This is my third pair of Mephisto Helen shoes and I still love them. This is my second pair in brown, I still have the blue ones. So comfy and cute.

Wow! I love these. They have a great feel, very comfy. I usually prefer sandals because they don't involve something between the toes; I rarely even try thongs. Also, I once bought a Mephisto closed-toe shoe on sale (long ago) that gave me blisters after walking less than a mile. But I took a chance on these based on the reviews, and these are, well, miles better. Now, I can't comment on their durability just yet. But as soon as I put these on, I said, to myself, out loud, OMG I never, ever want to take these off, they are SO comfortable.

These are my favorite shoes without question. As for sizing, I am an 8- (8.5 in smaller brands like Nike or tons) and take a 39. Structurally, I have weak ankles and high arches and struggle with any sort of flat sandal. These shoes blow all of their competition out of the water for fit(supportive), durability(excellent quality), and customer care (can have re-soled like Birkenstock). I wear them basically all summer long and never have to worry about having the wrong shoes on- they are always up for the job! They are great for those impromptu long walks and even hold up well in wet conditions.

This is my third pair of Mephisto Helen. I love them. Super comfortable, and I often receive compliments on the patent leather look. I have other Mephisto sandals and this brand just seems to be perfect for my feet.

I love these sandals! I have been buying them for years. They are great for the arch support. I need the strap between my toes to keep the shoes on. If you need arch support and that are not too heavy, these are the shoes for you.

This is far from being my first pair of Mephistos!! And it will be far from the last. They are beautiful, tough and last forever. I must stay with the buckle styles and they work nicely!!

I loved these but returned them because the piece between the toes somehow pressed on the nerve there but only on one foot.

Fantastic sandal! I have plantar fasciitis, bunions, and painful bumps on the tops of my feet. This sandal is great for all 3! Best arch support ever for plantar fasciitis. The longer you wear them, it forms even better to your foot. I have 3 pairs now. I keep the old worn ones for around the house. Only the Helen has room for the bunions. I tried some Mephisto shoes and they have no room for bunions.

My podiatrist recommended I wear these around the house rather than go barefoot. These are beautiful and comfortable shoes. I ordered a half size up and they fit perfectly. (Usually 8.5 and ordered 9)

Classic Mephisto sandal. I've been wearing this style of years and find them very comfortable.

Great, much more comfortable than my Birks! Much softer foot bed! If between sizes, size up.

This is my forth pair of this style. The leather is not to thick and needs no breaking in time. I can walk for a long time in these, they are very comfortable!

I've been wearing the Helen for more than 10 years. I have very delicate skin and any of the more natural leather (not patent leather or other highly processed types) work great for me. This is my go to sandal every summer. I've learned that when I travel, the Helen is the only sandal I need. They last for years (even when I wear them constantly) and, no, I don't get stinky feet from these (like some people have noted), even though I live in a very hot climate. They wear well, they fit great, and I love them. They're so classic and go with everything. I am a true size 8 - with one foot measuring just slightly over 8. But in nearly every shoe I buy, I have to buy a 9 (even 8.5 is too small). In the Mephisto Helen, I wear a 38 and it is perfect. I've tried the 39 and it is just sloppy big on my foot. The 38 leaves plenty of room for my toes - within the outline of the recessed footbed. I have a high instep, and although I don't measure as a true wide, I find my feet are sometimes a little wider than fit in what should be my size (8 or 8.5).

Love this shoe. My 2nd pair. They last forever but after years I lost one! Comfortable and great support. I wear a size 10 and the 41 fits perfectly.

Love these Helens I will be wearing this style for a long time, Very well made shoe great arch and foot support. Wear them everywhere except to bed.

These Mephisto Helens are my second pair they fit so nicely no break in at all. Love the color

So sad! The spice color is a gorgeous mauve. The shoe is so comfy. Length good, but too narrow. I know that Mephisto runs narrow, but was hoping these would work for me.

I had to break these in. The toe strap and arch strap needed softening. I’m so glad I was patient and adjusted the straps. I love these sandals. I just ordered another pair in black patent. I love Mephistos. Normally I am a 10.5. I ordered the 41. 1/2 size up.

This is my third pair of Helen Mephisto, they are very comfortable, work well with several outfits. I wear them all summer.

My favorite sandals

These are nice looking and very comfortable! Started wearing them right out of the box and am liking them much better than a pair of similarly styled Birkenstocks!

So, I was skeptical at first when I put these on. I noticed my toes seemed to hit the sides, and I didn't feel like they were that comfortable, but I knew they were stiff. After about a day, they became a lot more comfortable and now I love wearing them. I find them a lot more comfortable than Birkenstocks. Size-wise they are accurate. I even normally wear rigid arch supports, but (obviously) don't wear them with these, and don't need to. I haven't worn them standing up all day or walking all day; just your normal in and out of the car, some walking around type of thing. Overall, I'm really pleased.
