Nice but look wide. Great shoes. I get many compliments, but they make my foot look wide.

Love it! I have the blue shoes and am just ordering a pair of the tan suede shoes. I love them! My only complaint is the tongue keeps slipping to one side, no matter how often I move it back. Otherwise, these are fun little shoes and I don't see them on everyone else.

Buy for looks - I basically bought this shoe for its look, which is cool and sporty. It is not an athletic shoe; it feels kind of like one of those flat, non-cushioned old fashioned sneakers. They arrived three days after I placed the order!

I'm loving this shoe. I don't usually like tennis shoes because I feel too sloppy in them, but these are comfy, stylish yet not trendy and put together in a way that makes them perfect for casual but not I-just-rolled-outta-bed outfits. I live in rainy Seattle and the suede seems to be getting along fine with our lovely weather here. Way to go with these shoes!

Simply Fun - Love this shoe. Looks cool, feels like a basic tennis shoe; not the greatest support, but comfortable enough for walking around for a couple of hours. Love it with jeans, jean skirts and leggings. I have it in Sand and am going to get it in Blue too!

I bought this shoe to avoid wearing white sneakers while walking to work. The shoes are just as comfortable as sneakers, but a lot more hip-looking and stylish. They look as good with a pair of jeans as they do with a pair of work slacks. They are very roomy and I like to wear a pair of socks to fill in the width. An excellent purchase! Great Looking Shoe - I liked the look of the shoe, but they make me feel a little flat-footed when wearing them. There doesn't seem to be a lot of arch support. Other than that this is a great shoe.

Even cuter than they looked on screen - I wear a size 10 and I don't like shoes that emphasize the length of my feet. These are great because the style makes my feet appear smaller. I'm also a stickler for comfy, practical shoes. These seem a tad snug now, but I just got them today and as much as I walk I'm sure they will break-in. I love the way they look - really cute shoes!

They are very comfortable and I love the style. The only thing I don't like is that my feet sweat in them.

Cute shoe - I just got this shoe as a Christmas gift, and I can't stop wearing them. I really do love them. Something to note: they are suede, so you either need to put a protective spray on them, or don't get them wet. They are a little wide, but still cute. I got them in red, and they are great. Everyone I know has noticed them and complimented them.

Simple Sugar - Comfortable and versatile...only wish the blue was more the color of faded blue jeans...

Toe box a little pointy - The picture shows the toe box as if it were nice and round but in actuality the shoe is a little more pointed than the picture. I'm very happy with the shoe however, and they are very nice looking with the exception of the pointy toe box.

Great Shoe - I've always been a Simple wearer. This shoe just makes me want to wear more!

Flexibility & Style - Purchased the tan plaid version of this shoe. Very cute shoe. If looks aren't enough, this is one highly flexible and comfortable shoe. Roomy toe box, with padded indented heel cup and arch support. Lace up styling provides a supportive and unrestrictive fit. These shoes have style & substance. Thank you Zappos!

Cute, not comfy. I loved the look, but there was no where near the cushioning I have in my old Simples. And, the fit did not accommodate flat feet comfortably. I had to return them.

Cute but OH SO UNCOMFORTABLE - Unfortunately at age 49-I think I need more padding than these shoes give-the minute I put them on my feet hurt-they're very hard-I wore them for 2 days but couldn't bear to put them on after that!!

I have had Simple shoes before and loved them! The original pair that I owned lasted 7 good years and looked great. That is why I purchased a new pair. However, while the look was still the same, they hurt my feet. After just a few hours, I couldn't wear these anymore because I had huge blisters. The material (which was once really soft and forgiving) was really rough – even though I had on socks! The fit was great. Just not too happy with whatever material they are now using.

Sugars used to be so much better - I had this same style of shoe back in 99 in navy. Simple, I don't know what you guys did, but this shoe is not nearly as good. Looks the same, but the comfort is severely reduced. The shock absorption is pretty much gone. The materials don't seem as nice. And the toe is a little narrower and my "bigger foot" gets squished. I think they seem a bit smaller than a typical 5.5 size. I'm hoping they will stretch out a little. But I'm pretty disappointed in the quality. Don't know why they changed. Cost reduction, I'm sure. But sad day.

Cute shoes, not durable - These shoes are so cute. I got mine in burgundy. They are just lovely. The support is not great and they won't last for long. They started tearing after four months of use. That was a bit disappointing.

Cute but not comfortable - Love the look, but just aren't comfortable. The tongue of the shoe pinches.

My third pair of Simple Sugars - These are great-looking and comfortable as the shoe allows for the foot to be totally spread out. There are no pressure points to cause pain. I wore these all over London last year when every other pair of shoes failed to deliver comfort. In other words on day 3 of my trip, I put the Sugars on and my feet said "THANK YOU." The shoe is cute and doesn't look like a clunky gym shoe. And while these are sensible, when my teenage daughter saw them she didn't say "They are cute for you Mom" which if you are middle-age, you get her meaning. In fact she asked to borrow them once--a sure sign that they are cute. My only wish is that the shoe had better arch support and that the sole were thicker to absorb shock. On cobblestone streets this would be welcome. On my next trip I am adding an arch support to the shoe for extra support. Because of the lace-up feature, there is some "give" to allow for thicker socks on days when you need them. These will always be in my carry on bag or backpack, in case I need them. My advice is to order two pairs-one your size and the other one size larger, and try each on with your socks and/or arch insert to determine the best size. Zappos is great since they pay for shipping both ways.

Super Cute - but not very comfortable - I love the look of these shoes, but I wish they were more comfortable. The backs are very stiff and dig into my heels. If they were more comfortable, these would easily be my favorites.

Disappointed - I have always loved Simple shoes for comfort. Now I am beginning to look for support also and this shoe just did not provide that. When I stood up the top of the shoe just widened out as if it was supposed to do that. I returned these. I probably will not buy more Simple.
