If only Birkenstock would do half sizes! I’m a true half size and have to wear a slightly too big shoe (but it is better slightly too big than slightly too small). Still a very comfortable shoe and my favorite style of Birkenstocks.

I love the look of the brushed silver. They are fairly comfortable on the first wear!. I like the protective sides and especailly at the toe.

I love these and ordered the size suggested, 37, based on my foot size (6.5 wide). Apparently, I have very long toes and so they would bump on the front lip of the shoe making walking truly uncomfortable. I did not see how breaking them in would change the issue, so am trying the next size up (38) to see if that size will work. Crossing my fingers!

The shoe is so comfortable, however on this pair there is glue residue on each shoe on the top. One is underneath and would rub and be uncomfortable to wear. I have bought another pair, and I am returning this pair due to poor workmanship/defective.

I am a size 9 and the 39 fit. I find I need to break them in and can only wear them for several hours at a time because it hurts my arch. I have a high arch and need arch support so it could be the reason for the break in period. I have had these sandals in the past and found once they were broken in and molded to my feet, they were one of my favorite sandals. I love how they can be casual or dressed up because of the patent.

The fit is just fine but the toe tong/ strip it’s uncomfortable. This is something that I’m going to have to deal with. Hopefully it will soften up soon

Comfortable even if you have to walk all day.

Just what I was looking for. The strap does rub on the top of my foot but not too badly. Very comfortable

There is pretty decent arch support, I think Birkenstocks in general need a little bit of breaking in at first. The Onyx is not leather, but is also much more of a dark grey/ silvery color than it looked in the pictures here. The black was out of stock in my size, so I got Onyx thinking it was much closer to black than it is.

I like my new Birkenstocks, but when I opened the box there was no original wrapping. The sandals were just 'loose' in the box. I'm wondering if they were returned by another customer and then re sold to me? I hope not as I did pay full price for the shoes.

my go to summer sandal some time thetop band is annoying for when I get my toes done but other than that they're sturdy easy wearing sandals

Fit was a bit off based on other Birkenstock purchases. This style narrower than expected.

I had to exchange mine for a smaller size which I haven’t received yet. I felt they ran large.

I have chubby feet and typically wear an 8 1/2 (39). However, the 39 was too big and the 38 fits perfectly.

Super comfy and cute. The only problem is that they do stink after a while and I haven’t found a way to prevent it

At first the toe separater did not bother me. but after just a few minutes i knew these weren't going to work. I'll just go back to my Mayari! Love Birkenstocks.

These feel about a half size smaller and narrower than any other Birkenstock I own. They work for me (I have a narrow foot).

I ordered the my size but the sandals were too big; I had to go a size smaller. At first the shoes were hard but with time I know they will mold to my feet.

The footbed of this shoe was super comfortable. The toe piece, on the other hand...it feels like a piece of hard plastic. I wear thong style sandals all the time and have never had a toe piece bother me, but one of these gave me a huge, nasty blister right between my toes over the course of the first few days I wore them. But...I used bandaids and broke the shoes in and now they are good. It just seems like another choice of material would be possible and better in this sandal. I think they run a bit small. I wear 8.5-9 and had to return the 39. It was just a bit too short. The 40 is the perfect size. I do not regret buying the shoe despite the blister. Now that they are broken in, they are great. Just keep a few bandaids on hand for the first few days!

This is bizarre, bought this sandal in regular fit in a different color and width wise fit my foot. The color was more of a brown than a red than I liked so returned for a black gizeh, same size, regular width and fits just like the pair of narrow gizeh I already own which are a little too narrow for my foot (they're the EVA kind so they sort of flexed with time to fit my foot more). Don't know why one pair fit me and now what is supposed to be the same size doesn't? Returning.

Go to Sandler for all day comfort

As I’m no longer in my 20s I appreciate good support in my shoes. Birkenstocks are wonderful. The Gizeh style runs big for me. I have a 39 in another style and I go for those much more often. I hesitate to grab these ones because they’re just a touch big behind my heel. Otherwise these are great summer sandals.

My daughter has been wearing Birkenstocks Gizeh for years and swears by their comfort. They look a little cloddy to me and because my foot is very narrow, I didn’t thInk they would fit me. I was pleasantly surprised to see that there is a narrow option on Zappos, so I took a chance. I am between an 8 and 81/2 and the 39s were the perfect length. If you get the right size and your foot arch lines up with the very good arch on the shoe, your toe doesn’t even hit the toe divider and it is perfectly comfortable from the outset. I bought these in the graceful pearl white because I wanted something light for the beach. They are actually very pretty and more feminine in that color and yes they are incredibly comfortable!
