These are beautiful sandals, but I have wide feet and they were tight and rubbed the sides by my big toes. I love the style but they did not work for me.

Nice looking sandal. Very comfortable. Has excellent arch support, unlike most sandals. Very pricey, but I think these will last several summer seasons and never go out of style. Nice with shorts or something dressy. Good quality sandal.

Very comfy sandal, however I don't suggest you use it as a heavy walking sandal. Narrow strip holding it to your foot means lot of pressure on the toes to keep the shoe on your foot.

I'm a true fan of Mephisto Footware, but I'm sorry to say they missed the mark with this style. The patent leather is to stiff.

Patent leather band is quite wide, so my foot slipped forward and it is also very stiff, so I think the break in period might be painful!

Very disappointing, especially for the cost. While the footbed is very comfortable, the top is extremely uncomfortable. They were very snug--I have a pretty narrow foot and was surprised how tight these were. But I liked the footbad so much I decided to have them stretched...still no good. They rub horribly and even on a day of minimal walking I got blisters on both feet. Like I said, very disappointing, wish I had returned them.

Nice looking shoe, foot bed comfortable. Great height, but patent leather across top of foot digs into foot.

The strap on this shoe is not designed for an actual foot -- it was so small I could not slip my foot into it. I ordered my usual size 39 in the black dakar and the footbed was perfect but the strap had no clearance and no give. This is too bad as I love mephistos and dearly want a single strap shoe. They used to make one that had an adjustable buckle and I wore those til the outsole had been replaced twice!

These shoes began to rub a blister on the top of my foot within 2 minutes of putting them on. I have worn Mephisto for years and love their footbed. The top of this sandal is way to stiff and rubs terribly. Sorry I had to return them. But thank you Zappos.

I bought the Hanka with great expectation due to the Mephisto name. This shoe is so uncomfortable! I wouldn't recommend it. I paid a lot and regret it. Wish I would have purchased NAOT.
