I am a RN on a busy ICU - 12 hour shifts plagued with high arches this is a super comfortable sneaker. Very cushy and breathes well. This shoe is made in China however. Probably going to order another pair in another color just for fun.

New Balance may have changed the M574 fit. My old 2EE (wide) pair fit great, but Zappos no longer offers the M574 in 2EE, so I ordered D (med). Expecting them to be too tight, I also ordered a pair of ML525 in 2EE. To my great surprise, the D M574 felt wider than the 2EE ML535. I kept the M574 and am very happy with them. The shiny heel plastic that looks terrible on my brown M574's is not noticeable on my new gray shoes. That's good.

I bought these sneakers for my boyfriend and he absolutely loves them! I purchased the gray/navy/red ones and they are really sharp looking. I would suggest getting at least a half size to a full size bigger than what you normally wear because these tend to run a little small. We had to return the first pair and reorder the next size up. Thankfully Zappos has the free shipping and returns. Plus you can't beat the price for these shoes...great deal!

Great comfortable shoe! I am a nurse and wear them in the hospital. They work wonderfully for my 12 hour shifts on my feet and my busy floor.

I have always purchased shoes in a size 12, so it was to my surprise that the shoes I received were about a size too small. Outside of being too short, they have very good shock absorption, and the online photo doesn't show just how shiny the plastic areas are.

These are beautiful and extremely comfortable shoes. They seem slightly greener (olive green) than some of the photos show. The color-matched laces and the giant reflective N give them a distinctive look, and they\'re all I wear to the office now. I want to get the blue ones in a few months. I normally wear 11.5 in most NB running shoes, so I ordered the 11.5. Had to exchange them for 12s.

If you are looking at New Balance sneakers you know or have heard how great these shoes are. They are more than comfortable, really cool, and made in the USA (most of them anyway). They are decently priced and always a bargain for your money. Look no further than New Balance.

I was a bit disappointed. The shoe did not look like the photo. The actual shoes had shiny plastic on them that did not show up in picture. The fit was fine, but the shoes were ugly.

I really like the style of the m574, this is my 2nd pair. The fit is a bit snug and the sole is a bit high. I wear them with really thin ankle socks. I\'m comparing them to the m373 which is similar but isn\'t as high and doesn\'t fit as snug. I\'ve only worn the m574 about 5 times, even with the snug fit it\'s still very comfortable. I use them for walking.

Super comfortable, super cool shoes. I normally wear 9 but had to order 10 for this style to fit. No problem with Zappos exchange program, I had the second pair the next day. I have received several compliments on these shoes and they feel like I am walking on a cloud.

Zappos.com has far exceeded my expectations in product quality and customer service. This has been the third pair of the same or similar style shoe I have ordered from them in about 2 years (I keep loosing them!). On two out of the three orders they have upgraded my shipping, at no cost to me, to next day delivery. These shoes are stylish, but I can\'t say much else for them. There is essentially zero support and the cushioning leaves much to be desired. I\'ll be surprised if I use these longer than 6 months, and that\'s just so I don\'t feel like I threw money away.

I had been looking for this shoe in stores, but it seems nobody had it in stock. I bought it online, in my shoe size and found it to run about a half size small. I wear orthotics so I remove the stock liners, but these shoes give decent arch support for a casual walking shoe. I do not plan on running in them or using them to workout, so I am not too worried about the support while walking around town. When they arrived, they had a couple of discolored spots on the right toe of the shoe-like somebody had spilled coffee on them, but other than that they look great. I am happy I bought them and will get another pair when these wear out.

I bought these as a gift for my husband and needless to say he absolutely loved the shoes. He wasted no time in putting them on. We also had bought other shoes from Zappos and had an issue with the size. We simply called Zappos up and the exchanged shoes were here before the other ones even got to them. I love Zappos! This is a very comfortable shoe, especially the roomy toe box. I got the gray ones and they look pretty good with jeans. They are not flashy at all. I'm very happy with the purchase and I highly recommended.

I bought these already broken in at a used shoe store almost 9 years ago. They're still in perfect shape except for a greenish tint from mowing the lawn in them. I've even worked landscaping in them a few times. They have to be the most durable running shoes on the planet. They're also the most comfortable shoes I own. The gray goes with anything. I'll buy another pair from Zappos when funds allow.

These were my first pair of 574's in several years, and while still a great shoe, I'm disappointed that they seem to offer less cushioning then they once did. The fit seems as wonderful as always, but unlike my latest pair, the older ones felt like you were walking on air when you first put them on. These are more stiff, which seems pretty typical for less expensive shoes today, even though I paid more than I ever have for a pair of 574s. Overall, it's still a great shoe, but it doesn't seem to exhibit the high standards for comfort that it once did. I'm sure that I'll be satisfied with them, nonetheless, but less cushioning means that I'll probably look around before buying another pair. I also want to add that I've been a happy New Balance customer for 20 years, but the last few pairs have not held up to the high expectations I have for the brand. My favorite shoes of late have all been other brands, which makes me think that New Balance isn't the same shoe it once was.
