The sandal ran too narrow although ordered a regular width. Can’t believe it’s too narrow Birkenstock is a brand that has the reputation of being so very wide. The length was fine a great looking sandal but too narrow, returning for a wider style.

I adore these. I'm a true size 8 and the 39 were a perfect fit. After a two day break in period, they are very comfy and look good too. My first pair of Birks but won't be the last.

Bought these for my 12 year old daughter. She had two other Gizeh in the past but this is the first year of getting a woman's size. The thong is uncomfortable between the toes at first! There is a break in period. Just keep that in mind....

Great sandal! However, the sizing chart for Birkenstock is WAY off. I'm an 8.5 women's, which tells me to order a 39. This is 2 sizes too big. I returned for a 37. I ran into this a few years ago with my first pair of Birks, thought it was just a fluke with that particular style. Order a size or 2 down!

I really love these shoes. The fit is great. However, the quality is not quite up to the brand’s par. The soles wore down to the cork after wearing them for about a month or so. I’ve been buying Birkenstocks for nearly 30 years and I’ve never had this problem. Zappos customer service was great about the issue, though.

I put these on as soon as they came in the mail and immediately loved them! Perfect fit, really cute and extremely comfortable!

I typically wear a 7 or 7 1/2 but I ordered a 37 and they fit. I ordered a 38 in another style of Birkenstocks and they were slightly big. While I like the look of this shoe, I'm not a fan of it from a comfort perspective. I didn't realize that the thong is actually plastic and it's very uncomfortable. Unfortunately, I wore them thinking they would become more comfortable, which they have not, so now they sit in my closet.

If only Birkenstock would do half sizes! I’m a true half size and have to wear a slightly too big shoe (but it is better slightly too big than slightly too small). Still a very comfortable shoe and my favorite style of Birkenstocks.

Love love love these shoes. Ordered a size down and they fit perfectly. Mold to my feet within a couple of hours. Ordering another color too!

This is my first pair of Birks. The footbed really hurt the first few days I wore them, but are now comfortable. The worst part is that the gold cracked the first time I wore them on my right foot and within the week on my left. Birkenstock sent me a replacement, but I'm afraid they will do the same thing.

Tried and true, these Birks are comfortable and look great! The Gizeh fit is perfect for walking, lounging, working, etc as they have great arch support and are especially comfortable.

They are very hard to break in and not comfortable.

When first ordering Birkenstock sandal, I knew I wear a 6 or European 36, but options wear for 5 - 5 1/2 or 6 - 6 1/2, forcing me to select a range. I opted for the larger and that turned out to be a 37 and it was too large. I exchanged for the 36 and it’s perfect. Had the option to order as Birks are actually sized been available, it would have saved time, effort, shipping, etc.

I love these shoes!

Hard at first, but then molded to my feet and feel wonderful. Great for standing for long periods, not great for lots of walking at one time.
