These looked good when I first put them on but as soon as I put weight on my feet, my skin looked squeezed between the straps which was astonishing to me as I do not have fat feet! Maybe the straps would loosen over time but I would not take that chance. Returned them. I must say, though, they did not look clunky. Was hoping to get these for lots of walking on vacation.

I love the look of this sandal. And I love the comfort of a thick sole. But the toe strap hurt, and I couldn't tolerate it.

These are good looking shoes. But the elastic on the instep strap does not work as it should. It would be better if it were adjustable. The sewing on the inside rubbed on my foot and gave me a blister. In addition, the strap is too big. For the amount of money, these shoes are simply okay.

Naot has awful quality control. This is the second pair of sandals I have ordered and had to send back. The straps are held onto the base of the shoe and on both pair, the glue was missing on some of the straps.

Not so hot! Put the squeeze on my wide feet. Showcased their unfortunate plumpness. Something fussy and ungainly, too, about the design, which wasn't visible online. I exchanged them for Naot Rome (same size) which fit perfectly and are simpler and more flattering.

I usually prefer a strap around my big toe and so I thought these sandals would be perfect. Sadly, they are far from perfect. The style is great but the sandal feels shorter than any other Naot shoes I have purchased in the same size and the strap around my big toe is too thick. The leather on that strap digs into the sensitive skin between my toes. Sadly, I must return them.

The good. The fit feels really good, not loose at all! The shoes feel like they are on very well and I'm not going to slide right out of them. The bad - These have a ridge all the way around them that isn't comfortable on the inside heel (where the strap meets the sole). I think if I wore them all day I would end up with little sores on the inside of my foot (again, where the strap meets the sole of the shoe). Because of this issue, these will have to go back. Too bad - such a great fit!

These are beautiful looking shoes! However, they are really, "off," proportionally. For instance, the toe strap is super wide. I can fit my entire thumb through the strap. With my toe in it! The strap is also positioned too close to the end of the shoe, which makes my toe look like its playing peek-a-boo out the end, and emphasized the extra room of the strap, as well as not being comfortable. I have thin feet and toes; but, not freakishly so. Additionally, The toe bed is angled a little too sharply. My fourth toe rested right on the stitching on the perimeter of the shoe and was very uncomfortable. Again, I have narrow feet, so this is out of the norm for me. I mostly wear medium width shoes and have no issues. Particularly with shoes with toe straps, which is why I prefer them. There are so many people raving about this shoe that I am wondering if I just got a lemon? Very appreciative of Zappos quick and easy returns.

I owned a pair of these sandals 10 years ago and wore them until they fell apart and the new ones I received are not at all the same. The leather is very thin and doesn't even feel like real leather. I am so disappointed.

i neeed to return these and have never done it before it is extremely difficult for me to get to the post office bc I work all day and we have one post office that is closed at 5 not open on Saturdays so I may be late in returning them; they do not fit unfortunately and I do not want another pair as it's too complicated with post office returns
so HOW DO I RETURN THE SHOES PLEASE?

So disappointed in these shoes. In the photos, the walnut leather looked rich and sturdy and slightly weathered, like a perfectly broken-in bomber jacket. When the shoes arrived, the leather was a kind of disgusting shade of brown, shiny and cheap-looking. The famous Naot footbed felt as comfortable and supportive as ever, but the toe ring was very painful. I thought I'd found my perfect summer shoes, but alas, back they go.

I love this sandal. It is very high quality leather with just the right size heel and arch support.
I am taking a trip soon where I will do plenty of walking and I know I made the right choice. I really like the interesting style of the criss-crossed leather on the top of the sandal. These are a little pricey for me but I think it is money well spent.

I normally buy Naot in a size 39. My feet are slightly wider than average and these sandals do not fit at all. I am so disappointed as they are just what I wanted. It is hard to rate because I know they are excellent shoes the rating system does not take fit into consideration; Zappos should add a rating category of "not applicable." Why doesn't Naot have half sizes? Or designated wider widths?

The strap wasn't finished properly and the raw edges rubbed my skin so hard when I tried the shoes on that I knew I'd have a terrible blister if I kept them. Disappointing in a sandal this expensive.
