I have only one thing to say. These sandals make me want to throw away all my other shoes. (Except for my Naot Advance shoe/boots -- I could get by with the Rome and the Advance. Those Advance boots, by the way, well, they rock with tights and a black cashmere dress...trust me.) And, well, I can never say only one thing: I wish I could buy a few more pairs, lest something happen to these. Lest Naot ceased production on them. I love them. I want to sleep with them on. They make me want to buy a plane ticket and go someplace exotic where I will wow the paparazzi because they will take one look at these sandals and think I'm someone. And I'd stand there smiling demurely because these shoes feel as I imagine baby clothes feel to a baby -- who wouldn't just love the fit and feel of a onesie? So soft, so enveloping, so comfortable. Why don't they make clothes like that for grown-ups? I would love to meet the designer of these sandals -- because they hit the jackpot. These are my sandals. Utterly. They hug my feet in the most delicious embrace. Love.

I really wanted to like these sandals as much as the other reviewers did. Although I ordered a half size up (40) they were much too narrow for my feet. While a normal 8.5 usually works for me, even with wider feet and high arches, this size 40 was much too tight a squeeze, width-wise, and my heel was at the very end of the foot pad. The final "must send these back to Zappos" is that the sides of my feet would stick out of the decorative half-moon cuts in the side. Not a flattering look. If you have wider feet or high arches, I would order a full size up in these well-made and stylish shoes.

Maybe not meant for someone with bunions or those in need of a widened toe box. They squeezed my little toe so much just walking around the house that I returned them. The rest of the shoe fit fine. Maybe breaking them in more would work, but I didn't think they were worth the price.

I ordered two pairs of Naot sandals, these and the Istanbul. I am actually planning on returning these. They were my favorite based on the photos, but they just don't look as good with a foot in them! I think they should have a picture with a foot. But they were comfy and true to size, just not as attractive as I had hoped. I did like that they were slip on.

Classic-looking sandals which will go well with slacks, jeans or a skirt. As for sizing, however, you need to be aware that unlike Mephisto, for example, which considers a size 40 to be equivalent to a size 10, Naot considers a size 41 to be equivalent to a size 10. So be careful when you are ordering; otherwise, you will end up sending all your shoes back as I have had to do as they are too large.

The shoe is very comfortable but the Naot quality is not in this show. The lining was already coming out of the footbed. Very disappointed.

I was looking for a comfortable summer shoe that I could walk all day in without pain. After reading previous reviews I thought this shoe can't be as comfortable as people said. I was wrong. The leather is as soft as butter, the shoe is supportive of my whole foot which is something I've been looking for. My feet are wide. I did indeed wear this shoe all day in hot muggy weather and my feet never once hurt. I liked this shoe so much that I bought another pair in the other color available, if it came in more colors I would buy them. I will also order other Naot footwear if they are all made as well as this shoe. I really appreciate being able to compare other peoples' ratings so I have an idea how a shoe fits.

Love these shoes! Very soft and comfortable on bare feet. I have narrow feet, and these fit nicely - not too loose. I also have high arches, and the arch support is good. Not great, but good enough. I haven't been able to test them yet on all-day walking, so not sure about that. I will definitely buy more Naot shoes in the future.

Looks just like the picture, with the comfy footbed of a Naot shoe, but not a good fit for my wide feet.

Honestly, I never realized that the right shoes could actually eliminate foot pain. I walked all over Egypt for a month this summer and never once did my feet hurt. I usually wear a 38 in open toed shoes but it felt tight when I got it and having been down the swollen feet/tight shoes path I traded them in for a 39 which was perfect. I knew they were great even before the trip so I bought both black and brown. I know I will wear these for years. U just purchased my winter shoes from Naot. The price is high, but I now know the meaning of "worth it."

I love these shoes! I bought both colors. This shoe runs true to size. I wear a size 8 1/2 and ordered the size 40 and they fit perfect. These shoes are very comfortable and the quality is excellent. Great shoes! You won't be disappointed.

Most comfortable shoe I own - I bought this pair of shoes over a year ago and I wear them every day. They're comfortable to walk in and dressy enough for work situations. I highly reccommend this shoe.

Amazing Comfort - These are quite possibly the most comfortable shoes that I've ever put on. And they look great, too! In fact, I was so crazy about these shoes from the moment I put them on that I came straight back to Zappos.com and ordered two more pair in different colors. I'm a Naot fan for life!

Having foot problems, I was looking for a shoe to wear around the house, these fit the bill. They are extremely comfortable and have the support I needed. You can also remove the footbed for your custom orthotics.

I love this wedge/slide. It ran a bit large but I was afraid to get a size smaller. It only comes in whole sizes. The color was also a bit darker than pictured but gorgeous. Zappos is great!

These are the most comfortable shoes in the world. This is my 4th pair of the same shoe. I have been wearing these for the past five years.

Noat puts comfort first! I love these shoes and I'm thinking of ordering another pair as a spare! Even thought they're alittle costly.

This is a great shoe. I have high arches and need a pretty stable shoe. I didn't think this style would work for me, but it does. Comfortable right out the box, no break in period needed. I am ordering a 2nd pair in brown. Naot shoes are the best!

These shoes are like walking into a dream. You really don't realize you have them on your feet. I have high arches, and these are supportive. I usually have to add a clear arch support insert even with shoes that state they have high arch support, but not with these! No need to break them in. I am now buying another style by this maker. I usually wear Dansko, but will like these better. Really love them!

Bought these shoes for a trip where I was doing a lot of walking. They were great! Very comfortable and not too clunky looking. Good arch support which I really need.

I like the Rome model because it is a sandal, but it still has a lot of coverage, so that it will be a good, sturdy everyday summer shoe.

Greatest Shoe Ever - I have this shoe in camel and black. This shoe is the best thing I have ever bought. I can walk straight and without pain when I wear this shoe. I purchased these shoes in Myrtle Beach, SC. I wish I could find a local store that sold these shoes.

These shoes are great and my orthotics fit in them perfectly, but my toes were too long and hit the edges weird making them uncomfortable, but otherwise a good fit. With the European sizing, I need a 43 (12) in Naots, but normally wear an 11 in most other brands. KUDOS TO ZAPPOS for the BEST customer service - they will really take care of a situation and work with you with no delays.
