I love these shoes!! They are my second pair and I’d be lost without them.

Cute and extremely comfortable!

Although I liked the style of the Birkenstock Gizeh, I found it too narrow and had to return it to Zappos. I bought a Mephisto Helen Plus instead and am happy with that as it is wider .

All these years I have heard how great these shoes were, and I finally bought a pair. They are super comfortable, and even look pretty good. I wear a 9.5 narrow or super slim and have such a hard time finding sandals that fit. The 40 narrow fit perfectly.

This is my third pair of this shoe. They look stylish and fit great and make walking a dream. I love the black patent, but there is a little break in to the shoe basically due to the fact that it is not real leather, but its a one time deal, usually the first time you wear them. My feet get rejuvenated over the summer, because I get to wear these amazing shoes. Thank you Zappos for carrying them!

I ordered the narrow even though I usually order normal width because that’s all that was available and my foot is on the narrower side of normal. The toe area was a bit uncomfortable at first but eased up after a few wears. I ordered a 42, which is an 11-11.5. It definitely ran closer to an 11. My toes are toward the edge, but I really like the comfort and casual style for a “kicking around” shoe, so I kept them and am happy with the purchase.

These seem to be very popular and more of a fashionable Birkenstock. Lots of Birkenstock reviews will tell you that a “narrow” width is more of a normal women’s width but I found it a touch narrow for my feet (that tend to be narrow!). I wear an 8.5 and tried both the narrow and regular and found the narrow too narrow in that my end toes hung off. I would have to go up from a 39 in order to wear the narrow but the 39 regular was too loose and clunky. The silver color was darker than I expected, not a light shimmery silver. Ultimately I returned both sizes but am considering trying a 40 narrow in the white as they’re so cute when I see them on other people!

Other than a bit of rubbing between the toes to break them in, they are very comfortable and should be good for longing walking days. They are a bi heavier than I expected but I quickly forgot bout that once I got used to them.

I agree with the other reviews regarding the break in period. It takes some getting used to. The plastic between the toes is a rude awakening, at first. Size runs approximately 1 size long but true to width. Really cute style and colors but you have to be patient with the break in time. 5-6 wears or so to begin feeling comfy.

wanted to love them but hurt between my toes

I am a standard 8 and ordered the 39 as I usually do in European sizes. It is way too big. . I am re-ordering a 38. But even too large, it is cute and I can tell will be wonderful in my size. I got it in the white patent which is pretty and a little dressy

I LOVE the look of these. I am going to keep the size I purchased (39, and I’m an 8 - 8 1/2). However, I felt as though I’m in between sizes. These felt slightly large, but I felt as though if I went down to the 38 they would be too small. That is my only complaint. I love the look. They’re comfortable. I noticed they felt much better if I tightened the straps.

My feet are still getting used to having support from a sandal (compared to cheap flip-flops), so give it some time to break in the shoe. I'm between 7.5-8 US size, on the wider side, and was swimming in the 39 regular width that I ordered first. Exchanging for the 38 regular width was easy, and they fit great (not much room width-wise, but that's not unusual for me).

This sandal runs really big! I am a size 7 sometimes a 7.5 and ordered the 38- it was huge! Returning for a 37 even thought there is no way I am a size 6-6.5.

Durability and comfort.

Was very uncomfortable for me. I have the Arizona style in Soft Footbed and love them, unfortunately these are not the same. First, they were like half size bigger (I’m 38 narrow) which I didn’t mind, but I didn’t like that the buckle in this Gizeh Black Patent is not real metal. Found them very uncomfortable to walk in even when I tryed tightening the buckle, the pump for the toes hurt me and I was getting a blister were my arch in less then 30 min, I guess my feet are too sensitive for the NOT Soft Footbed. But definitely returned them.

I absolutely this shoe. My arches are high and I have an over-pronation when I run so I love that these shoes offer my feet support the rest of the day. Overall I gave them a five, comfort I gave a four. The footbed is not cushy, so if you’re standing and walking in them all day like I have, your feet might be a little sore. I wear a 6.5 in regular sandals and had to get 5.5 in these (you heel is supposed to fit back in the deep heelbed). Great purchase, it took me a week of wearing them all day for them to feel broken in and now they have conformed to my feet. I bought a second pair already- someone stop me! ??

Cute style. Great color. Fabulous support. But the thing between the toes is hard plastic and irritated my feet, so these are going back. Going to stick with my usual 2 strap Birks.

They were one size too small

Gorgeous and super comfy!! I have high arches and these provide excellent arch support. Such a pretty color too!!

This is my 3rd pair of Gizeh but my first in Birko-Flor which I love, it's soft and comfortable. I also liked suede but regular leather didn't hold its shape as well and was less comfortable than the Birko-flor for me. I was looking for brown & was worried "Golden Brown" would be too metallic but it's not at all - it's really just brown with a subtle sheen. Perfect! Even though I normally wear a 8-8.5 AA I wear size 38 in these and other Birkenstock sandals. "Narrow" is not truly narrow, but these sandals are fine for narrow feet, especially since the strap is adjustable. The cork sole is kind of hard at first but eventually soften and conform to your foot, making them the most comfortable shoes I own. I could stand or walk in these all day without my feet getting tired. The thong doesn't bother me at all unless I wear them many days in a row, just like other thong shoes. Love them.

These are the most comfortable sandals! I wear them all the time and will definitely get more! I got the pearly white color and it’s perfect.
