I've loved my M574 sneakers for years, and these fit exactly the same as my old ones. I'm an Atlanta Braves fan and I chose this color because I thought it nailed the palette perfectly. One note on these is that for New Balances in general, I find myself ordering a lot bigger size than for other brands. I'm a 12 in these, and a 10.5 most of the time.

Soft, great support, excellent for a whole day walk, I love the retro style. I would recommend to go half size up if you have wide feet (I went from 10.5 to 11 with perfect fit).

Followed everyone's advice and got a half size larger. So glad I did. These are great run around shoes. Glad I got them.

Comfortable fit, typical New Balance quality at a bargain price. Be prepared for the bright, shiny vinyl trim on the uppers and heel, however. The all black shoes are much flashier than they appear to be online.

These shoes are great - comfortable, durable, and they look good. The only minor drawback is that the tread on the bottom is not super big, so if you are using them for hiking or running it might not last as long as another shoe. I'm using them for hiking and traveling, and so far they've held up great.

Very pleased with the shoes...they are really comfortable and look great. Color is true to picture. I normally wear 11.5 and got that size and they fit well; I had been concerned they might run small. It felt a little narrow up front but after wearing it for just a couple minutes it felt just fine.

Great and sturdy shoes! I purchased the navy ones, but they look almost black. It's all good with me though!

Delivery: Expedient and professional. More of a nod to UPS, but Zappos did their part in getting it out of the warehouse quickly. Product: As defined and size matches. Subjective: I think New Balance makes great shoes. Fit snugly and made of what seem to be quality materials. Made in the USA is a bonus.

I bought these sneakers for my husband for Christmas. He loves New Balance and swears how comfortable they are. You will not be disappointed!

I bought these sneakers as a gift and overall they are great sneakers but definitely run small. I would defiitely advise to order 1-1 1/2 sizes larger than regular street shoe size and if your foot is the slightest bit wide, than definitely order either a wide or go for the 1 1/2 sizes bigger. These sneakers do not run the same size as other New Balance sneakers. Otherwise they are a great pair of looking sneakers!

Great sneakers! I choose New Balance because of their excellent arch support and overall comfort. My pick were the gray/black/blue shoes; they work well with jeans and can be matched up with almost any shirt.

These are very comfortable, classic looking shoes . I don't use them for running, but my everyday tennis shoe. The couple of times I have jogged up the street to get somewhere fast, I was amazed at the cushion/bounce in the heel. I can see why they are so popular for running. This is my first pair of 574s, I usually buy the 900 series, but wanted to try a less expensive option. They were a little tight at first, but have since stretched out to be an almost perfect fit. I am a 10½ regularly - next time I will buy an 11. Overall, great shoe, great price point. Zappos' service is wonderful.

Got these as a gift for my brother. They are his first pair of New Balance. He won't shut up about them. They are, by far, the best made sneakers and always at a great price.

Truly a great classic. Fit is true, they handle my orthotics and I can spend hours on my feet working in my shop.

I love the style of these shoes. I've worn Chuck's for a long time but recently bought these as an everyday shoe. Much better support for my feet. The white parts show dirt pretty quickly, but that's how an everyday shoe is supposed to look! I really can't think of anything wrong with this shoe.

This was a gift to a friend. But he loved them. The minute he put them on he said they were very comfortable. Very true to size.

The NB Classics M574 shoes are soft, cushiony and will envelop your entire foot. After putting them on for the first time, I immediately felt the support and sturdiness. My previous shoes were Onitsuka Tiger by Asics (Ultimate 81 style). The Tigers were really light and sleek (but not as sturdy); the NB Classics are boxy and bulky in comparison. But after a few days of wearing the NB Classics, the boxy and bulky feeling disappeared. I bought the Grey/Black style. The blue isn't as bright/light as the image shows, but it still adds enough pop to the otherwise subdued color palette. The side Ns and heel are reflective - good if you're out walking or running at night. I also looked into the NB Classics M373, but the M574 had better reviews. I'm very happy with my shoes and my Zappos experience - ordering was simple and the shoes arrived in two days.

These are great casual sneakers. They are comfy as well as stylish. They work jeans or shorts. I even wear them to the office occasionally. They seem well made and expect to have them for a few years. If you are looking for a casual around town sneaker that is still comfortable to walk in I would definitely recommend these.

They were at least a 1/2 size too small, both length and width. Also, the color was not what I expected from the web site, and I have an expensive calibrated display.

Purchased to give as a gift and had to go up a half size for proper fit. Gift recipient said the New Balance Classics M574s felt somewhat narrow and tight. Style remains classic New Balance.

When it comes to tennis shoes, I pretty much will only wear New Balance. As far as buying them goes, I only go to Zappos. You can't beat having no lines and free shipping. Great shoes and even better customer service.
