I've had a pair of Birks for years before I misplaced them. I just purchased another pair. They are the same quality as my previous pair. I usually wear a Men's size 8 in Nike's. I had to order a size 38 narrow for the Birks. But I don't understand how people say these are comfortable sandals. They are hard and stiff. I actually like the way they look. I was at an amusement park this past weekend and brought along both my Birks and my Crocs. First day was water rides so I wore my Crocs and my feet felt amazing all day. Next day was roller coasters and I wore my Birks and big mistake. By the end of the day my feet were sore and it was an enormous relief once I got them off. I mean they are okay sandals, but lol at the people saying they fix plantar fasciitis and stuff.

Purchased these for my husband before vacation. He had a pair several years ago and loved them. so, my 4 star rating is based more on that. A month after this purchase, he says the back strap rubs more than he remembers. This may go away after they're broken in. Looking forward to the return of comfortable.

Love the shoe, especially with my narrow feet. One problem was edge of both toe and instep strap bruised my foot and created two scabs on each foot. I bent the leather edge back and forth with a plier to soften. As soon as foot recovers I hope that corrected it.

Love the color, perfect shade of orange. Fits perfectly, I'm a size 9. Quality construction, except for a smear of glue on the cork side.

Second pair - They take a little while to break in and the front strap cuts into the top of the foot a bit when they are brand new but that was true for my last pair too. If they last as long as my previous pair (4 years) than I can handle that.

Third pair - Although I haven't completely broken in the new pair yet, I will say that I can't imagine living without my Birkenstocks. This is my third pair of the Arizona style. I ordered them to have a spare. They have been long lasting and after a break period, very comfortable. I wear them all day around the house.

Birkenstocks Don't Really Come in Narrow - I ordered a pair to replace the ones I'd been wearing for 15 years, and got the same size I got then. Even with the buckles on the last hole, they were still too loose, so I had to punch new holes in the back strap to make them wearable. I could have returned them, but really wanted this pair so I made them work--just be warned that they aren't really narrow widths.

Birkenstock's Arizona - I love the arch support in this shoe but for some reason they rub calluses on my foot just below my big toe. I have found that Earth shoes do this also. I do like the look of the shoes and continue to wear them.

What can one say, Birkenstocks are the way to go. They are always so comfortable. This is a replacement pair, because I had worn the sole off my other pair. I love them. I wear them all the time, summer and winter.

Birkenstocks seem to get larger and larger. First time ever that I went down to a 42 from my usual 43-44. And I also had to exchange regular width for narrow--I expect most people would find Birkenstock's "narrow" more than wide enough.

This is my first pair of birkenstocks and I love them. They run wide and as a result I needed to exchange my regulars for narrows. They definitely need to be broken in before wearing for long periods of time. But overall, I'm pleased with my purchase.

My feet are happy - This is the second pair of Birks I've owned. The last pair lasted over five years and were pretty rough. These are even more comfortable. The narrow size is key for people with a narrower foot, like me (not available last time I bought). I definitely would recommend for anybody looking for a comfortable sandal that will last a long time.

Excellent Service! I decided one afternoon to try my first pair of Birkenstock's. Had heard about them from friends who had been wearing them for years. I have a very hard time finding shoes that fit because my feet or so thin. I took the advice of several others who had ordered from Zappos and ordered a size smaller than it indicated I should order. Guess what! I got the shoes the NEXT morning and they were a perfect fit. I am breaking them in now and believe I will really like them. Thank you!

Ordered narrow never got it... Having a narrow foot I was excited to see the Arizona Birkenstock came in narrow...after two returns I finally just kept the last pair...it still said medium on the box but it was a tad narrower than the first 2 pair I was sent...r.white

Birkenstock Arizona - Shoe itself is a great product. Go about a size down then normal. Overal satisfied with purchase.

Ugly but Comfy - Like most all birk's, these won't win you any fashion contests. Probably the ugliest of the 70 some pairs of shoes I own. Once broken in, they'll rank right at the top in comfort, though... Don't expect comfort right off, as they'll be too stiff...Give it a month or so of regular wear...

Sandals at last - Due to fallen arches and heel spurs I must wear orthotics and very supportive foot gear. I was told not to wear sandals imagine my delight when my birkenstocks offered me the freedom of sandals. Break in time was less than two days. I did order a smaller size and width which fit perfectly I will be ordering more in the future. I do wish the plastic birkenstocks came in half sizes.

The footbed fits excellently. The upper cross strap is too close to the bend of the foot and is cutting into the foot making walking painful.

The give me blisters, but I'm told this are sandals that mold to your feet like Dr. Martins do... we'll see, won't really know more until the summer when I wear them more.

Not good for flat feet - I bought these 2 months after foot surgery to wear around the house on my hardwood floors. I was surprised that these shoes hurt my foot, since I have always heard how great Birkenstocks are for your feet. When I told my physical therapist, he said that Birkenstocks are not good for people with very flat feet, which I have; they work best for people with high arches. I wish I had known that before spending too much money on shoes that I have worn inside a few times.

Birkenstock Arizona - women's review - I had a pair of Bass sandals that "look like" Birkenstock's. I have loved them and have not been able to replace them. I paid an high price for these and they are not as comfortable and they are much more cloddy than the Bass ones I had. They tend to run big - I am a US size 7 and my Bass sandals were 7's but the Euro 38's are bigger and I probably could have gone with a 6-6.5 (37) instead. I wore my old sandals every day every where...

Runs larger and wider than they should - My foot slides forward in this style. It's too bad because Arizona has the most color choices. My foot doesn't slide in NEPAL. I need to think of a solution for this because of the new fall colors! I ordered the narrow. I fell Birkenstock runs wide. This show also runs a little longer.

Las Vegas Shoe Review - I bought these shoes to wear in Las Vegas on vacation. I found that after I had worn them for about an hour, they started to make my legs hurt. I had to carry an extra pair of shoes with me whenever I wore them.
