Ugg Christmas Gift - I purchased the Ugg Ultra Talls for my daughter for Christmas. After searching everywhere for a pair with no success, I tried the Zappos.com site and was pleased to see that not only were they available but they were quite a bit less expensive than in the stores. My daughter loved them. They were true to size. The only negative point was that they were a little snug at the top of the boot, but when she rolled them down about 2", they fit perfect. I will certainly continue shopping Zappos.com for other products. Thank you!

Ultra Tall - This boot is soooo comfy! A huge difference between this boot and the Ultimate Tall II boot (which I wasn't impressed with and sent back). The only draw back to this boot was the narrow toe area. I have owned my Classic Uggs for 8 years now and love the wide space, so I was disappointed when I tried on the Ultra's and felt how tight they were in the toe area. Needless to say I sent them back and I'm going to order a pair of the good ole Classics! On a positive note, the Ultra boots are much better quality then the Ultimate boots with regards to the wool inside.

Sizing - I love UGG's, always have, always will! However, I was unable to find my size for this boot (women's size 5) and had to go with a size 7, which I am swimming in. Come on you guys! For this kind of money you would think the boot would come any way you wanted it!

Comfy and Warm - I recently moved up north and had to find a good pair of boots to trek around in the snow. These have been wonderful. I can even get away with wearing a skirt with them. My feet stay warm and dry in these boots. Yes, they were expensive, but nothing beats having warm feet. My only complaint with these boots is that they don't come high enough on me. Zappos was great in getting them to me ASAP.

Ouch! But don't blame the people at Zappos! When I got these Uggs I was thrilled. I had waited so long to get them. I was even more excited because I saw that they were made in New Zealand. I am used to wearing my Uggs barefoot and when I put these on my first reaction was ouch! I guess it really doesn't matter where they are made, if production is rushed to meet demand. I thought it was just me but my daughter tried them on as well. Then we tried them on with socks, same problem, the back of our ankles waere rubbed raw where the stitching is. The sheepskin was shaved too close so that the stitching was exposed. The pair I got in new taupe had another problem, the stitching at the front of the ankle was so tight it puckered and also rubbed. There were loose threads on the inside of each pair as well as on the outside. I don't want Uggs so badly that I will settle for a different standard of quality than they used to have before the hype. If you plan on wearing them with socks they do stretch out to about half a size bigger so keep that in mind. Even if you wear Uggs without socks eventually they will also stretch out. I am disappointed because I have never had so many problems with Uggs. I have also had to return Sundance it’s because of the same problem, bad stitching and itchy, scratchy sheepskin. I am still looking for the pair that I won't feel on my feet. I know it is out there. Zappos is amazing. They ship overnight, they are wonderful on the phone and no matter how harried they are they are more than pleasant. I will continue to order from them forever. They get five stars for service.

I've lived in the classic shorts, but use these for casual dresses and when the snow is deep. Keep my feet really warm which is no small feat here. (Didn't intend the pun, btw.) They feel just a little small, but not so much that I wanted to send them back and risk them selling out. Now I'm eyeing other styles. Really great boots and customer service. Zappos rules!

Uggs Ultra Tall - The boots are very comfortable. The only issue that I have is that the glue is already coming away from the actual fabric.

Too big - I love these boots so much, however they are a little big. If I had it to do over again, I would have gotten a size smaller than I normally do. I still really love them though.

My old Brooks are in dire need of replacement. I wanted something trendy to use with leggings and skirts. I love that these are narrower from the shaft than the Ultimate Tall, and about an inch shorter. But I prefer the foot of the Ultimate. One more thing, the shearling seems cheap and fake compared to my two other pairs (couple of years older) of Uggs. Quality has definitely decreased; price has not. Search continues.

I like the classic uggs better! The soles on these uggs are very heavy and that makes them slip on the heel when I walk. I have to wear really heavy socks so this problem won't occur - and yes i got them a whole size smaller than I usually wear. They look nice and are well constructed. I like zappos but service hasn't been as great for me as in the past. I used to receive my order the next day but lately when I place an order I have to wait about 5 days.

This model is almost the same as the Ultimate Braid, with the exception of the opening which is smaller and more snug than the Ultimate. Provides a bit more foot support than regular Uggs, kinda chunky. Silicone water-proofed it, but the first stain to happen on the boot was a bit of raw egg white, which can't be removed.

I really wanted to love these boots like I do my other 4 pair of Ugg Classics but they just didn't work. I first ordered the same size as my classics, size 6, and they were too short. So I ordered the size 7 and they just are not comfortable, kind of make my feet feel crampy as soon as I start to walk in them. Also, I can tell that when they stretch they will be way too loose (had that happen with my first pair of Uggs). So sad, I wanted a pair with this type sole to wear when it's been snowing for the traction. Unfortunately I have to return these.

In my opinion, these boots run small. I wear a 7 and I should have ordered an 8. The width seems too narrow. I love Ugg but I would not order this style again.

They feel like they're way too big. I ordered them a half size smaller than my regular shoe size (I wear a 7-1/2 or an 8 and I ordered a 7) and they feel huge. I should have exchanged them.

I normally wear a size 8 in Uggs, but these boots were much larger than other Uggs that I have gotten. They also seem a bit looser through the calf than the Ugg Classic Tall. I've returned the size 8 and ordered a size 7. Hopefully, those boots will fit better!

Ugg Ultra Tall Boots - I didn't like the Ultra Tall as much as the classic. They weren't has comfortable nor as cute. I returned them.

Well, for a couple years I had the classic Ugg boot, and I liked them very much, so this year I decided it was time for a new pair. I got the ultra tall braid boot in black, sigh. First of all they are nice, but for the price I want my feet to feel warm and not so frozen my feet turn purple! My sister in law couldn't believe I got a pair, and on our recent trip to the store she was complaining how cold her feet were in her shoes I didn't dare say how cold mine were, so I just said nothing. I live in Iowa where during the winter months it snows quite a bit and after removing the boots for about 10 minutes then putting them back on to go outside again, the bottom of the boot is cold! Crazy for the price!

Last year I had the Classic UGG boots, and to this day. I wear them and my feet stay dry and very warm, so this year I got the Ultra Tall, and my feet get cold and wet, and they are very heavy. For hefty price you would think they'd be more well put together!

I bought these boots two years ago at a local Bootery that specializes in UGGS. I have 6 pairs of UGGs, these being one of the most expensive. At first I loved them and I wore them hard! Almost everyday the entire cold season which for us is at least 5 months. I also ordered a 7 when I normally wear and 8-8.5 in reg shoes/boots. These boots fit great when i first bought them but since I wore them just about everyday, they stretched out something awful. So now I walk on the sides and I hate that! You're not supposed to walk on the sides of your UGGs. So I really don't think these hold up as well. I have a pair of classic tall Chestnut that are going on 4 years old, I wear them a lot too and they still look great and are holding up! I treat my boots with spray when I start to wear them and when I put them away for the summer. I can't wear these anymore except in my house as a slipper boot.

Slippery. I have found these boots to be INCREDIBLY slippery. Unless I'm trudging through deep snow (in which case they get soaking wet regardless of waterproofing) I fall in any type of precipitation in Chicago. The traction is awful.

Gave them to a friend. They were huge!
