These are my first birks. I was looking for shoe that allowed me to walk a few miles comfortably but still looked cute and feminine. These are winners--much more feminine than traditional birk styles. I usually wear size 9 regular width shoes, so I was on the fence about which size to order. I ended up getting a 39 narrow, and they're perfect.

These are my favorite birkenstock. They are comfortable and I have them in 4 colors. I even wear them for 5 mile walks sometimes.

Really comfortable birken. It did take a few short walks to get my toes used to the shoe. After I got used to them I can wear these shoes on very long walks.

I've already reviewed these sandals once and gave them a high rating. They are so cute and love the way they look. But, the toe post is awful. I just can't get used to it and it kills my toes. I can see no way to modify the problem unless I wrap my toes in bandaids and even then it doesn't help much and looks pretty bad. I'm wondering why birkenstocks, known for their comfort sandals can't come up with a better solution to the toe post problem. I talked to Zappos and I'm not the only be with this complaint. If someone figures out a solution please let me know!

My daughter has trouble wearing flip flops. Birkenstocks provide extra support and a great alternative. Now onto her 4th pair!

This is my second pair of these sandals. Takes a few weeks of wear to start to break in but once they are broken in, they fit like a glove and are so comfortable.

Love these shoes and the patent leather adds that little bit of pretty.

Loved the color. I will be returning sandal was too large width was good. I won't be reordering because of the plastic that is used on the toe piece, very uncomfortable and cheapens the shoe

I love the design of these shoes. I have them in two colors.

I am typically a flip flop person, but was finding the need for a more supportive shoe. These were recommended to me and I decided to give them another shot. Overall, I am very happy with this purchase. FIT - I typically wear a size 37.5 and in whole sizes it is hit or miss if 37 or 38 will be the better fit (my feet are a bit wide). I initially purchased these in a size 38, but that was far too long. I exchanged for a 37 and while the width is a bit narrow for me the overall fit was much better. COMFORT - Birkenstocks seem to be known to have a terrible break in process, and these are no exception. Realistically... they hurt until they are broken in. Spend some time wearing them around the house before braving any longer outings. Once they get broken in, they are very comfortable and supportive. I can walk in these things all day and my feet, legs, and back don't bother me like they did in my flip flops. STYLE - I got these in the Golden Brown, which is pretty much a deep metallic bronze color. It is a really pretty color that looks nice with a number of colors. While overall Birkenstocks have a 'look' I think these are fairly versatile and don't have a problem wearing them with my more dress-casual attire.

These are really cute. What I like most is the style, not so much comfortable in my feet.

Still adjusting to the increased support the Birkenstock has, as opposed to foam thong sandals. But I like the arch support and the overall look. They can be worn super casual with shorts or yoga pants or with jeans or sundress. Looking to buy more birkenstocks in the future.

These sandals are comfortable right out of the box, with the exception of the piece between your toes. After wearing them a few times, it doesn't hurt, exactly, but I do notice that it has not been broken in. Other than that, they are extremely well made and durable. I will take the time to get used to the toe thing because I'll have these to wear daily for years to come. They are true to size. I wear a size 9 and have a very wide foot. These fit fine.

My second pair (not because the first pair wore out but because I wanted them in gray). Took a day or two to break in and then smooth sailing. Made extremely well and fits my arch nicely. My podiatrist said these sandals are a great choice when I'm not wearing my custom inserts in shoes.

I wear 8 1/2 in my running shoes so I ordered up and got a 39. As with all Birkenstocks, they need a little bit of breaking in. I'm happy with them. I would own a pair in every color and style if I could. :)

These sandals are almost the only shoes I wear these days. They quickly mold to your foot and are comfortable to wear even all day long. I have them in most colors and wouldn't be without them. As I live in Costa Rica part-time, I have 2 pair of most colors I like so I don't have to pack them!

I wear a size 7 and first ordered the corresponding number size that went with 7-7.5 and they were too big. A couple years later I went back and ordered the 6-6.5 and the fit is perfect! I have serious trouble with PF and foot pain in general so I'm looking for a shoe that will be kind to my feet. I also knew there would be a break in period. I've been wearing them around the house like slippers for several weeks now and they're getting there. Disneyland is three days from now so the ultimate test will be park days! Super cute and stylish!

I am not exaggerating when I say that these sandals are one of the best purchases of my life. I've worn them into the ground, and they continue to be comfortable for long walks, traveling, etc. At first they were a bit stiff, but within a few wears they started to feel broken in. I love that this specific style of Birks looks nice enough to wear with slightly dressier looks, like dresses and skirts while traveling. I even wore them with cropped pants my business casual office. As far as comfortable and stylish walking sandals go, I have yet to find one that comes close to rivaling this pair. After two years of wearing these constantly, I just bought another style that includes an ankle strap, and can't wait to hear how they compare!

OK, so after wearing these for a week or so, I have the feeling I'm going to regret the purchase. They aren't as comfortable as I expected, but the color is cute and the style on trend. Just not convinced they were worth the sticker price, but now that I've worn them, I'm stuck.

Let me start by saying, I do love the Birkenstock brand. I'm a little confused on what to say about my black pair sizing. I returned my 1st pair due to size to big. Now I have 2nd pair and still feel they are to big. I do not want to go through another return. So I will try to hope I get use to them. I purchase a brown pair that fit like a glove.

These have such a classic Birkenstock look but with a little flair! So versatile for the spring & summer. Cute & feminine but also COMFY.
