Awesome, comfortable sandals. I normally wear a size 6 (36). They run huge. Returned for size 35, which fit perfect. Wonderful Zappos got both shoes the next day. Been with Zappos since 2004.

I bought these shoes for my husband, who wears a size 14 shoe. Zappos is the only place where I could find his size in Berkenstocks. I used to get them at Nordstroms but they stopped carrying his size. Thank you Zappos!

I had plantar fasciitis and a friend recommended these to me and now my feet don't hurt and I just bought another pair for a friend in Thailand and will be shipping to them soon as order arrives I told him it will take away the pain in his feet too!

The Zappos service was pretty amazing. They shipped the original order to me by overnight shipping. The first pair did not fit so I ordered a replacement pair. The replacement pair was also sent by overnight shipping without even waiting for the original pair to be returned. Then they paid for the return shipping as well.

The shipping for these was amazing, I got them the day after I ordered them. They are really comfortable and look great, but they took a while to break in. I got blisters on the soles of my feet, which made it difficult to walk for a couple of days. But once the break-in period was done the sandals were amazing.

I've been buying and wearing these for about 20 years. They are great as many of you know. The pairs which they sell now have artificial leather. This time I accidentally purchased one of those pairs. I returned them and figured out that the Arizona Nubuck style was what I really wanted. The artificial leather seems to be alright, maybe it is better than real leather, but I didn't like it. For me it was like wearing a polyester shirt instead of cotton. The thing that really aggravated me is that I spent a large amount of time on the Zappos web site trying to figure out which pair of Birkenstocks to buy, since they have so many variants. I just wanted to buy the same type as I have always bought. There are so many words and videos which try to create the impression of important distinctions between the different styles. The one great important distinction was not made clear, which was synthetic leather vs. real leather. The real leather costs an extra $40-50 and other than that the sandals are exactly the same. Yes, exactly the same. All those words they write and videos just confused everything. It really is not as complicated as they make it seem. I paid the extra money because I love the product, but I'm curious why a few strips of baseball glove type leather adds so much to the price or for that matter why I need to pay this much for sandals at all. Note to Birkenstock: the Chinese could easily make your product.

I just love my old faithful Birkenstocks! They are the most comfortable shoes ever with a great arch support! I sure wish they came in feminine colors and styles up to size 47. That's right I wear a women's 15 and have always struggled in finding "cute" shoes. Oh well, at least I am "comfy".

One note of caution: The "Picante Rio" color is much darker than the image on the website, closer to a burnt orange than the picture’s bright orange.

Still can't beat Birkenstock for Comfort - closest I've come would be Wolky Sandals. Would prefer more variety but guess Birkies are Birkies. Thinking of getting a pair of Birkie clogs but would like to see more in the smooth leathers than the suedes. BTW - order down, especially if you are ordering a wide width. Even with my wide feet and long-ago-broken toe issues, the wide is PLENTY WIDE. Fortunately Zappos dynamite customer service email response answered my questions in this regard before I ordered, so didn't have to mess with guessing and exchanging.

Granted, this particular style of Birkenstock is not the most feminine or dressy of styles. However, I don't recall ever feeling exactly "feminine" with blisters that throb or feet that ache or toes that are reformed into a misshapen cluster. So I suppose the trade off is really worth it after all! These shoes deliver total comfort with no blisters or throbbing.
