Bought them for my cousin - My cousin has a terrible time finding shoes. She wears a size 12. I told her about Zappos and found these Dr. Martens and she loves them!

Great work boot - This is my fist pair of Docs they are comfortable. The insole is not up to par; to get the best feel it must be replaced. Over all they are great boots.

Comfortable and sharp - I have worn these in every possible environment and they make the change from office to workshop seamlessly. My only complaint is that after about one year of almost daily wearing, the upper sole has cracked on one boot...Would recommend highly to anyone!!

Very comfortable - I ordered these for work. I've never needed safety boots before so I was nervous ordering on line. They are very comfortable, felt good immediately. They were a little heavy at first but I got used to it very quickly. I have wide feet, they fit perfectly. They are cute enough to wear with jeans, they look like hiking boots.

Excellent Performance - - Comfortable - Rough - Strong

Great ankle support. Feels true to size but a bit narrow because of the steel toe. Insole cushioning could be better. No blisters out of the box.

Kitchen shoes - After many years of working in kitchens for long hours I needed some ankle support. I picked Dr. Martens for the support that the boot style had and the slip resistant soles that I know the brand has. It took a couple of days to break them in but they are doing great.

Great Work Boot - This is the most comfortable boot I have ever worn. This is my second pair. They last much longer than any of the other brands I have worn.

Wonderful - A wonderful boot. No break-in needed. And the support while standing on concrete is exceptional. Plus the color, shape, and design is attractive in apperance. Thanks Zappos.com for a great shoe.

Every day boot! I bought these boots as hiking boots- but now wear them to work (vet hospital) & on weekends no matter what. They are so comfortable & they keep my feet warm! I especially like the steel toe part as most of my shoes wear at the toes first. Absolutely great boot!

Good for Work boots- I usually wear a size 6 but I fit into a size 5 in these. Comfortable boot although the toes are a bit snug. I love the look and they are very attractive, yet appropriate for work...

Great boots!!! These are great boots, very comfortable. They're a bit heavy like all Docs, but you get used to it quickly. Very high quality leather and construction - they should last quite a lot longer than other boots I've had.

Excellent boot and superb service!! Let me first say what an awesome boots these are. I work 12 hour nights and not even 1 blister or sore feet. Usually with new shoes this will happen until they are broken in, well these need no break in time at all. They are a very nice boot as well. On to the service, what excellent service. I placed my order Sunday 1-8-06 and received my shoes 1-10-06 that morning. The lady that took my order was very nice and decided to give me 2nd day air at no charge "FREE". I will always buy my shoes from Zappos.com if buying online.

Sweet boots - These boots are really cool, they fit as advertised. I didn't realize that they were steel toes when I ordered them. They are heavy but are definitely comfortable. Plus they're Docs!!!

Gentle Giants - I chose these boots after an inordinate amount of research on OSHA regulations on boots with steel toes and gummed soles and then and equal amount of research on the long-term effects of standing (not walking) on concrete floors and the effects on ankles/knee/hip joints in males 35-65. With this criteria in mind the 8855 Industrial from Dr. Marten was the perfect boot. Further, the front tongue and back heel smoothly run a little further up the foot to cup around (rather than cover) the ankle bone to offer more freedom of mobility. It is ideal when operating heavy machinery, particularly when standing. This weighty boot offers a firm foundation when standing for long hours on concrete, gridded or diamond plated flooring or large machinery such as a "cherry picker." Because the sole is almost a full 1/3" wider all around than the base of the shoe, teetering left and right on the sole is safe and comfortable. The gum base offers a good stick. The leather is also simultaneously firm and supple with no breaking in period -- out of the box, on the feet, and at work on the warehouse floor the same day. Just looking at them made me want to load Velvet Underground on my iPod though?!?!

Great Office/Field Boot - This boot has the ability to look good, feel comfortable, and protect your feet. Great for in the office and field use.

Amazing boot! Best Doc I have ever owned. I wear docs 24/7 and these by far are the most comfortable. Moving forward, this is the only model I will wear. Enjoy!

love them! Love this boot, very comfortable. Feels about a half size too big, but with doc's I've become used to that.

Outstanding - Have worked in industrial type jobs for years. Have not yet found a boot with the style, comfort, and durability as this particular boot. Nor one that has lasted as long. 2 years and I finally have to buy a new pair. 2 years of heavy industrial use... even played basketball in these boots. Extremely comfortable with the air soles, and stylish enough to meet co-workers at a "nice" bar and grill after work. The only negative comment I have is, can't figure out if I should go with the bark color again, or black this time...hmmm

Great Motorcycle Boot - I wear these when riding my Harley and absolutely love them. They are extremely comfortable when walking around or riding. I have a Fat Boy with footboards and these boots are very easy to both shift and brake with. I would highly recommend them to anyone for motorcycling.

Good - Overall boot feels good, had to put gel innersoles in, now they feel a lot better.

Doc Martens always excellent - This is my fourth pair of Doc Martens. I can always wear Doc Martens all day from the first day. There is no break-in period. I can't say that about any other steel toe boot that I've worn and I've worn steel toes for 27 years of work. It's tough to find steel toe boots for women at all. The wonderful bonus is they are comfortable and great looking.

Dr Martens Womens 8855 Series - Comfortable, durable, feels good just what the doctor ordered.

On the seventh day Dr. Marten made "Grizzly" Seriously, if you have a job that requires you are on your feet all day you won't find a better shoe. The support of this shoe is everything you'll need and the steel toe front is a plus. This shoe is "THE" ideal work shoe and looks cool too! You get your monies worth as well, had my last pair for over two years...
