These are a great value at their price. I had the brown suede model, they are nice, but scuff super easy, so I got both the brown and black leather. I use them for work. Perfect for the office with occasional trips to the field or work sites. Keeping the suede model for knocking around or going to games on the weekends in the fall and winter.Nice roomy toe box and padded collar is comfy too.

They fit great and are very comfortable. These shoes look good with jeans. I ill be wearing them on my vacation.

I got these shoes as replacement shoe for work. I would wear holes in my shoe at the palm. I decided to get these because of the thicker sole. I've had them about 1 1/2 months and I am very happy.

I love these shoes. I actually bought them several years ago and finally wore them out. I looked all over for a replacement with no luck, but found exactly what I wanted at Zappos! I screwed up and ordered these in the wrong size. I wear an 8.5 in everything, but I forgot in these I need to buy an 8. Zappos was super efficient with the exchange process! I could not have asked for a better experience, and I will but from Zappos again for sure. I have nothing but positive things to say about Zappos' speed, efficiency and top notch customer service. If I could hug them I would!

Second pair that I have bought: first pair were black. Great shoe, very comfortable, and lets me stand on my feet at meetings. Also, they have gotten me lots of compliments. The shoe quality is only surpassed by Zappos great service. I love Zappos service and staff.

I am a car sales professional and am on my feet for 10+ hours a day. I got these and without inserts are very comfortable and supportive. I am prone to Shin splints due to over tightened tendons and these help!

Fit right and comfortable on day one, so if you be a young clueless Obama misfit or an older responsible real American citizen this shoe could be perfect for you. A shoe for everyone. Get some.

I really like these shoes. They're appropriate for a multitude of occasions and last long. They also shine very easily.

I bought these and put them through serious wear and tear right away. With almost no break-in phase, they worked-fit well and stood up to a lot of use. I wouldn't climb a mountain with them, but for day to day wear, I think they're really a good buy.

I used to be a retail store manager, and I was on my feet for 9.5 hours a day, 5 days a week, almost literally running around the store. My feet HURT at the end of every day. What I started with was military dress shoes, because that's all I had at the time. I tried close to a dozen different brands of shoes and nothing worked; my feet still hurt at the end of the day. What is even worse is that all these shoes disintegrated within a couple months. I turned to insoles, and still nothing worked, my feet still hurt. All that changed when I bought this model of Skechers shoes. As soon as I put it on, I could tell there was something different about these shoes. That night, my feet didn't hurt. I was amazed, to put it mildly. Since then, almost a decade later, I've been a loyal Skechers customer the entire time, and I wear a pair of Alley Cats to work every day and to any event less than formal that I want to look good at. Take good care of the leather on these shoes with mink oil or similar, especially at the stress points where they bend with your feet, and they will last you a long, long time.

Love these shoes. This is my third pair in the last 10-12 years. I own a black pair and a brown pair. I wore the brown pair so often, I wore them out so I bought a new pair. These shoes look good with Dockers or other casual dress clothing as well as jeans. Well made, they last a long time.

About every 2 years, I have been buying Skechers Alley Cats (a black and a dark brown) pair of shoes for the last 18 years and I would normally go to JC Penny's to buy it. On January 12, 2013, I went to the Claremore, OK JC Penny store and they had both pairs on the shelf but not in size 10. When they went to place an online order, they said the brown shoes were not available. I decided to drive to Owasso, OK and buy both pairs of shoes from there but they told me the samething. Next, I went to Tulsa, OK and checked out both JC Penny store locations and the 2nd store told me that JC Penny's discontinued carrying the brown pair of shoes. Inside my head, I was shouting "Noooooo!" and I just went home. Finally, I went online and did a Google search for Skechers Alley Cats brand. There were quite a few website choices to select from but I decided to buy my shoes from Zappos.com because they had a black (Oil leather) and a dark brown shoes in size 10 plus in stock. Their prices were reasonable because chalked up to me driving a total of 75 miles and visiting four JC Penny's stores in one day, their prices seemed like a good deal. They shipped it and I got it by that Wednesday. When I opened both boxes, I was extremely happy (again) because I could still continue with my personal tradition of buying both (exactly size 10 black and dark brown) pair of shoes at the same time and I know can just go to the Zappos.com website for future purchases. Plus, their one year return policy is awesome feature.

I could not believe how well made these shoes were when I opened the box. They look even better in person. Love these shoes and also a great deal.

I love, LOVE these shoes!! They are just perfect. I'm an adult female and I bought them for work. They are great! I highly recommend that you buy them if you need a nice pair of shoes for work. They are just fabulous.

A great shoe! Bought for my husband and he loves them. They are true to fit and are so comfortable he wears them sometimes rather than his big heavy work boots.

Overall I really like these shoes. I wear them to work and they go with most casual work clothing options. They polish well if you like to keep them looking good. Two things to note: the tread is a dense foam rubber - which is fine unless you step in mud. Dirt and mud will embed in the tread on the side and you will have to clean it a little more than a hard sole. I have also had two pair over the years with imperfections in the insole. One I returned because it was like a pebble in your shoe - the latest one just an annoyance and I lived with it. They could improve quality control...

I think these things will last a long time. Good room in them and good traction. I got them as a replacement for different brand that had a problem, Zappos service was way over the top.

I had an older pair of these shoes and loved them for over 10 years. This pair is nice, but the material and color is different than the previous ones. Get insoles they are not that padded, but you will like 'em.

These are the third pair of Sketcher Alley Cats I have owned. They are a good overall pair of shoes.

Not much to complain about. Shoes were a bit stiff at first but they have softened up nicely. The shoes are a bit like Doc Martens and we'll see if they last as long. Zappos order process was incredibly easy.

Pros: First off this shoe is beautiful. It's well made and sturdy and will stand up to a lot of abuse. Cons: It's a heavy shoe. You won't be running in these, they are considerably heavier than a sneaker. The arch support is negligible and the insole isn't very comfortable. Summary: Most of the cons can be addressed with a good replacement insole. It's a great shoe, but not a multipurpose shoe. Worth the money and Zappos, as always, has lightning fast shipping, so get em while their hot!

This is a solid shoe that is, in appearance, flexible enough to go with jeans or khakis--good for a casual work environment. Not necessarily the most comfortable shoe, needed a while to break in, and even after 3 weeks walking it's fine but not like walking on a cloud. Gives a subtle lift of about a half-inch, nice for the vertically challenged among us. Overall good value for the price, but not if the price was much higher.

These shoes are real stiff. The top edge of the tongue is not padded. Thankfully it is short enough that it just comes short of digging into the front of my ankle. I like the firm, tough sole as I tend to grind down the outside sole on my right foot. This holds up well for me. They seem a little small until you wear them a bit. Not much ch difference once broken in. Still stiff. If you are looking for something super comfy and supple these do not fit that bill. After about 8 months one of the eyelets popped out. No problem, contacted Zappos support and a replacement pair was on the way. Very happy with their service.
