These are really cute sandals. I bought them in golden brown, pretty color with a nice sheen. I'm an 8, so initially bought a 38, but they were huge! I returned for a 37, and it's s perfect fit. This is my first pair of Birkenstocks- to be honest, the classic style was not attractive to me, but this style is very attractive and feminine

These shoes ned to be broken in like all Birkenstocks, but once they are they are a dream to wear. I ordered the metallic navy blue and it is so pretty, I get many compliments on them and have been wearing them everywhere!

I'm not usually a Birkenstock person, but I needed some sandals that would work for vacation and all the walking I would need to do with kids (in other words, NOT the flip flops or espadrilles I would have worn pre-kids!). These were fairly comfortable and worked well for a decent amount of waking. I had to break them in a bit, and like all Birkenstocks, the sole isn't cushy. But they look pretty cute for comfortable, wide-foot accommodating, flat sandals with arch support!

Always buy the shoes! Especially if it is Birkenstock! If you don't own a pair yet, your feet are missing out on comfort and ease. My 5th pair and I always size down. I'm a true size 8 and wear Birkenstock in a 38.

I bought these for my 11 year old daughter who is a total running shoe kid. She LOVES them. Perfect for super casual or slightly dressy. I know they are expensive but I would rather invest in one pair she LOVES than spend $40 on several pair she rarely wants to wear.

These were my first pair of Birkenstocks. I chose them over the Arizona as I liked the look better, however the Arizona blow these out of the water as far as comfort is concerned. I now own two Arizonas and hardly wear these.

Two things...this is my first pair of Birkenstocks, so I wasn't sure what size to order, or what exactly the fit would be like. I found that the sizing ran large. I normally wear a size 7.5 which translates to a size 38 here, I had to exchange for a size 37 due to the way the sole are constructed with the support. The size 37 fit great! I have never wore shoes with cork soles...this will take some getting used to for those of you like me. They are very hard, and after the first day of wear the bottoms of my feet were bruised. However I know once they are broken in they will be great.

I love these sandals. I wore Birkenstocks in high school but hadn't gotten any since they became cool again a few years ago. Then I developed persistent plantar fasciitis and was nearly relegated to a flip-flop-free summer. My sister recommended I try the Gizeh style, and I adore them. They're stylish and comfortable. In fact, they're so comfy that sometimes I forget that I'm wearing a shoe that actually looks nice. I wear a women's 11, wide. Usually I'd order size 42. Following previous reviewers' advice to size down, I initially ordered the 41. When I put them on, the footbed fit perfectly. Dreamy. But then I noticed that my toes were hitting the front "curb" of the shoe. I decided to order the 42. The initial fit wasn't quite as dreamy, but my toes didn't hit the curb in the 42. I figured that Birks take a few days to wear in, and that my footbed was more likely to shape the shoe than my toes hitting the curb, so I opted to keep the 42s. A week and a half in, and I can say I made the right call. The footbed is super comfortable, my toes don't hit the front curb, and my feet feel great.

As a wedding planner I've waited for Birks to come back into style for quite some time. Just as I remembered them, super comfy and worth every penny. So glad to own these bad boys!

This shoe seems a little narrower than the usual Birkenstock fit that I am use to, when ordering a medium width. The toe leather slide seemed rather low and too tight so I am returning them.

Looks really cute on. Feels a little bulky/tight at the toe at first but adjusts quickly.

I absolutely love the look of these, but they were just not comfortable at all on my feet. The plastic thong was hard and uncomfortable. I'm sure if it was made out of leather or the same material as the rest of the sandal, they would have been great. I returned these and tried the Birkenstock Mayari instead. The Mayari look nice and are super comfortable. I broke them in within a day of wearing them.

For those with sizing questions: I am anywhere from an 8.5 (Merrell) to a 10 (Brooks). I wear a 40 in Danskos. The 39 in Birkenstocks fit me perfectly. I think it's pretty common to wear one size smaller in Birkenstocks than you do in Danskos.

These are my first pair of Birks and I LOVE THEM. They took maybe about 3 wears to break in and now they are heaven on my feet. Stylish, comfortable, perfect. I went with the regular width in the 38 and they fit my 7.5 size feet perfectly. I do have bunions so the regular width was ideal.

These are super cute in silver. They are perfect for my summer vacation!

this is my third pair of gizeh's and once again, totally worth the price. the onyx color is a great mix of grey/black and goes with anything. it does take a couple of days to wear them in but nothing painful. love birkenstocks!

Love my birkis! My I always need good support and these sandals are the best! I love the matte black. Put them on a few days ago and I haven't taken them off! I did size down for the best fit!

I really love the look of this sandal. It's Birkenstock so you know it's comfortable foot bed is on point. With the particular style, however, the plastic thong in between my toes is a tad uncomfortable. I am hoping that over time and as I break these in, it will get better. Let's see. But other than that, the color and style is exactly what I expect from Birkenstock.

As tends to be the case w Birkenstocks, a little rough to break in, but once they are, super comfortable. My new go-to casual sandals for the summer.

I'm so happy with this purchase. This is my first pair of Birkenstocks. I broke them while we were on vacation where we did lots of walking. There was one day where we did tons of walking and it resulted in the slightest bit of discomfort the next day, but ever since then they've felt like they were molded for my feet!

These are my first pair of Birkenstocks and I love them. I have a very narrow foot and ordered both the narrow and the regular width shoes. For this particular style, the regular width was actually better, since I like my foot comfortably in the foot bed. If you prefer a more snug fit, and your foot is narrow, go for the narrow style. I wore these around Europe and my feet never hurt. Win!
