I buy a pair of silver Gizehs every year or two. Unfortunately, the cork cracks where the shoe flexes after about a year. I am careful to never let them get wet. I love these sandals though, so I will keep buying them. This year I did get the Birkenstock care kit to see if that will help with the cracking problem. I do wish Birkenstock would bring back the silver pebbled leather version.

I love these shoes. The go with everything and are so comfortable with just the right amount of support. I can wear them all day long and still feel great. They are cute enough to wear with a casual dress or I can wear them with jeans. Great shoes!

This shoe was huge! And the color is sparkly and not what I expected. As other reviewers have mentioned the plastic piece is very hard and uncomfortable. I won't reorder in the correct size.

Third pair - love em. Minimal break in period. Not your Daddy’s birks.

I normally wear 6.5 wide in most shoes, but size 37 was way too long and yet the width was too narrow even though I got the wide. I wanted to like these because they are more attractive than the Arizonas, but the fit was just too long and narrow. I ended up buying Arizonas in 36 and they were perfect.

Loved the look of the shoes and the color of the toffee straps. I am new to birkenstocks and are playing around with them due to self diagnosed plantar's fasciitis. Difficulties on my part personally are really wide and thick feet (kind of like Fred Flintstone!). I often have issues with straps that go across the foot by the ankle (I tried the mayara's and had to return them because of this). I had hoped that these ones would be a little longer as they appear to be a little more unisex in design. Unfortunately, the buckled strap was not long enough for my thick foot :( . As far as the fit and such, it felt like the shoe was wide enough for my foot (got the medium width), and the foot bed seemed to be the right size (42's-I wear a size 11 in women's). It's just the darn strap was too short for me, but I knew this was a possibility going in. I would say if you have "normal" feet, these would be great for you.

Absolutely love them!! I was starting to get plantar fasciitis pain after wearing very flat sandals for a few weeks. I went back and forth for a while because I was not planning on spending that time of money, but in the end it was well worth it! Took a very short while to break them in, but they are now so comfy! And no more foot pain!!! Those are all I want to wear! Planning on getting a different style just to wear around the house as slippers to help with the plantar fasciitis pain.

I LOVE these shoes. So comfortable. This is my second pair; I do think the metallic silver took longer to stretch/conform to me but that’s a small point. I have wide feet so I wish they came a little wider but they are great. I wear them at work and my feet are not in pain at the end of the day. I don’t have an issue with the plastic toe part but I do wear them daily so am really used to them. I’m an 8 usually but wear a 37 in birks.

Love the shoes and how comfortable they are for walking around. I recommend treating the cork, so they last even longer.

I really love these shoes but wished they had been available in "wide" since the regular width feels a little narrower than marked. Other than this issue the shoes are great as Birkenstocks usually are.

I have been wearing birkenstocks for ten years since i had a foot fracture. My podiatrist recommended i keep wearing them until my foot heals especially that i have a very high arch. I wear mary jane birkis and the felt softbed birkinstocks in winter. I just bought those gizeh and a word of caution, they take at least two weeks to break in. It took two weeks to get used to the not so soft thong part and the toes part especially but they gradually molded to my feet. I had to wear folded socks to break them in initially and only an hour a day then increased time.

Very comfortable & affordable - would definitely buy again!

I am a life long Birkenstock customer and have been really happy with their ability to create more modern stylish sandals. I have two pairs of these. The first pair lasted me three years (worn everyday in summer and most of fall). They finally wore down so I ordered a 2nd pair. Get tons of compliments! These are especially fantastic if you have wide feet.

These are excellent shoes, very comfortable and stylish. I wear a men’s size 9 and the 41 fits just perfect. I love the design, I wear them on casual settings and they go with nice with jeans or shorts.

Having plantar fasciitis these sandals are supportive for my high instep and heels. They are not as clunky looking as traditional style of Birks. This is my first pair and so far think they are worth the money. I have worn them 3 days in a row so far and feet are not achy after working in a clinic all day on my feet! Sean, a customer service rep, emailed me and helped me with an exchange for a smaller size ( I am usually a size 8.5-9, but 40 was too big and he exchanged them for a 39 which was perfect!). Great customer service! Returning the bigger sandals was a breeze at the ups store! So happy with these sandals and how Zappos does business!

The size was much larger than i had expected, including the width. I am going to try a size down and hope for the best!

I’ve been wearing Birkenstocks for a lot of years. This is my the second pair of Gizeh’s. They aren’t the most comfortable style due to the plastic piece between the toe. With that being said, I couldn’t resist the silver metallic color! They’re super cute and I’m glad to have them.

I never thought of birkenstocks to be all that comfortable and this style wasn't so nice looking. The thong/toe part is very stiff and cut into my toes plus I felt like I was clenching my toes to keep the sandals on my feet. I sent them back because I can definitely find shoes that are nicer looking and comfortable as well. Not worth the price either. I would rather go with the 2 strap birkenstocks then the toe sandal

I have been wearing this style of Birks for several years and currently have three other pair in my closet. These are SOOO narrow compared to the others. I am not sure if they are mis-marked as a regular, when it is really a narrow, but they see going back. Too bad, I love the dark bronze color.

Dressier than most birks with the patent. I usually wear a size 8 and the 37 fit me.

I have always hated (yes hated) the way Birkenstocks look but I saw this style on someone else and really liked the look. Everyone raves about how comfortable these are so I bit the bullet and bought a pair. So far these things are torture chambers - ouch! I have a feeling it’s the arch. I have high arches and because these have good arch support, things aren’t lining up. After wearing them for a couple of hours I could barely walk. I’m hoping I can break them in. I used to have a pair of sandals years ago with similar arches and I initially had the same problem. Hoping for a transformation in how these wear. They are super cute. I’ll wear them a little everyday. If it doesn’t get any better I guess they are going to charity or to a friend with the same size.

I love this shoe, but sizing was tricky. I usually wear 8.5/9 and ended up in a 39. My feet are pretty narrow, but the narrow really didn't work. They are taking a bit of time to break in, but definitely starting to feel very comfortable. Love the style.
