Got these today and I immediately knew the hard plastic between toes will never give, very uncomfortable

I LOVE my Birks- especially the Gizeh Bioko-Flor. This is my second pair. My first pair I bought 6 years ago and toured the US and Europe in. They are still comfy and wearable but the cork base is showing some wear at the toes so it seemed wise to get a new "long distance" pair. My original pair gets lots of use still around town!

Size as expected from Birkenstocks… I was surprised that they came without a box and were shipped in a plastic bag.

I love the look of the brushed silver. They are fairly comfortable on the first wear!. I like the protective sides and especailly at the toe.

I have developed old lady feet, and wearing flip flops in my super hot desert climate won’t work anymore. I can wear these all day and my feet feel so much better!!

These are the BEST shoes! So comfortable. When you first put them on, you’ll say no way! But then….the most comfortable shoes ever. I wear them everywhere! On walks, to the stores, restaurants…dress up, dress down! Can be worn everywhere!! And the colors…available in every color! I have so many pairs!!

I love Birkenstock. These are my third pair. The leather strap is soft and adjustable. (Though on this pair, the strap holes aren’t even on both sides. A barely noticeable flaw). The arch support is not as high as my foot needs but it’s SO much better than other flip flops. I wear these everywhere (except to work). I do recommend you treat them with cork glue to help protect the corking from wet weather. This will extend life of shoes by years.

I love the style of this shoe for its versatility. It looks great with shorts, dresses, skirts and jeans. I also needed something that I could comfortably walk miles in while on holiday, and this shoe didn’t let me down.

They take a minute to break in, but are amazing afterward. My go-to daily shoe for the summer.

I wear between a 6.5 and 7. I bought the size 37 (6-6.5) and it may be a little small but I'm hoping it will loosen up as they break in. The break in period is definitely long on these and I have to pace myself wearing them. The support is appealing and I know it will be good for my feet in the long run. The onyx color is a steel blue grey and very lovely. I look forward to these becoming my favorite summer footwear.

Could not get the sizing on these right. I normally wear a US 10 and am almost always an EU 41. Order these in 42,41, and 40, based on reviews. 41 was loose even on tightest setting. Size 40 felt nice and snug but was like a millimeter too short. That won’t work with Birks. Unfortunately, I’ll have to return all 3

I’m in love ??. The toe part takes a little getting used to but it’s so cute.

I first tried the narrow size 40 which seemed both too short and narrow, even though I usually can fit in a 9 or 9.5 narrow shoe. This is my first Birkenstock shoes, and Zappos gladly replaced the 40 narrow with the standard width. Now the shoes seem just the right fit. Hopefully they will continue to give relief for my plantar fasciitis. Thanks!

Fit seemed ok but the plastic piece between my toes was terribly uncomfortable and I knew I'd never get used to it. My daughter has these and loves them, and they look really cute. I love Birckenstocks but these didn't work.

Such comfortable shoes! Just ordered a second pair in a different color.?

I love these and ordered the size suggested, 37, based on my foot size (6.5 wide). Apparently, I have very long toes and so they would bump on the front lip of the shoe making walking truly uncomfortable. I did not see how breaking them in would change the issue, so am trying the next size up (38) to see if that size will work. Crossing my fingers!

Great, comfortable birks!

This is my third pair of the same shoe, and I have loved everyone of them! So comfortable. True to size and width. I am a average to narrow width. I bought a size 41, and in running shoes I am a 10.5

These shoes fit perfectly and are very comfortable!

The shoe is so comfortable, however on this pair there is glue residue on each shoe on the top. One is underneath and would rub and be uncomfortable to wear. I have bought another pair, and I am returning this pair due to poor workmanship/defective.

Fit was perfect. Received in good timing. Zappos always delivers…

Along with these shoes being a used/return pair the toe post was very uncomfortable. I was disappointed & sent them back!

I was excited to received this but it’s full size bigger. Im waiting for the replacement and will update my review

This is my second pair of Gizehs and they’re my new favorite style from Birkenstock. I was a bit worried about the plastic toe piece but it’s very comfortable. I also have other styles in the Birko-flor material and it’s really soft (no “break in” period needed). And of course, the support of the sole is fantastic!
