I researched Uggs for over a year to determine which ones would be the best to buy for cold New England winters. I decided on the Ultra Talls for the luggie sole and a stylish look with the braid up the back, I love my chestnut ones! This was my first experience ordering from Zappos and I was beyond satisfied with their outstanding customer service! I would order from them again in a heartbeat and I've been recommending them to everyone for their holiday shopping.

Love these boots! Chicago winters are brutal and this past winter my toes were always the only part of my body that was not freezing. I'm an 8, but I read the reviews and ordered a size down and got a 7 and it fit perfectly. With socks or without socks there is no comparison for these boots. I wore them all winter long, never took them off, and I couldn't be happier with these boots. I would totally recommend them!

After trying several styles of Uggs I was about to buy the Classic Tall. A friend convinced me to try these and I am so glad I did! They are so much more comfortable and not quite as bulky as the Classics. The shearling lining seems thicker and whole boot seems a better quality than the others. I am usually a 7 or a 7 1/2 and a 7 in this style fits perfectly. Great boots and really worth the price and, of course, Zappos had all the colors available.

Too big. Great boots but they are one full size larger. If you are a size 8 or most 8.5, then get the size 7. The insides will mash down and even get larger the more you wear them. Some boots in the same sizes have different levels of sheep fur; I suggest you order a couple pairs of same size/boot and pick the one that fits best. Zappos will send a courtesy boot if you are unhappy or unsure of first pair.

So happy with my Ultra Talls! I have always wondered about what I would be getting if I got a pair of Uggs, and now I am so glad I tried them. They are amazingly comfortable, and are easy to walk in! Following the advice of previous reviews, I got a size down. I normally wear an 8, bought a size 7. Fits perfectly! I love that these have heavier treads, should do well in the weather. Love my new Uggs, Love Zappos!

I really like this boot. It's not as wide or floppy as the Ultimate or Classic. Works well with my narrow-ish feet and legs. I don't look too much like Frankenstein, even though I wear an 11! The sole is thicker and more substantial than on the Classic Ugg. They are nice and fuzzy inside; almost can't wait for winter!

Love it! I ordered a whole size smaller than I usually wear and it fits me perfectly. I would also recommend this for slightly wide feet. Comfy shoes. My feet are cozy in these boots.

Ugg ultra tall :) I have to admit that I'm addicted to Uggs! These boots are soooo comfortable and the quality is excellent. I've been collecting Uggs since 2001 so they're not a trend for me. I know they're not the cutest boots but they keep me warm and cozy throughout the harsh Michigan winters. If you don't own a pair try a pair on and you will be hooked for life, just like I am!

Warm, comfortable, fantastic boots! I wear an 8 – 8 1/2 and the size 8 fit me perfectly. I like the Ultras because there is a little arch support and the soles are better suited for the snow. My feet stay so warm, yet never sweaty. No socks necessary! Wonderful boots. I recommend getting the care kit.

Ugg Ultra Tall- Chocolate - These boots are wonderful! They're comfortable, warm and stylish. I especially like the detailing in the back and the fact that they have a heavier sole which makes them sturdier than traditional Uggs. These boots are true to size. I was told to order a size down in Uggs but ended up having to return them for my size because they were too small. They are narrower than traditional Uggs so I recommend ordering them in your regular size.

Great boots - I bought these for my daughter -- slightly larger than her shoe size to allow for growth and the ability to wear them next fall/winter/spring. She loves them -- her older sister has a pair and loves hers as well. They are definitely expensive, but "make" every outfit she wears them with. They are also super-warm and comfortable.

Stay Warm Without Sacrificing Style! These Ugg Ultra Tall boots are fabulous! The difference between these and regular tall uggs is that these have a stronger bottom, so they last a whole lot longer. The fur on the inside is soft and cozy. The fit of the boot is snug enough to wear without socks, but spacious enough to wear with them. However, if you are barely a 7, I would recommend getting the 6's. The suede on the outside is soft to the touch but durable through bumps and nicks. They look great worn over jeans, over sweats, over juicy track pants, of over tights under a dress. Amazingly versatile and comfortable. I do not regret purchasing these at all.

LUV those Uggs - My two daughters own two pairs of UGGs each which I purchased at Zappos. Uggs never really appealed to me until I experienced frost bitten toes at the Presidential Inauguration. My daughter’s Uggs kept their feet nice and toasty, while mine were freezing. Upon my return home, I visited an UGGs NY store and tried a few pair for sizing and that same night I went on Zappos and ordered my Ugg Ultra Tall. It's the most comfortable boot I've ever worn. I had to order a size down. No more frost bitten toes for me!

Love these Uggs! This style Uggs had a true gripping sole as opposed to the traditional soles which are ridged but still slick. I feel very secure walking daily in ice and snow here in MN. They are warm, comfy, cute and have great traction - everything you need in a winter boot.

Ugg Ultra Tall - I ordered these after my short original uggs died after 5 years of NY winters. I was excited about the heavier sole and taller leg shaft. These run MUCH smaller than I thought. I normally wear a size 6-6.5 in boots and sometimes smaller in heels, etc. I couldn’t even get my foot through the ankle part of the size 6, the 7 was very snug across the top of my foot at the ankle, so I ended up with a size 8. This style is narrower in the foot, but they are a bit heavier than the originals b/c of the thicker sole.

Ugg Ultra Tall - I have three different Ugg boots and these are by far the most comfortable. I have the Mayfair, Classic Tall and the Ultra Tall. These are the only ones that have arch support. I have to add an insole with arch support for the others. They are also narrower than the others. I also think they run true to size. I highly recommend these boots.

Love this winter boot! I love, love, love these Uggs, especially with all the ice and snow we have been having. They are so warm and cozy, even in really cold weather. I got the chocolate color and haven't had any issues with dye rubbing off on my legs or feet even when I wear them without socks. The arch support is better than regular Uggs but not great, so I added an orthotic underneath the UGG insoles. The boots are fairly fitted in the calf, which I like, because I can either tuck them into pants or wear pants over them. Plus, the braid on the back is so cute!!! I don't think I'd wear these year-round like the regular Uggs though, as the sole is definitely more suited for winter. Great boots, and as always, Zappos' service is the best.
