Overall a good sandal - I've had a pair of these for years, but hardly wore them because the thong rubbed my toe so badly. I took them to my shoe repair guy, who put a piece of soft leather around the thong. Now they're quite comfortable and I'm ordering another pair.

Great sandals! I just got these in the mail. As usual I received them extremely fast... yay! for Zappos free shipping! Once summer hits I wear sandals everyday, so I wanted to get a good quality pair. These are not only cute, but extremely comfortable. Would recommend to everyone!

Very comfy - Love them. They do run a half size bigger.

Very cute but take some getting used to. I'm still getting used to the piece between the toes, but I don't wear flip-flops, so I wasn't very accustomed to that style of sandal. I love how they look though.

Possibly the most comfortable thong sandals ever. The thong irritated my toes at first (this usually happens with any thong sandals I wear) wear. Now, these are staples in my casual wardrobe. I'd like to get other colors. These are really good if you're trying to get away from non supportive flip-flops like me.

LOVE THEM! I have never had a sandal that is so comfortable and these look good with just about anything! I also have these in the light blue, which I also like. I'm usually a 9 in US sizes, but I went with a 39 instead of a 40 because the 40 is a bit large. I might have even tried a 38 though. Overall, a great buy!

Black Birkenstocks - I received an orange pair of these as a gift from Germany and I loved them so much I looked to see if Zappos had them in black. Sure enough they did and I am thrilled with them. They are the most comfortable Birkenstocks I have ever worn and I have worn plenty of them.

It is so good!!! First, when I got it, I thought it too big for me. But when I wear it, it feels so good and fit, although it looks tomboy. It is so good for summer.

First time Birk wearer pleased - Just received these sandals, they arrived within 24 hours of ordering with the free overnight shipping. I've had shin splints for 2 weeks and bought new running shoes but needed sandals with good arch support so I ordered these and I am excited to wear these and hope they'll help in my recovery. I usually wear an 8-8.5 but ordered a 38 and they fit perfectly. And the rubber between the toes won't be a problem if you're used to thong sandals. I'm glad I found a pair of comfy yet very cute sandals for summer!

I love these sandals. I had them in another color and wanted them in white also. 36 fits me perfectly and I could wear them all day. I get many compliments on these.

Beautiful Sandal - Looks great on my feet, very graceful & feminine looking for a Birki. May take awhile to get used to the between toe strap-as it's a rubber material-not leather like I'd hoped-and is thicker-so if you're used to wearing robber thongs allot, no problem. But will take my toes awhile to adjust.

Birkenstocks - I LOVE Birks. I have trouble with my feet, and these are the only shoes I can wear in comfort. I bought these for summer wear and look forward to bringing them out when the weather warms up. Birkenstocks run big, so I had to go down a size.

Most comfortable sandal ever - I own three pairs in different colors and have had them resoled many times. When they finally died, I was thrilled to discover my new pair fit like a glove right out of the box. I have back trouble and these shoes help tremendously while looking very nice. I get lots of compliments.

GO Gizeh! I got tons of compliments from people who said- "OH they don't look like typical Birkenstock- HOW GREAT!" I have a narrow foot and they fit well (and even have another hole to buckle if I ever need them tighter)! And I love Zappos- they make shopping SO EASY!

Birkenstock's Gizeh - The white Gizeh is a great sandal for the summer, not only does it look great but it is extremely comfortable.

Birkenstock's Gizeh - I first purchased a pair of these shoes in Germany 6 years ago. I have worn them nearly every day during warm weather. They are still in good condition and offer very good support for walking. It was recommended to me at that time to soak the shoes and wear them wet until they mold to my foot. I found this to be very good advice as they are quite stiff and take some time to break in otherwise. My recent purchase at Zappos was because I wanted another color. I wear a size 7 1/2 M and the recommended European size 38 was too large. I returned them in exchange for size 37 which is perfect. The return process was handled quickly, efficiently and courteously. Kudos to Zappos.

Pleased - The sandals are very nice looking and comfortable. They take just a small amount of time to get use to because of all the pressure points the shoe gives to your foot. I have plantar fasciitis and this sandal gives me much relief from the pain and I get lots of compliments on them.

Birkenstock’s with "Style" I wanted Birkenstock's legendary comfort but couldn't get past the dowdy style until I saw a friend wearing the Gizeh sandals. I bought them in a groovy paisley floral and get tons of compliments.

Great Purchase! Great looking, comfortable sandal. A bit risky for me, but am so glad I purchased them! Not so sure I won’t have them in another color before long!

Ooh la la - I have owned a couple of pairs of Birkenstocks in my lifetime - particularly I have had a pair of Gizeh's before (which I love love loved even after they melted on the back steps in 120F sunshine). I wore them everywhere and with everything. I bought this new replacement pair of Gizeh's in Calendula and I cannot convey just how breathtaking they are. The color is amazing and ever so delicious. I heart these shoes.

I love my Birks - I love my Birks! They are so comfortable and I get many compliments. People can't believe their Birks.

So cute... but a for a price. I have the Gizah in black, and they are really lovely to look at. They look great with jeans or a skirt. But man, oh man... the rubber thong is a killah. The thong has left the spots between my toes shredded after a couple of months of trying to break them in to no avail. Try the Wolky Serenity... I love that shoe.

My Favorite Sandal - This is my 6th pair of Gizeh. I have no problem breaking them in and I can walk for hours in them. I get more compliments when I wear them than any other sandal. I may have to get a pair in every color! They give me wonderful arch support and they are quite stylish as well I generally wear a size 6/7 depending on the shoe but I do wear a 36 in Birkenstock. Not sure why that is but they fit perfectly.

Comfortable yet stylish - I have been wearing this shoe for about 6 years now and look forward to adding new colors to my collection.

Great look, but totally uncomfortable - LOVE the look of this sandal, but it has a fatal flaw: the hard plastic thong between the toes...
