Too high a heel for me, sorry to say, as this style is my fav.

My feet have changed over the past few years due to total knee replacement. I have worn Naot for years, as my history will tell. However, it seems the width M, no longer works for me in a size 40 which I have worn for years. I had hoped that these shoes since they were open toe and heel would work for me. They are too narrow as well and I had difficulty slipping my foot inside. After trying in the house for several days, I put them on the shelf and forgot to send them back prior to summer vacation. The other day I discovered them, and having not worn them, decided it would be good to return them since I cannot wear them. My feet simply do not fit into them. I therefore have no use for them and did not want to simply take them to a Thrift Shop. So, checking your refund policy, I realized it was best to return them. I have ordered several pairs of shoes over the past few weeks, finally getting the MaryJane Naot in the correct size. Two other new pairs are on the way. I surely hope they fit. I love Naot, especially the footbed feel and support, but it’s always hit and miss for sizing. I really wish they made shoes in NARROW width as a 39 is often a touch too short in length but fits in width, while the 40 is better in length but way to sloppy in width. Can’t win!

The top of the shoe went back so far that it hit my heels and rubbed there. I couldn't handle that feeling all day long. Also, I usually can wear any shoe size 9M, but this one felt like a 9N.

I always forget that Naot shoes run small and narrow. I would order these in a wide width if they were available, but alas, they are not.

Alas, I really wanted these to fit. Returned size 8 and ordered down a size because my usual size was too long. These are also too long. My heel lines up with the back of the sandal but my toes are still 2+ inches away from the top edge. Not sure what the problem is but these did not work for me..

Beautiful shoes but they squeak! very annoying.... :(

I wear an 8 1/2 in other shoes and a size 40 in Naot but the Rome was much more narrow and shorter than the other similar styles that I've ordered.

Nice looking shoe, but too narrow.

These are described as being for narrow to medium width, but they are way too narrow for my foot. I like the style and the arch support is excellent, so its too bad they don't fit my medium width foot. Naot makes very nice shoes, they are just for narrow feet.

Well...I really wanted these to work out. I tried 2 different sizes and the arch support is superb, but the shoe hurt both of my little toes. :( Super sad they didn't work out. Thank you Zappos, but this one just didn't make it.

In person this sandal seemed a whole lot more substantive than in the picture. My boyfriend said it looked like a clunky clog with small cut-outs in order to call it a sandal. The blue is a beautiful shade, but very shiny and therefore also looks big and heavy. Comfortable. Just not for me. Too industrial looking for the more delicate outfit I am trying to accessorize, and don't think it would be a wardrobe piece for me. Bought Jambu Romance Sandal in nude instead.

Attractive shoes. Disappointed they do not work for me as the insole is too firm.

These were not as comfortable for me as I had hoped. Really nice looking but felt tight on the top of my foot. Because of the high price of this shoe I did not want to take the chance that they would soften up enough to be comfortable so I am returning.

Quite plain, which is ok, but returning because the material squeaks when I walk...not willing to wander around to see if it disappears.

This is a really nice looking pair of shoes. I really wanted to love these shoes as much as my other Naots (6+ pairs) but there is just something different about them. First thing I noticed was that the workmanship wasn't up to what I've come to expect with Naot. The stiching near the heel was defective and the cork footbed was loose in back. So I sent them back. (Zappos was great as usual. )The replacement pair came and while the workmanship was fine, the sizing was off. The right shoe was a little short. The left one fit fine. Which is weird because my left foot is longer. The first pair didn't have this problem. Still trying to decide if I will keep them, try again, or give up.

I really wanted to love these slides - supportive, light and airy soles. But the inner seam was stiff and kept rubbing inward into the inside of my arch.

I bought these last week. The shoes are nice but they are very narrow. I will have to take them to my local shoe shop to get them stretched out but other than that they are okay.

I really loved these sandals when I first got them, but here's the problem: the opening at the front of the shoe (where the toes show) is too wide. This means that, as the leather stretches from wear, your foot starts to slide forward. Now my toes stick out when I'm walking on a slight downhill, or when I'm walking at a brisk pace. It's truly uncomfortable, not to mention ridiculous looking. And I have average width feet - this is not a narrow foot problem. With other slides, you'll see the opening tapers a bit towards the front: that's good, it's what keeps your foot in. As it is, sadly, I can only wear these when I'm lounging on the deck or patio. They're not for walking around, which is a shame, because the sole is extremely comfortable.

Very sad, lovely shoe, so cute but way too narrow! I have average feet, usually not a problem. Sad to say I have to return!

Very comfortable -- the suede footbed is especially nice. They look pretty good too.

I really wanted to like this shoe. Unfortunately, the fit was just not right. The left shoe pinched my big toe, and my heel just didn't feel comfortable in the foot bed. I have a medium width foot, size 9. Oh well, you win some, you lose some.
