This not my first pair of Helens by far, I have about three in my current rotation. I keep coming back to this shoe because of fit, style, support and value.

Fit and size and true!

I normally wear a size 8, but my heel and toes were edging over the back and side, so I purchased the 9 and it was perfect! So, I would say that, yes, the 9 felt a half size (maybe even up to a full size) smaller than what I would normally expect from a 9. And they don't look as clunky as I would expect from this type of shoe. This will be perfect for wearing on my cruise to Italy!

I absolutely love these shoes. maybe my all time best shoe purchase. Haven't had opportunity to wear outside yet but could tell as soon as I put them on they were going to be well loved!

I first tried a 37 which was a bit too small. I’m between a 7/8 mostly a 71/2 so I ordered the size 38 and they fit great. Very comfortable I would. Say much more so for me than Birkenstocks. Color was great I think it’s called light rose? But goes with everything.

Mephisto are the only sandal I will buy! The arch support is just right and I feel balanced in them. They seem to last forever too!

I'm usually a standard US Women's size 9 so I originally ordered them in size 39. but those turned out to be a smidge too small so I returned them and got the 40 which is the right size for me. However, I have narrow feet and I had to tighten the buckle. The tightest setting is a smidge too tight and the second tightest isn't tight enough - I really need a sweet spot in between the two holes. So I'm working on making that tightest hole a bit looser and wearing them for a bit every day to break them in and stretch a bit. I'm headed to Portugal in two months and would like these to be my walk around all day with no discomfort, sandals. The materials are great, the leather is soft and the footbed is comfortable and feels good on my feet. The part that goes around my big toe will need some breaking in but I know I'll get there. I got the yellow suede and it's a great neutral color that goes great with summer dresses.

This was my 5th pair of these shoes. I know my size is a 40 in European sizing. I usually wear a smaller size in most shoes, including Clarks. I wear these shoes everyday! ??

Have been wearing these Helen for 20 years. Walking on stone floors made my feet so sore. Whenever there is a sale I buy. Hanna style is great too but the colors are boring.

She likes them. Has good arch support. Calls them her old lady shoes.

Love these shoes! They are a tad narrow in the toe area so if you have wide feet they may not fit well. They do have a wide version of this shoe. Very good leather, great support, good feel.

I never expect my shoes to feel perfect out of the box, but these sure do. My goodness, they are absolutely fantastic. I adjusted the straps one notch tighter than where I'd normally where them because of expected stretch as these sandals conform to my feet for a custom fit. The leather will begin to show some wear (mild indentations) from the buckles, and already I'm feeling glad I did that. I can feel the straps settling in after just one day of wearing the sandals. The leathers are not treated with any chemicals, and all materials are carefully sourced. I am so happy with these sandals and am wondering why it took me years to finally buy a pair. I'm usually more an eight than a 7.5, but I can waffle between the two sizes depending on the shoes. I ordered a 38, the same size I wear in Birkenstocks, and they're perfect. I do have long big toes, and there's a bit of room to the edge of the sandals, but I read that for a good fit you'll want a little bit of room front and back. My arches are a tad on the high size and they are loving the footbed. Cork adjusts to your feet; it's a process. My Birkenstocks took a lot of wearing before they became a perfect fit, but I knew to expect that and was happy with the process. I'm thrilled with my new Mephisto sandals and am sure I'll be wearing this same pair for years to come.

I wear size 13 women’s these fit like a glove, which does not happen often. They are comfortable to wear and they look nice outfits.

The fastener on the left show rubbed against a malformed bone in my foot. No fault of the shoe. I would love these shoes to work but my foot is not cooperating.

Lovely green color upper. Super comfy footbed. I found the leather stiff between my toes. Would have to be broken in before my toes would be happy. Very nice cushioning and arch support.

These are really cute, they just didn't fit my foot very well, and were just a little too flat for me. I need just a little heel.

So comfortable. My new favorite shoes.

I love the Mephisto Helen because they are refined and make my feet feel 3 dimensional again. I don’t realize how flat my feet feel until I slip them on. Glorious. They aren’t clunky wide like many Birkenstocks are and the foot bed is comfortable and gets even more so over time. I have two pair and I cannot wait for summer.

It’s my first pair of Mephistos but I’m really pleased. The quality is excellent. I was looking for a pair of comfortable navy sandals and struck gold with these. The comfort is comparable to Birkenstock sandals which I love. I have narrow feet and high arches but these have fit very well. Rare indeed. Love these shoes.
