Loved the feel of this sandal, however, there is exposed footbed stitching which is uncomfortable if your toes hit it.

They are cute but Zappos only sent me ONE SANDAL! This is flippin crazy as to only get one sandal. Also, the one sandal I received was very narrow and the toe thing rubbed terribly. It's crazy to put only one sandal in the box. I haven't shopped at Zappos in a while but it may be a long while before I shop again based on the lack of quality control. In addition, way overpriced for what I got....one sandal!

I wish they were just a tad wider. Other wise really comfortable, great look.

Used to wear naot sandals years ago and forgot how comfortable they were . Decided to order this pair and they didn’t disappoint. Recommend to wear them around the house to loosen the leather a little before you take them on vacation. Love them.

Love the sophisticated style and comfort! I usually wear an 8 or 8 1/2 in American sizes, but need a 40 (size 9) in Naot although 39 is supposed to be equivalent to size 8.

This is a great summer look, but the leather did not have enough give for my bunion.

I really like these sandals. I need a pair of shoes for a three week European trip, and I think these will work really well. Style-wise they are casual but look nice enough to pass with a dress at dinnertime (which is good because we are packing light and I'll be taking these, flip flops for the beach, and one pair of tennis shoes). Comfort-wise, they feel better than slippers on my foot. They have a very comfortable foot bed. I did order two sizes though and the smaller one fit. The larger size rubbed me wrong on the arch. No matter; the smaller size fits great. Another nice thing about these sandals is that they don't flip off your foot at all. The high strap keeps them nice and tight against your foot. Great shoes. The strap around the big toe doesn't bother me at all. I kind of thought it would. Nope. So glad I discovered Naot. This is my first Naot pair but likely not my last!

These have to go back. The interior is very scratchy. I'd be willing to see if they wore-in, but I walked just across the office and they were slipping off. Not sure if I'd need a larger size, but not comfy enough to try. I'll stick with the Danskos I ordered.

I had these in both green and brown back in 2002 and loved them! When they wore out a few years later, I tried to replace them but they were no longer made. This year, Zappos has them in brown only, which I immediately bought and began wearing. They give just enough height to look good with trousers, but your feet are incredibly comfortable. I have back, knee and foot problems, and these sandals are a dream come true. I only wish there were more colors to choose from!

The fit was good and the footbed was very comfortable. The leather might wear in to be comfortable, but they were definitely going to rub a few blisters before that happened. I'm not willing to go through that. I really liked the style, so I was disappointed to have to send them back.

True to size, but the toe thong was sharp and uncomfortable. Need to return.

Beautiful dark brown leather, love the shape and height of the sole. I have to return because of discomfort with the toe thong.

Great arch support from the start and they look great. Just waiting for toe-hold leather to soften with wear.

These shoes are made of a stiffer leather. The leather on the toe ring was too rigid for me. I prefer shoes without toe rings but thought I would try it. Ordered two different pair and prefer the other pair so these will be returned.

The shoe is super comfortable when you need arch support or orthodics. My complaint is that the shoe is a bit heavy and after a full day of walking, my ankles started to hurt. i think if the shoe was lighter it wouldn't have been a problem for me.

About 20 years ago I bought my first pair of Naots, this style. The leather was soft and the comfort level was not to be believed. (I have an issue with shoes not being comfortable) Unfortunately, like many companies, I believe Naot is stating to cut corners in their materials. The black leather on this sandal is very stiff and while it may have softened up after a while, at this price that should be perfect at the get go. I am returning these and trying another style. I had a similar experience with another Naot style.

I so wanted to love these shoes after buying a pair of Naot slides that are heavenly. These shoes are so very stiff I’ve not been able to wear them for any length of time in the hopes of breaking them in. The seem to provide great support which is what I had hoped, but they are just too uncomfortable. N

It hurts my toe. It is not comfortable.

Arch does not sit correctly.

I think the leather was low quality, especially for the price. The edges were not smoothed. That being said, the fit was good in terms of width. I have a narrow foot with a low arch and many shoes are too loose. The foot bed was about 1/2 size shorter than Via Spigga, Ecco or Munro, my normal brands.

I just received my order.... which came to me quickly but the Euro size 37 is not an American size 6. I've always known that 35 = 5, 36 = 6, 37 = 7 and I'm sad that Zappos reported that a 37 is a 6 when it isn't. I'll return the shoe as it is too big for me.

I own several pairs of Naot sandals, which until this one I considered the best on the market. I have a pair in exactly the same style as this one, purchased more than 10 years ago, which is made with beautifully soft and worked leather. Since it's been well worn, I wanted another like it. This one fits, but the leather is tough, which makes the fit not pleasant. I could have worn them for a month indoors, to get them broken in, but for this price I'd like a sandal that I can wear pretty much as soon as I get it.

I love the style, but the shoes were too narrow.
