These are as cozy and comfortable as I was expecting! They will definitely be a staple for me this winter. I have another pair of Uggs (Greenfield) which I also love but I feel like the sizing is different between the two. My Greenfield's are size 8 and I ordered the Brooks in size 7 after reading reviews about how they stretch out. My normal shoe size is a 7.5 in about every other brand. The Brooks were a bit snug at first (so I feel like they are a true 7) but after a couple of wearings, they feel great now, so I do believe they stretch a little though they are still narrower than my Greenfields. As a winter boot meant to keep me warm and also since they are pull-ons, I'd rather that they be more snug than loose and I'm glad I chose the size 7. My only worry is for the shaft and how it may stretch and sag over time (another reviewer mentioned this as well). I plan to wear them only with leggings to avoid overstuffing the shaft and stretching them out. I see these as a great complement to my Greenfields since they are waterproof (and I sprayed them with a silicone shoe protectant as well when I got them). The Brooks feel like a dressier option while my Greenfields are just as warm but more casual for cold days when I don't need waterproof footwear.

These boots are fantastic! My favorite boots I've ever had in winter - a great compromise of being warm and feeling stylish. Very warm. And they are waterproof so you can wear them in the snow.

These boots LOOK incredibly nice, sturdy and of good quality. They are comfortable, stylish and have a much more put together look than that of regular suede Ugg boots. With that being said-- the leather on my right boot is a different color than my left, the right boot has no protective coating over the leather whereas my left boot does, and each boot's leather on the toe ripped within the 2-3rd wear.... Like the leather literally caught on a chair bottom as I moved my foot and just ripped right off. I'd like to say that I'm happy with the boots, but for the cost they should be of higher quality. Wish I had just spent the extra and bought myself a pair of Frye boots.

Beautiful boot and I would have kept them but I had a foot injury this year and the shaft was a bit narrow that it was painful to force my high arch into them. I hated to return them but had to keep my old uggs and order new insoles.

I read all the reviews on these boots, and since I've been looking at them for a while, and I recently moved to Kansas City and super cold weather, I decided to give them a try. If the boots came in an 8.5, they'd be perfect for me. I go between an 8.5 to 9 for sizing on regular shoes. With the Ugg Bailey's I use a size 8. Everyone in the reviews said to go up a size in Brooks, so I went with the 9. I have long toes that don't taper so it's difficult for me to find comfortable, attractive footwear. If the shoes are too tapered, then my toes are squished and will go numb. The size 9 was perfect at first, but it does soften and stretch. I can wear a thin sock with them to help them stay on better and slip less. They ARE comfortable, just like my other Ugg boots. They are warm and I love the way they look, except that they are a tiny bit too big for me now. I've worn them with tights and a skirt, and I normally wear them with pants tucked in. I wanted a winter boot that doesn't LOOK like a winter boot, and these boots are perfect for that. I haven't worn them in much snow yet, but they are amazing for cold weather. If they would make them in 8.5 I'd buy them in a heartbeat! I would love to be able to try a size 8 in these boots, but the problem is you need to be able to actually wear them in everyday life to see if they'll fit when they stretch out, but then you can't return them. I am still happy I have them and I'm making it work with them being a tad too big.

I love the comfort and fold over shaft of this boot however returning because it runs small. Ordered a 9 have to think about whether to reorder in 10 because the toe box looks so huge on my foot already.

Great boot! Comfortable, incredibly warm - good looking! I wear a 7 1/2 in all shoes/boots so I got the 8. It's bigger than I would have liked - wearing it without socks, but I'm certain a 7 would be too small. We'll see is the loose fit poses a problem over time. It really should come in half sizes.

These boots are extremely comfortable and warm. The fleece is throughout the boot but they don't feel too hot based on an hour or two of indoor wear so far. The dark brown leather is a nice color and the shaft is soft so you can wear them up or folded down. They are not listed as waterproof but they seem perfect for any winter activity as long as it isn't extremely wet. My only issue is with the sizing, these are European sized shoes so a 9 is a 40 and a 10 is a 41. Sometimes this works for me but in this case I need something in between. I am a size 10 but occasionally wear a 9 1/2 in a roomier shoe. The 10 is a little roomy and might work but, because of the "work boot" styling of the foot, it looks huge. Since I won't need to wear thick socks with them I tried the size 9 and it looks a lot better but i could feel my toe hit the end of the shoe. I'm returning the 9 and will stare at the 10 for a while longer before I decide whether to keep them. For someone who doesn't feel self conscious about having big feet these boots would be a very nice winter boot option.

I wear an 8.5 or 9 but these size 9s seemed to come off my ankle a bit. A little too loose. Also, the high height is a pain under jeans; they fit under but its a hassle to pull them up. Wish they had these is the short size, then I would be happy!

I have had 3 pairs of Ugg boots Bailey Button, Tall sweater, Tall fur, I took a size 8 in all of them. I bought a size 8 in these and when they came the right felt larger than the left, re-ordered and they still felt a little roomy. I tried the cheaper Brooks Tall II and was happy with fit, but my husband felt they looked cheaper and not as nicely made as the original Brooks Tall. I agreed and keep the tighter 8 in the original Brooks Tall after wearing one day I was happy I did. They are very warm, comfortable, and look great with jeans and a sweater. They also have amazing tread and keep you upright when it's wet. These are expensive, but with the great free shipping Zappos provides and the warmth and beautiful leather Ugg provides they are worth every penny. I highly recommend them, you get a better look than with other Ugg's. Zappos is amazing!

I bought these boots looking for something that would keep my feet warm while sitting at work. And they do. At first I thought the sole was too chunky, so I got the Junipero to compare, but in the end I like the Brooks Tall more. And they have the option to roll down the top, which is very cute with skinny jeans. Thank you Zappos for such good customer service and free returns!

The width was very wide than marked in description other than that they are beautiful boots just wish it was a little narrow.

I just got these in a 7 and 8 (I normally wear 7 - 8 in regular shoes). The 7's looked sleeker, and more fitted around my calves, but the 8s fit. As soon as I slipped my foot into them, I felt the soft plush shearling lining in the footbed. However, the 8s look more bulky on me (I'm 5'3" and 120 lbs). Also the 8s calves are looser. I think that may be good thing, so I can tuck jeans into them, which I have never done before (this is my first pair of Uggs). Overall, they are great and durable looking. I am wearing them inside the house to ultimately decide whether to keep the 8s or not, since they are so pricey.

I love these boots. I wear them all of the time to keep my feet warm, besides being comfortable. They are a definite favorite and fit true to size. I wear around the house, and out and about. I went with this style over the Classic Ugg's because what good is a shearling lined boot if they aren't for winter conditions? They have good traction soles but I still find them to be a little slippery on icy conditions. Otherwise 5 stars.

I really wanted to like these boots but as other reviewers have mentioned they are a bit too chunky for my size and height. They are very warm and cozy and I do like the leather/waterproof but the bunchy ankles will have me sending them back.

I had ordered these boots because I thought that they would be good winter/snow boots. They got great reviews and everyone said they loved 'em... but when I got them, I did not love them. I tried to love them, but they are too rugged looking. Good quality and comfortable, but just not cute enough. I felt like I was wearing fisherman boots - and spending that much, I wanted something a bit cuter. So, I called customer service, who were freakin' amazing! They exchanged these for black Kenly Uggs. Probably not quite as snow/water resistant, but I think I will be happier with a cuter boot.

Very nice looking boot. Order UP if you're between sizes. If you're hoping for a leather version of the classic UGG this falls a little short. If you're looking for an additional pair of UGGS (ones that you can wear in harsher weather) this might be what you're looking for. In the Bay area, these were a little over-kill for me.

I just purchased these boots and they are great. I love them. Very comfortable, warm with a rugged look. True to size and very nice leather.

The boot fit uncomfortably on the top of my foot. I wish it hadn't been so stiff, and more like the sides of the boot. I would have loved to keep them, but was afraid they'd just be a bit too uncomfortable for me.

I love these boots! I had gotten them about a month and a half ago. They are comfy, warm, and stylish. I get compliments every time I wear them. What the pictures doesn’t show is that you can roll them down to expose the shearling lining. I am very satisfied!

I love Zappos, of course! These boots are my expected size 9. There is not as much arch support as I expected. I wear them without socks since socks seem to bunch up in them. Then when barefoot, they seem a little large. I have not worked this out yet. I would have liked for the fleece to be non sheared as other reviewers have said they used to be, but even with the shearing short, I still feel they are good boots. It's not snazzy style, but comfortable boots I will wear for years to come.

Ugg Brooks Tall - After 3 months, a steel bar stuck out of the sole... but Zappos changed it immediately and I ordered exactly the same boot again (brown because they didn't have black anymore). Beside the bizarre incident of the steel bar, they are so comfortable and warm, I hope it was an isolated incident and that the new ones will last very long!!!

UGGS BROOKS TALL - This is a nice boot and very comfortable. However, if you like to wear your pants tucked in and you happen to have wide calves, the Uggs Brooks Tall boot is not for you. Stick to the lower cut boots. ZAPPOS.COM will never guide you wrong, they tell the truth - no matter what.

Ugg Brooks - This is a more rugged boot with good traction and shock absorption than the Classic boots. It's definitely a warm boot, but the sheepskin is of a different type and not as soft. The top of the boot can be tight because it hits right at the calf level and not below the knee.
