Disappointed by defect - I bought a pair in may. In less than three months of minimal wear, due to weather conditions on drilling rig locations the sole has seperated from the shoe. I love my boots! Most comfortable pair of workboots ever owned. Retailer is replacing the shoe but I've waited for 2 months because of backorder problems. I just wish they were a little more punctual replacing a defective shoe.

Uncomfortable and stiff. Hard to get foot in. I barely wear them. I have a second pair of steel toes. They also run small

One of these boots felt more narrow than the other. I own a lot of shoes and have never had to buy a wide to fit into them comfortably. After stretching the width of one of the boots, and breaking them in for a few weeks, they are becoming more comfortable.

Dr Marten 2295 Review - This boot is great for all around house/farm work, but if you work in an industrial environment this boot will not last. I work in a paper mill and deal with tons of rotating equipment and chemicals. The leather this boot is made of cannot resist the wear from banging boots against metal. The leather rips on every opportunity it can. I much rather Timberland Pro-series. At least the Timberlands can last over a year in my work environment.

Toe-crushingly tight. Perhaps if I fully broke them in they would be better but just looking at them makes my feet hurt.

These would be better with a zipper. Too hard to put on and take off. Would return if I could. The foot part is far too wide while the other part is too narrow and putting them on is huge struggle.

This are impossible to get on and off. Terribly uncomfortable and no arch support. While they may be great for their intended use, they are horrible for everyday wear. I wish I could return these but I’ve already worn them.

These are the worst boots I've ever owned. Both soles split within 6 months, under not very demanding circumstances. I think I'm done with Doc's.

These boots are horrible. They don't fit properly. The foot area fits fine, but the upper part of the boots, above the ankle, is way too loose. No laces to keep them in place, so the boots flop and shift all over the place when walking.

Had these boots for 4 months before the sole cracked in half right at the ball of my foot and the leather around the steel toe was completely worn away, will never buy Dr. Martin's again.

These boots were my first pair of pull-ons. took almost two weeks to break them in. the top of my feet were rubbed raw. i wore them for 2 months ,working a physical job,and the sole of the boot ripped off. i wouldnt reccommend these boots, seems like shotty workmanship. do they make a good quality boot anymore?? zappos serice was great. after reciving my boots i learned i needed a wider size. i recieved another pair of boots within two days. thanks guys.

I bought these boots for my husband always heard good things about Dr. Marten work boots so thought we would give em a try. He wore them for 4 months and the whole sole came off the bottom on both boots these boots didn't hold up well at all. I won't be buying any more.

A well made boot, but was by far the worst pair of work boots I have ever owned. I could not break them in. Insoles did not work, they were just horribly uncomfortable and it did not get better with time. Maybe they are good if you are at a rave posing and standing around, but when you've worked on your feet for 12 hours like I have done the only thing you want to do with these boots at the end of the day is throw them in the trash. I am not impressed with Dr. Martens; buy something else.
