I bought my first pair of Mephisto Helens in 2004. I bought a second pair in 2005, along with 2 additional pairs in 2013. They are awesome! I can't imagine a more comfortable sandal. I wear them with everything, regardless of whether they match what I'm wearing, because they are THAT comfortable! My mom and I were long-time Birkenstock fans, but I switched to Mephisto in '04 and never looked back. Mom just switched from Birkenstock too!! After comparing them side-by-side yesterday, we both agree that Mephistos are simply a lot more comfortable. The foot bed is softer in terms of both fabric and cushion. The arch support is better with Mephistos, as well. The greater value far exceeds the extra cost.

Wonderful sandal! More comfortable than tennis shoes! This is my 3rd pair of this style. They are flattering to my size 11 (40) feet. Expensive, but they last for years. Well worth the price.

This shoe gives good support, is super comfortable for walking and yet looks great with skirts and summer crops and shorts. The color is true to picture and if you are looking for a go to summer shoe this one is great. True to size and my foot is narrow and this one fits very well.

I love these sandals and own them in more than a few colors. My foot is a bit wide, so the adjustable strap is a great feature. These are a true navy color, so are a good addition to my collection. They're really comfortable and form to your foot the first time you wear them.

Really cute, the texture and color make this sandal seem very current. Love the fit too!

These are great shoes. I love the beige patent color and they feel great to walk in. The comment from the info page about getting a size larger is true since they do run a little smaller. The best part is that unlike Birkenstocks they don't have to be broken in!

I now have 3 pairs of this sandal in various colors. I can depend on it being a sandal that is comfortable all day long!

So comfortable and light! But one color was not true! I wear an 8. My foot is fairly flat, slightly wide. I needed a 39 (9) in these because my pinkie toes kept drifting over the side of the sole. No issues with toe loop and the buckle on the instep is a total bonus for me since I needed a 9. However, the color silver star is not well represented in the images and is actually much more a metallic/mirror than the creamy color the photos depict. Still very cute but not exactly what I was looking for. I was able to find solace in the mint perle patent. And Zappos free shipping and returns cannot be beat!

: Love, love, love these sandals! I bought two pairs of the same sandals 8 years ago and they still look great, so I decided to buy another pair in another color to add to my collection. They are extremely comfortable as well from day one. I would highly recommend these.

I really enjoy wearing these shoes, they are super comfortable and they look great on my feet even thought I have really no arch at all. I wish they would make many more shoes similar to these as they are truly worth the price. The arch support is great and I can wear them all day without any worries.

Pretty sandal but the 39 is a little short for a size 9. I'm returning them, but will try Mephisto again.

Very comfortable shoe. I ordered them in the navy as well as the silver. Really cute and I look forward to many miles in both of these shoes. They do run pretty close true to size. I wear a 7 and ordered the 37 and they seem to be fine.

I have always loved Mephisto's for arch support and comfort...this shoe is absolutely adorable in color and style as well...receive compliments every time I wear them.

Great sandal or so my sister tells me. This is the second pair I have had to buy her in a different color. They really are the rave in San Diego!

My feet are happy! I literally stepped out of my Birkenstock and into the Helen with an "aahhh!" The Helen has so much more support and stability plus the cushion/foot bed is amazing. I don't fight to keep the Helen on my foot, and I always felt I did that with the Birkenstock. I have a stress fracture of the foot from running and this sandal is what I'm going to live in this summer. I have always been a form over function girl wanting stylish shoes, and this one fits the bill on both counts.

These are the most sturdy and rugged sandals! They give wonderful support for a long day of being on your feet. I buy a new pair of the Helens every two or three years. Very comfortable foot bed and adjustable straps.

I wear a size 5 and can rarely find shoes I like in any shoe or department store. Zappos always has a variety of European sandals with great arch support in my size. The Mephisto Helen is amazingingly comfortable and has great arch support. I was able to wear the shoe all day right out of the box. No break in period was needed. I have ordered from Zappos several times and always find my day brightened in speaking with their folks. Zappos customer service reps are always courteous, friendly and extremely helpful. It's a pleasure to place an order.

Mephisto's Helen is very comfortable and helps give my feet the support they need. I can be stylish and comfortable with these shoes!

This is a great looking and fitting sandal. I love the way it molds into my foot. I wear an 11 but I ordered a 12. Glad I did because due to my long toes I fear the 11 would have been a little short. Overall, I'm a happy camper and can't wait to give them a spin.

Ever since I installed marble floors in my house, these have been my shoe. Fortunately, after 16 years, they are still making them and, since I live in Florida, I usually have 4 or 5 pairs in different colours. They are just great!

These shoes are great, love the bronze color I have found that manyof the european sizes run just a little smaller. Im 72 and I love shopping with Zappo. They are wonderful and so helpful. Thank you

This is my second pair of Helens, and I love them. Good support, and comfort. Zappos is easy to use, and always efficient and helpful.
