Awesome! These boots are awesome! They are so comfortable and durable. I can't wait to get the pair in black.

Doc Martens - These boots are true to size, very comfortable and durable.

My husband had always worn Justin, Wranger and Red Wing Boots and was never satisfied with them. I talked him into buying a pair of Dr. Marten boots and he loves them. Now he wouldn't wear any other boots.

Dr. Martens - These boots fit perfectly and are very comfortable. Roomy and nice.

I bought these for my husband who is a lineman and they are the only boots that have lasted him over a year. In the past he's had problems with his feet because of the poor boots he's worn, since he's been wearing these he's been free from all that. He loves them! They are worth every penny we are very happy with them and very happy with how quickly they were delivered to our house.

Great!!!! These shoes are comfortable, good looking, and make work much more bearable and no blisters!!!!

Hate the pads - I love this boot, so comfy, but I hate the look of the side pads, would definitely buy another pair if I could get them padless

2 soon 2 tell - Wearing these for the first time today, feel tighter than size marked but I'll give 'em a couple weeks to break in. Already starting to get more comfortable just after a few hours. Look like they should be a good tough boot once broken in. Plenty of padding throughout & especially around the ankle, wish I'd had these on when I slammed my ankle a few weeks ago with a sledge hammer while driving a concrete stake. I'll try to write a follow up review in a few weeks.

Just as advertised - 5 stars for the boots and 5 stars for Zappos. I ordered Sunday night and got it Tuesday in New York City just like I was told I would. What is surprising about the boots is how comfortable they are, not too stiff. I ordered a size UK7 and my US size is 8 1/2 and they fit perfectly, like I have been wearing them for years! I got these for motorcycle riding and I feel confident that my toes and ankles will be well protected.

I've only had these boots for two weeks now, but so far I love them! they have been very comfotable since day one,and they look great. this is my 5th pair of Docs, and if these hold up as well as the others I will definitely buy another pair. I'll also make sure to get them from Zappos because it only took one day to get my boots!! I'm a zappos customer for life.

PERFECT FIT. VERY COMFORTABLE FROM DAY ONE - These boots are "the BOMB". A Perfect fit, and comfortable from the first day. Why didn't buy these boots before? I was looking for something with the steel toes, and I found the best boots I've ever had. I even wear them on my days off. Worth every penny I paid for them. And Zappos sent them to me pretty fast too. It only took 2 days, from the day I ordered them, but UPS screwed up, and I had to go pick them up at the UPS warehouse. I will buy another pair just like them.

Welders delight - This boot was for my husband who is a welder. Most steel toed boots with laces burn up. So he needed a slip on. He loved the boot but thought the sole was too soft and did melt some what. He did comment that he wished that Doc Martens made more slip-ons to choose from.

Best work boot I've worn - and I've been working for 35 years. Just ordered a pair for my son for his birthday, can't keep him from borrowing mine. This boot is supremely comfortable, and the ankle padding is not only thick and functional but adds a heavy look to the boot without really being heavy. The boot fits about 1/2 to 1 size larger than advertised: I wear a 9 1/2 or 10 and the US size 9 fit me snugly and comfortably. Buy snug in a slip on boot because the absence of laces can make stretching a problem. The only drawback to the boot is that the finish scratches and shreds fairly easily, so if you want it to double as an everyday boot you'll have to put up with permanent blemishes. In a work boot, to me, that is a non issue. Great looking, great fit, great boot. Buy the Dr Marten Balsam to keep them treated, and you'll enjoy them for a long while.

Great boots! I bought these in a UK 6, and they seem to be about an 8 1/2. It took me a minute to get them on, but once on they felt very comfortable. They feel true to width, and I still have some toe room (my feet are an 8). They look great, too!

Great pair of boots - This is the best pair of boots I ever ever owned. I work as a paramedic and these boot hold under a lot of different environmental issues. Will buy another!

Must have got a bad pair... The boots I have now were purchased less than a year ago. The whole sole, where they are stitched, is completely gone on one boot. I've owned 5 pairs of Dr. Marten boots. The last pair was the only one that did not last. I would hope that the company would consider replacing the boots.

Awesome shoes, awesome service - These shoes are an excellent choice for work as well as casual wear. For casual wear they're basically indestructable. My feet are fully protected and the fit is just right. I couldn't find these shoes anywhere in stock on the net. A local industrial safety supplier could order them, but at a six week wait! Zappos had them in stock and even with free ecomomy shipping, they were here in Hawaii in under a week.

Usually a size 11/12, and I have to wear a foot insert. I got a wider size to accommodate the steel toe.

The shoes are perfect very nice

My feet are a little wide, so I thought a men’s standard size would be fine, but they were too narrow, so I got the wide version, which were way more comfortable. The only problem with that pair was that the two shoes did not fit consistently on both feet. One was way too tight on the top of my foot ( and was a little more worn, which leads me to believe someone else had the same problem). So I ordered the same size, and hopefully the pair that comes will be more even.

I have a pretty small foot and I was worried these would be a little big. The size was fine for me. A little snug on the top of my foot and midway from my ankle to calve, but I think wearing these more will stretch them out. I love the color and look of these boots, I've always been a fan of Dr. Martens so when I saw they had these in my size I immediately ordered them. I haven't had much time wearing them yet so I can't really say how comfortable they are. Right out of the box, they are pretty and look good, especially the color.

I have worn these for years and on my 5th or 6th pair. Hard to remember. They wear well, look great, and are consistent in quality. I would like if the black had the Doc, clear sole though. That sole always felt softer.

Too early to judge durability, but brief notes on other matters. First, boots fit just small too true to size. Because of a lack of .5 sizes I chose to go up to US 11. Normally I wear a 10.5, but the boots fit quite well in the length. My feet tend toward narrow, so I do not have the same complaint as others on the fit across the top of the foot. I concur that there is very little arch support. Some breaking in is required, and because of the stiffness of the top of the boot, I've had some minor chafing on my right shin. I'm pleased with the look, and apparent sturdiness. If they wear well over time, I think the purchase will have been well worth it.

Get these in a wide fit. I saw queens of the stone age in these, and got photo bombed. Would of been much better if my shoes fit.

Really tight. High quality boot though!
