I was attending a family gathering and realized that I had left my sandals for my outfit back in the previous town. I already have 2 pair of these, but since I didn't know if my previous pair was going to arrive before the party, I decided to order this beautiful blue patent pair, which actually looked better with my skirt than the ones I had planned. I was so happy when the Zappos employee that answered the phone told me I could get it the next day Saturday, but that I would have to pay extra...well guess what, being a VIP worked for me that day because I got the Saturday delivery for less than the normal charge. They actually arrived earlier than my other pair, and I chose to wear these for my party. I let my mother borrow the other pair, after they arrived and my daughter showed up with hers on so we took a picture of all of our feet in our Birkenstock Gizeh sandals! I'm thinking I might send it to Birkenstock. I Love Zappos! Every person that answers the phone is friendly and helpful. Plus, I like to hear the Joke of the Day when I call...very cool.

I love these Birks! I have never had a pair before as I felt they were too expensive, but believe me they are worth every penny. Also, they now come in narrow, a huge selling point to me. And compared to other casual sandals, are even less expensive than some. Zappos is just the best place ever to find narrow shoes, and their service unbeatable. I am so glad a friend told me about them.

Just gorgeous and another superior experience with Zappos. I ordered these last night and they were on my doorstep this afternoon! I am so pleased! The color I chose was the Red Rose and I was unsure of how bright these going to be but I took a chance and got them anyway because I just love pink. To my surprise and pleasure they are just perfect. They are more of fuchsia and they are not neon at all. Just a really pretty, tasteful pink. Of course, the fit is spot on and true to how a Birkenstock should fit. For those of you who had trouble with the plastic toe piece, this should not be uncomfortable and the space between your toes should not be up against it. For Birkenstocks, like the Arizona I wear a 38 but in Gizeh you must size up one size for them to properly fit so I always wear a 39 in this style. This should eliminate any trouble you have with the toe piece. I used to sell Birkenstocks and this is always the case with this shoe. Trust me on this one! Also the European sizing is a little misleading. In US sizing I am true 8, but in Birkenstock, the 38 is considered a size 7 and the 39 is considered size 8. So, if I am ordering the a Birkenstock, Papillio, Tatami without a toe piece I get the 38, and with a toe piece the 39. I hope that helps people with any sizing issues. Please do not give up on these shoes! I have 10 pair and I have had most of them for 8-9 years. They mold to your foot and fit like a glove. Your foot has to get used to the arches if you are used to wearing flats, flip flops or heels. Also, the Papillio model has less arch support and the Tatami has the most, with the Birkenstock footbed falling somewhere in the middle of those two. If the Birkenstock footbed has too high of an arch, consider the Papillio. Hope this info helps! Love these and I will be getting more colors for sure!

Love Birkenstocks. No break in time, comfortable from the get go. Wish they had these available in widths then I would have gotten a 38 wide. But the 39 still feels great.

Shoes are great. This is my second pair. They were too large and it was very easy to exchange them with Zappos.

Love my new Gizeh Birkenstock! Just make sure you order a size smaller. I wear a 6.5 (37) & ordered a 5.5 (36) and they fit perfect. So happy with them that I will most definitely be buying another pair (brown)!

What can I say except that this is my go to summer sandal. I have this sandal in three colors and they are the most comfortable sandal ever. Love them.

These are fantastic. They fit great and look great. The footbed is super, super soft and these relieve a lot of pressure on my back. The only thing is that the little toe piece in the front sometimes gets stuck under the big toe while walking. Not a huge deal though, still love these!

I was really really disappointed to find that the regular width is actually not wide at all. I have always heard that Birkenstocks are wide and that the narrow is generally for normal width feet, but my wide feet were just too wide for these sandals. I also found the rubber to be really uncomfortable and painful. I absolutely loved these sandals, but was disappointed to find that they were too narrow and not very comfortable

Absolutely love these sandals, so comfortable and cute! I will be getting other colors. I have a wide foot and they support my foot great.

BEST SANDAL EVER!! I just bought a second pair but my first pair still looks amazing and is 4 years old! Worth every penny!

I absolutely adore these sandals. My feet are problematic, well one foot is. I have a bunion I named Paul as it is so big. (Get it? Paul Bunyan?) Anyway, I just received these today and they may be miracle shoes. Never before have I felt so good so immediately in a pair of sandals. The adjustable straps give security, the sole gives support and the lavender color makes me feel pretty. Hurray for my first pair of Birks! It is not to be my last.

Love these! I have been wearing Birkenstock for many years and love that they keep bringing out new colors. These sandals are very good as far as support is concerned and will help if you have foot pain due to falling arches or rheumatoid arthritis as I have! Cool and trendy but good for your feet. A tip though, make sure you measure your feet and buy your measured size not the size you think you are. These shoes are exact fitting shoes.

I waited a long time to buy these because of how expensive they are, but they are worth every penny and I wish I didn't wait so long! Very cute and comfortable. They did take a couple days to break in, but now they are amazing!

I bought a pair of golden brown birko-flor gizehs last summer after being diagnosed with plantar fasciitis following knee surgery. After breaking them in, I wore them almost daily - versatile & cute! They keep my body in proper alignment. This year, I bought two pairs - in henna leather and emerald green leather. The oiled leather ones, however, have no shine like the birko flor, and the leather at my big toe tends to bend upwards a bit after a while, as real leather will do. I find them all equally comfortable. I wear an 8.5, and order down in these to a 38.

A bit stiff when you first put them on, but broke in pretty well. Super cute with long skirts and wide leg jeans if you're going for a boho look. I wish they had a wider selection of colors in the narrow width though.

This is my 2nd pair of these shoes. I love them they go with everything. When these came in I got another pair in the red which looks like a hot pink. I wear these shoes everyday. I have heel and arch problems but not anymore with these wonderful shoes.

Found the plastic thong piece uncomfortable although foot bed was great. Have to try another style.

I wear a size 7½ and the 37 fits like a glove. I absolutely love these shoes. Others have commented that the toe separator bothered them, but I have felt nothing uncomfortable about these shoes. I have them buckled fairly tightly so they do not flip-flop. I have not worn Birks in 20 years. I am so happy that I went back.

Love these Birkenstocks. This makes about my 12 pair in the last few years! The fit is great as always and this color is awesome!

These shoes are amazing. I have several pairs of Birks so I know how they fit and feel and I was so happy to have purchased these. They were comfortable from day 1. I only wish I would have purchased them sooner!

I love these shoes! The first time I ordered a pair of Birkenstocks (a different model) they were way too huge on me, so this time I ordered a full size down. I normally wear an 8/39, so this time I got a 7/38 and it fits perfectly! The thong seemed a bit problematic at first, it chafed and I had to wear Band-Aids around my big toe, but after a few wears I got used to it. Now they are the most comfortable shoes that I own! I love that they go with absolutely everything; they can look casual or fancy depending on what you pair them with.

I have never been a Birkenstock fan. I have always thought they were so ugly! But I have developed a problem with my foot and my local running shop recommended I try Birks. I liked this style and so I tried them. But found they were too wide for my foot. I ordered from Zappos the narrow in one size up and they were perfect. I must admit they feel good on my foot (after a little getting used to them) and they aren't nearly as ugly as thought! I may even order in some other colors.

I love these sandals. My feet are smiling. One problem: the color on the computer is not the same as the real thing: the real purple is not "deep" as described. But that is OK. This is my first Zappo purchase. The experience was excellent.
