago, this shoe is fantastic, and Zappos has such a wide choice of colors it is tempting to buy more than one pair. I ordered a size 12 on a Wednesday, the shoes arrived the following Monday and I felt they were just a bit too small, returned them (free) and ordered another pair (free shipping) size 13, and they feel great. wonderful accent to jeans, khakis or to work out. Great shoes, great service. I am a Zappos fan.

I wasn't sure what to expect, as I haven't owned New Balance in a long time. However, these are the most comfortable shoes I currently own. I've even taken to wearing them to work on days where I am not meeting with clients! They look great too!

Good shoes. But please pay attention to the width (D, E,or 2E). At first, I bought one 8.5D, (I usually have 8.5). But the corresponding France Shoe # is only 40.5, which is much smaller than my feet (42 in France#). So I have to return it and bought the 8.5 2E, which is the right one.

Really like these shoes. I'm a jeans and T-shirt guy, and they go great with that. Very comfortable. I like the mesh material on these especially as opposed to the sweat pant material on the toe and sides.

I've had at least 4 or 5 variations on the 574. It is probably my favorite shoe of all time. Very comfortable for casual wear and come in such a nice variety of color.

Great shoe -- really comfortable and stylish. Color 'pops,' and looks as advertised. Only con: the tread gets super slippery, when wet.

We always have a difficult time finding sneaks that fit my 11 year old son's extra wide feet (that are also "in"). These fit the bill nicely and are wearing well.

I have medium-high arches and just retired a pair of 993s. This shoe fits almost as comfortably as the 993s, which is significant because these are a lot less expensive. Very grippy hiking-boot-style sole is great for general wear but probably not great for running.

For the first week of wearing them feels like your walking on springs! Amazing, best shoes I've ever owned.

These shoes are comfortable and good looking. They're great for walking, especially at night with the reflective 'N' and 'New Balance' logos.

Very light-weight. Very comfortable. I was actually looking for a pair of trail runners, but these shoes caught my eye. They probably aren't the shoe for a 4-mile run, but they're very comfortable for 4-mile walks. If you're looking for non-fluorescent shoes for walking, these are good.

Very comfortable and lightweight. True to size compared to my other pairs of NB. I'm on my feet all day and these are great, plus the colors rock.

These look great with jeans, and I've owned 4 different colors since 2005. Keep making them NB! I'll keep buying them!

I am absolutely delighted with the fit and comfort of the New Balance M574. Most other shoes have rather pointed toes but these are more squared off and allow room for all of my toes. This is my first pair of these and if they continue to make them, I will be regular customer.

I love these sneaks! They are comfortable, have excellent support, and look great with jeans or in shorts. Zappos was patient with me, as I returned several other models before finding these. I surely hope New Balance keeps producing these because I'll be ordering more down the road.

Have had my M574s for a week now and I have to say that they are the most comfortable shoes that I have ever had. I am thinking about ordering a second pair in a different color already. Thank you Zappos for your great service too.

I love this shoe! You can use it for everything and New Balance makes so many colors you can buy multiple pairs for different outfits. They are very durable and comfortable. Great support. My feet always look forward to putting these shoes on.

This shoe is unbelievable. I have been a Nike guy for nearly 15 years so I was a bit skeptical about getting a new balance. I usually spend a lot for Nikes and I felt like that was the norm. Needless to say, I didn't expect much from the NBC M574. Wow, was I wrong! I put this pair on and walked around the house for 3o minutes. I was having a toe-gasm with every step. I didn't want to take them off. I am on my feet for 8-10 hours a day in a high paced work environment and this is going to be my go-to shoe for years to come. The fit is perfect(2E) and the support is just right. Thank you Zappos and thank you NB. So long Nike.

Purchased this sneaker for my son and he absolutely loves it. He wears them for walking; the fit is great. Zappos has the best return policy. I am a big fan of Zappos, keep up the good customer service.
