Nice - I purchased these shoes for my wife a few weeks ago. I wasn't sure of her size, so I looked through her shoe rack and noted all of the sizes. They fit her perfect and she says they are very comfortable...Zappos rules.

LOVE MY BIRKIES - Gizeh has always been my favorite Birk, my last pair I bought 12 years ago and it was time to say goodbye I replaced them with the Soft Gloss Bordeaux and I love them they're much richer in color than what you see in the picture, I ordered them in half a size smaller and narrow because they do run bigger, comfortable as always and great style.

Love these shoes - Birkenstock never lets me down. These shoes are so comfortable and look great on. They need one wearing to get broken in between the toe, but after just one wearing, they feel like old favorites. I'm going to buy more colors.

I Love These SHoes - They take a little breaking in, I had a blister on my foot for a day when I walked in them a lot. But now they mold right to my foot and I love wearing them. They look great.

Help for the thong newbies! I love birkenstock and wear gizehs almost exclusively. I have two pair one of which is five years old. They do actually take a bit to break in. I have worn thong sandals all my life and the plastic part on these babies still made my toes hurt at first! I would recommend wearing them around the house and on short trips for a couple weeks. If that doesn't help try bending the shoe a bit at the toe, this takes some of the pressure off the toe piece. It sounds like alot but once you and your birkies get acquainted they are truly an awesome shoe! Also in terms of size Birks are true to fit...in euro sizes. For the USA folks that means order about 1 to 1.5 sizes down. That should work.

Three cheers for Gizeh - These birkenstock sandals are truly comfortable and comform to my feet within a few days. I use my birkenstocks during my daily four to six mile walk...These have done wonders for my lower back, knees and instep...I can't praise these enough. I highly recommend these Birkenstocks...

Excellent shoe, Lovely very comfortable. Although I wear an American 8 1/2 and ordered a 38, I should have ordered a 37--they seem to run big.

Great shoe! Very comfortable, and I love how stylish it is! It tends to run a little large though, so I had to buy it a size smaller than I usually wear.

Ugly but awesome! I always swore I'd never wear Birkenstocks, but this is the most amazing shoe ever! I walked 7 miles home from Manhattan to Brooklyn during the blackout and not a single blister!

I love Birkenstocks - I have 8 pairs of Birkenstocks, but this is the best one. I bought this shoe about 8 or 9 years ago and still have the same pair. They are my favorite shoes. I would buy another pair, but it takes so long to break Birkenstocks in!

Best Shoe on the Market! I have at least a dozen pairs of Birkenstock's Gizeh shoes. I wear them day and night and find them the most comfortable shoes I've ever owned. The style works for both casual and dressy. Excellent support when standing many hours. My only complaint is I'm told this style is no longer being made in the narrow width. Please, please re-consider this decision. I've only bought one pair this winter which was the only one available in the narrow width. Many of my friends are now wearing Gizeh too, due to my continual praise of this style. Your Maui Birkenstock Stores are just superb! We spend our winters here annually. First admired them a few years ago on a lady who highly recommended them due to the comfort. She said she owned 35 pairs, I thought she was crazy then, but I'd be the same if they continued to make them in the narrow width!

Other colors. This is a great shoe. However I wish it would come in other colors. Maybe gold!

Birkenstock Gizeh - I usually wear size 8 wide, so I ordered size 39 normal for these shoes. The width barely just fits, but it was too long. Size 38 is a better fit, though I wish there was a middle between the two lengths. I did not feel any toe separator pain that others seem to have.

Bringing back the Birk! Look, I'm not what you would call a typical Birkenstock gal but these were too cute to pass up. After searching for a good summer sandal with decent arch support these won out by far: no extended "break-in" period, no hurt toe and I get tons of compliments. I trek the city in these bad boys and they haven't let me down!

Birkenstock sandal - The shoe is good looking and comfortable. A great summer find!

Comfortable and cute - I'm not normally a Birkenstock wearer, but these are cute and give my feet a break from heels. I ordered a 36 normal since my feet are on the wide side. Zappos mistakenly sent me a 36 narrow, which actually turned out to be a blessing since the "normal" probably would've been too wide. The only thing is that they're a bit too long. I could've gone down to a size 35, but alas, Zappos doesn't have it in black. I'm normally a size 6 in most shoes. An otherwise fantastic casual sandal.

Gizeh review - I have problems getting used to the thong between my toes. It is not smooth enough and cuts me so that I have had to put doeskin tape around it and I am still having trouble and can't wear them for too long. I would look into making the thong or whatever you call it softer. The bottom of the shoes is great. I have other Birkenstocks and I know it takes a while to break them in.

Summer Sandal - This sandal was somewhat smaller than usually buy but I'd bought Birkenstocks before and knew to get a smaller size than I wear in other shoes. It takes some breaking in time, but again, I'm used to the feel of Birkenstocks so that didn't bother me. On this particular sandal I didn't like the style as much as I expected I would. The rounded part of the leather just above my toes appeared bigger than I expected and looks too big for some reason. I don't know why they made it that big.

Cute and comfy - These shoes are both cute and comfy. I'm not a normal Birkenstock girl so it takes a minute to get used to all the support these shoes offer.

Love em' This is my 3rd pair of birk's. I love em. It takes a little getting use to the foot bed from wearing Danskos for about 2 years now, but I love them. They are so lightweight and cute. I wear longer skirts to work and they look great. The leather styled ones are my favorite.

I've been converted - These were my first Birks every, and I don't know how I'll ever wear anything else. The break in for these took almost two weeks, and was pretty painful, but now they fit like a dream. I have extremely flat feet, and these are the only shoes I've owned that don't hurt. I can't wait to try other styles of shoes and sandals. I only wish they weren't so hippy granola.

Birkenstock - Gizeh Taupe Suede - I normally wear a size 6 and purchased a size 37 narrow and they fit perfectly. They look great with jeans. I get compliments on them all the time.
