Very comfortable. I debated whether they were too short, having read a review about the distance to be available at the toe for proper fit. I kept them and now think I should not have. So order a size larger than you usually do!

Great shoe for my sensitive feet! They look cute and are a little sleeker than the Birks. I do a lot of walking on a daily basis and these have been comfortable since day 1. I have a feeling they will last for years and continue to be just as comfortable.

These are very comfortable right out of the box. No breaking in, fit was exceptional. Quality made. True to size.

First pair of Mephisto sandals I've purchased and I am very pleased. Ordered in patent nude color and when they arrived I worried the toe piece would be rigid and cause discomfort. After a day or so wearing them around the house they are just fine! No issues! Wear them regularly now. Would absolutely order another pair

I purchased these in Nickel Salsa...I love them! They are so shiny and pretty. This is only my second pair of Mephisto Helen shoes but I definitely plan to purchase more. Probably the best pairs of shoes I've ever owned!

This is my fourth pair, so you know I love them. They do take a little breaking in period. But then they are blissfully comfortable. I wear them almost daily for 5+ months of the year.

Great fit. Comfy. Nice texture and look to the leather straps. Footbed is dreamy. Bottom line, this is not the prettiest shoe but if comfort, comfort with a bit of style and durability are important to you then this is it. This is my 2nd pair. Great walking for city, country and giving a Boho vibe to casual chic. Mephisto and Zappos, quality product and well curated selection plus customer service! what a great combination.

This was my first purchase of this brand. I read all the reviews about size, so I ordered a 38 (my usual size) and a 39. Well, the 38 fit pretty well, but I did not have the recommended space at the toe and heel. My heel was just about to the end and my toe tips hit the raised area. The 39 fit better as far as the foot bed. But the straps were too loose. Nice style and quality, but I obviously need a true 8 1/2.

These are definitely comfortable shoes and the most stylish I can find of their type. I have plantar fasciitis and bought 2 styles for a vacation - the other with a wedge that are really cute and more comfortable for me. But if you like flats these are great.

This is my second pair of Mephisto sandals. Pricey, but they're the most comfortable walking sandals I've ever worn. Perfect for traveling and sightseeing!

I have had about 4 pairs over the years. They wear great and are the most comfortable sandal you can buy. At least that's what I have found for myself.

These are shoes for slimmer, narrower feet (the Helen Plus is a wider option). The material you choose is critical for comfort between the toes (Ultrasuede and the Grey Etna have worked for my sensitive skin) I am in love with both pairs.

I have these shoes in both black and red. They are the perfect summer comfort shoe and style is, in my opinion, more attractive than the Birkenstocks.

I usually wear Birkenstocks in the summer but decided to try these. I found them to be firmer and more supportive than the Birks. They're also turning out to be more comfortable although I haven't gone on any real long walks yet. I normally wear a 7 narrow and got them in the 37. They were just big and narrow enough. I don't think someone with a wider foot could wear them. As others have said I wish they came in 37.5. All in all this is an attractive shoe and I'm happy with my purchase.

I love these sandals. I have an old pair that I have been wearing for over 4 years and it was definitely time to replace them. After researching my options I decided that I simply wanted the same sandal again.

I really love these shoes, however I wear a womens 12 and I ordered the 13 and it was to small. So I would say that these shoes run 1 to 1 1/2 sizes small.

This is a beautiful sandal especially in this summer wear-with-everything color. Unfortunately one of my feet is a little bigger than the other and these are not quite long enough. As others have said, inside the shoebox it notes recommended roominess; my toes and heel were where the room should be. Too bad, not available in bigger size. Order early!

The arch support is the best and really helped my feet. I used to beat myself up over the price but now realize women spend a lot more to destroy their feet. Mephistos keep my feet going all day and my plantars at bay.

I have several pairs of Mephisto sandals. They are wonderful, comfortable and have great arch support. Zappos has a great selection and I received my order very quickly. I also appreciated the coupon which helped make the shoes more affordable.
