Best Boots I've ever had from the top name in shoes - Zappos - I've had many different boots in my lifetime but these boots standout as the best. I've never received so many compliments on any footgear before. The girls love em(: Also they are extremely comfortable and solidly contstructed. So make a statement - the girls will definitely notice! Zappos.com has excellent customer service. Their level of service should be the benchmark by which all other online and bricks and mortar stores are judged.

Easiest shopping ever - This happens to be the first thing I have ever bought online. I know my size (us9-uk8) and the style I wanted. I found the price to be about 15% cheaper then any retail store in nh/mass. My boots arrived a day early with free shipping...

All others are poor imitations - Great boots. Tough-looking, durable, and comfortable. This comfort comes at a price, however-plan on losing some skin from your achilles tendon and maybe your ankles while they break in. These are boots for which your feet must break-in as well. But, with a little patience (and a moderate pain threshold), you'll have a pair of boots that feel great, look great, and will last for a good long while (my last pair went almost five years of nearly daily use before I literally walked them off my feet). Pay close attention to sizes when ordering--they go by U.K. sizing (U.K. men's 10=U.S. men's 11)

Great Docs - Love my docs! I've been wearing low top docs for a year, this is my first new pair of boots in about 5 years. Sizing runs a little large; I normally wear a 5.5 in docs, these are a 5 and fit perfectly. Also customer service line was extremely helpful and friendly.

I ordered these shoes and when I recieved them I found out that they were about a size too large. I called up Zappos, explained my situation, they sent out another pair, in a smaller size.

Great Shoe. My son has liked these shoes for years and he says they are the best. This was his birthday gift and for the price and value you can't beat them. They last and last and he says they are the most comfortable shoe and boot he has ever worn.

I'm stoked on these boots, it was hard to find a size 14, but Zappos had it. Now I have boots that fit.

I Love Them - This is my first pair of Doc's. I have wanted a pair my whole life, yet only recently had the extra money for a pair. I wear a 9 1/2 in U.S. sizing, so i got an 8 in U.K. They're a little snug but not unconfortable in any way what so ever. They hurt a little on top of the heel, but after a few days they're really confortable. They look really good to half way between work boots and combat boots. One more thing the Steel Toe is worth ever cent.

Nice boots - Nice color. Not too red, not too purple. The tongue on this pair is a little crumpled, and one of the insoles is loose, but that's probably just this particular pair. Love Docs

Best Shoe Store on the Web! I tried to order these boots through another company, and they had them backordered for two weeks. I finally called the company and they refused to give me answers, so I cancelled my order and tried zappos. I ordered these at 11:00 pm on a thursday night and not only did they have them shipped out a few hours later, but they upgraded my shipping to overnight for free! I received them by 1:00 pm the next day! It really saved Christmas for my little brother. I'll never order shoes anywhere else again!

Live up to the old English version - I just got the cherry red to work in. I just had to get rid of the old pair that I had--they were just worn to the max. The only thing different about the new ones is they are made in China now and the take a little longer to break in than the English ones, but I think they are awesome, comfortable and very stylish. I love my Docs, I'll never wear another brand of shoe.

Comfortable and Rugged - These boots are both stylish and durable. I bought these for the forging company I work at and they have kept my feet warm and comfortable both indoors and out.

Great boots, I only wear Doc's. There's no other boot that comes close!

Too Cool - Good boot. Wore them for first time today. Hey they were pretty darn comfortable. I was expecting some pain and agony. I'm 54 and love the Cherry Red ones. Everyone at work thought they were Cool. My son has worn this style boot for years. I see why now. Some boots are trendy, some boots are comfortable, these are both!!! Later Dudes

Awesome pair of boots - I’ve been wearing Docs for several years and found that they are the most comfortable boot on the market. I recommend them to anyone who has to do a lot of work on their feet. They have never failed me at any time and these are the best boots ever to come on the market.

Once again "Excellent" - Dr. Martens has once again exceeded expectations with their boots. I purchased these boots about 1 month ago and the first day I wore them it was great. No break in period necessary and instantly very stylish. I got them in the cherry color and they were just what I was looking for.

Docs 1919 - I cannot review the shoes as a product as they were a gift to my son-in-law. He seems to be pleased with them as my daughter says that he wears them everywhere he goes. I can attest to the service that i received with Zappos-It was extraordinay!!!! I very seldom order on line but you can be assured that in the future if I need anything that you have I will order from Zappos!!

Dr. Marten's, a pleasure - I bought these boots for my son, he has worn Dr. Mareten's for the last 5 years and they never seem to wear out. He wanted a good looking steel toe for a change and these fit the bill. It would be nice if this particular style came a little bigger as he is still growing, so a 14 and 15 would be great. We like the quality, durability and versatility of these boots and I will be purchasing more, even some for myself.

Dr. Martin's 1919 Series - Excellent, comfortable, long-lasting; we all have worn DocMartins for more than ten years.

I had been looking for boots that look like the Doc Martens 1919 for a long time, because I needed work boots that looked at home in the historical re-enactment setting. After reading the reviews, I ordered a pair and they arrived quickly. When I first put them on they were quite stiff and squeaked when I walked, but after a heavy application of mink oil and wearing them for a couple days they quieted down and feel much more comfortable. My only lasting problem is that in the description it specifically mentions steel toe re-enforcement, but when the boots arrived there was a disclaimer that they are NOT meant as safety shoes, but "only as fashion footwear." Who wears steel toe boots as a fashion statement? Other than that, I get the support I wanted and the boots are lightweight, with room to wear two pairs of socks which I feel is how work boots should be.
