These shoes run much larger then the suggested size. The site says a 37 will fit a 6-6½. In reality I believe it would fit an 8.

Size 8 was too narrow and it hurts my bunion. The cork on the sides are stiff. These are not recommended for people who have bunions.

I love this style and I love this color because it goes so well with jeans. This is my third pair of blue ones. I almost wear them out!

This sandal goes above and beyond the average sandal. I love these! I don't want to take them off. I have been battling plantar fasciitis for the past 4 months. Tried 3 types of orthotics & new sneakers with no relief. I bought these sandals and within one week they were broken and and perfect. My heel was finally getting better. I have worn Birks in the past and always loved them. The important thing to remember is that Birks are kind of hard for the first week of wear. Don't be turned off, because then they completely mold to your feet and you won't want them to come off. You will not be sorry if you get these. So cute too! Lots of compliments. Seriously these are the only shoes that provide almost zero relief of pain. Amazing!

I have narrow feet, I am usually a 6.5 sandals and 7 shoes. I read other reviwes and I order this style in 37 and they fit nice they are comfortable and cute.

I read reviews and ordered a size down and they fit perfect. Very comfortable, I buy a new pair every year. If you like open shoes, buy these.

I buy these shoes every 4 years or so and wear them 90% of the time from March to November. My absolute faves. Bought the first pair for my wedding. They last forever.

Nice shoe, but I ordered the Naot and the Memphisto at the same time for comparison. The Memphisto and the Naot won highhandedly, but they are much more expensive as well. I sent the Birks back, but for those of you who don't have foot issues like I do, the Birks are great and come in so many beautiful colors.

These shoes are incredibly comfortably. Why pay Mephisto prices when you can have style and great comfort at this very reasonable price!

I ordered these in the Red Patent, and I really like the look. They are well made and fun, but I am sending them back. ;( They are just too flat for me. Your foot is actually positioned in such a way that your heel is lower than the ball of your foot and I just cannot wear shoes that position your foot that way. I can and do wear flip-flops, I have several pair of the Teva Olowahu and love them. They have a foam sole that conforms to your foot and provides just enough cushioning and support for occasional wearing. I use them as 'slippers' around my house and for short errands. A little about me. I am 49 years old, am fit. Because of my age, I have noticed that my shoes need to be super supportive, especially in the arches or I develop tendon issues in my ankles and heels especially when my heel is low in a shoe. I am going to leave the ratings at 5 Stars, because I feel they are well-made, attractive and good shoes, they are just not for me, but I don't feel that is a reason to knock them in the ratings.

I already have this sandal in a pewter color and wear them all the time. A friend raved about the sandal in white so I ordered them too. Didn't think I needed the sandal in a different color, but the patent-leather white looks so different. I actually got them a size down (40 v. 41) so they look a bit more fitted and formal, at least for a birkenstock! Am very happy I decided to keep them- am already getting compliments and my daughter wants a pair now.

I love these! The Gizeh is super cute and not Granola/Hippie looking. You have to understand when you first try these on they will feel weird. You need to give them a few days to mold to your foot. Once this happens, they are like heaven! I'm not kidding. I've had mine for a week and they are fabulous. But it does take a few days, so be patient. I think they run big. I'm a Dankso 39 and I bought a Birkenstock 38. You want your foot to fit perfectly in the heel cup or they won't work.

They're beautiful - but they're really golden! Sort of metallic...make sure that's what you want.

I've had this sandal for 15 years in the patient leather style. I love it (obviously). I bought them when I was 16, and I'm 31 now. They'll never go out of style, and they last a very long time. Best investment! Give them time to break-in.

Have numerous foot issues & have never owned Birkenstock before. These shoes are awesome! Color is trendy, style is great & foot glides in like it was made for you. Ordered 1/2 size down & it fits perfect! Ordering blue pair now.

Great looking on your feet. I have received lots of compliments on the shoes. I thought that the toe piece might be uncomfortable but after a short time I didn't even feel it. I bought another pair right away.

I received these Gizeh Birko-Flor Birkenstocks in a very fast manner (as per the usual Zappos way). I am normally a size 6 and I ordered a size 37 Regular (6-6.5). When I tried them on, they were way too big. I loved the toffee color that I got them in. I wanted some dark brown sandals and felt that the gold shimmer on these added some pizazz. Would have kept them if they weren't too big.

I love these shoes. They take a bit to wear in, but the are comfortable and support my feet.

Give them a chance! When I first put them on, I thought they were the most uncomfortable sandals I'd ever owned. It felt like walking on golf balls, and the toe strap hurt. I planned on sending them back, but decided to wear them in the house for a while. I'd been having such problems with my knees and feet, I could hardly walk. Within a few hours, I realized the golf balls were less noticeable and my knees felt better. I kept wearing them, and now can't live without them! They seem to have realigned my feet and knees. The silver is really cute...much more feminine than the big, dark, clunky Birks. Now I have to find a cute winter Birk! Just give them a chance...you'll be glad you did!

My sister has these shoes, and when I visited her I borrowed them. I liked them so much that I went and bought a pair for myself when I got home. One word of caution: the shoes were uncomfortable at first, probably because when I wore my sisters, she had broken them in. These shoes hurt my arches for at least the first 4-5 times I wore them. However, that's gone away. So don't be scared away if they hurt at first. They will get comfy. I also like that they look so much nicer than flip-flops (in my opinion anyway). I feel like I can wear these to work with some casual pants and still look put together.

I have just ordered my 3th pair of Birki's Gizeh. I absolutely love these sandals I bought the silver to were as a 2nd low shoe with a gown to a wedding when my heels become too much. I wear these with shorts, dresses, casual or dress They look fantastic sizing is my normal Birkenstock size I have about 8 pairs of Birks. Love. I have had 2 foot surgeries and these are great for support and comfort.

I wear a true 7.5 shoe size and I ordered the ONYX in size 38 Narrow and they fit perfect, just like my Birkenstock clogs. These took a few weeks to soften up unlike my Bern Soft Footbed clogs I own (which have a foam layer inserted between the cork layer), which were comfy after 5 minutes. But these didn't hurt to wear or break in. They'll be stiff and therefore the toe divider will be slightly uncomfortable but once the footbed softens up -- your heels will sink in, the toe box softens and everything comfortably flexes with your walk. They'll be the most comfortable shoes your feet have ever experienced! They just take time to soften up, all Birkenstock's do. Google Birkenstocks heel and toe placement to get an idea of how your foot should fit inside Birkenstocks, and to learn which width is right for you. For example: Narrow feet are often the same width up and down the length of the foot. Narrow feet are also narrow across the toes and across the instep (the top of your foot, where shoe laces tie together). Find the right size for you and Birkenstocks will not disappoint!
