I bought these for my mother for her birthday and she loves them. She does a lot of walking and says they are very comfortable and supportive. They run a bit large and the toe piece takes a bit of getting used to, but after a few wears they are great.

I love Birkenstocks for the foot support and this style is by far one of the cuter ones. I wear mine all the time and usually get them resoled once before needed to retire them for a new pair.

I've never bought a pair of Birks before because I thought they were "ugly - cute." I really like these. They look good and feel good. Probably the best sandals I've bought other than some Donald Pliner's I've had for years.

Wow! That's the word that sums up how excited and delighted I am with my Gizeh sandals. Not only do they have an early yet elegant style but can I dress them up or dress them down. But even better, they are comfortable! In fact they are the only thong style I can wear. All others thongs and flip flops either don't offer enough arch support, slide off my foot when walking and give me blisters where the plastic thong bit goes.I was surprised to discover that these are designed so well, that the plastic bit doesn't actually touch my toes at all! My toes simply clutch the areas around it! I suffer from severe plantar fasciitis in both feet. The high arch and the heel cup that Birkenstock offers, combined with how well my feet stay in and hug the sandal have offered me days of comfort. I highly recommend them!

I chose these as my summer travel shoe, hoping for something supportive, comfortable, and still feminine and stylish. I was not disappointed. They seem less heavy and bulky than the Arizona style I purchased several years ago. I was initially concerned that the peg between the first and second toe could rub or cause discomfort, but I don\'t even notice it. Highly recommend!

I love these shoes. I work in a laid-back non-profit and I have worn this shoes everyday since I received them. They are so comfortable and look good with sundresses, skirts, shorts, and jeans. I live in Florida and I hope to wear this as much as possible throughout the year. Now, I just need different colors!

I love these shoes! They feel great and I wear them almost every day. I'm on my feet all day and the support from the shoes is just what I needed. This was my first pair of Birkenstock shoes, but it won't be my last.

I bought these Birkenstocks as I have been having trouble with bunions. These are so comfy and have excellent support. The white patent leather also dresses outfits up or down. Happy with purchase. Runs true to size; I'm an 8.5 and ordered 39. I do have a semi wide foot, though.

The shoes are great, I love them! At first, the sole of the shoe took some getting used to but now, they are just so comfortable.

All I can say is Zappos has lighting speed in shipping, I was very impressed. I love this shoe. Some people may think it's not fashion forward, but it looks very chic when you pair with the right outfit. Love Birkenstock!

These are the best sandals that I have ever owned. I have other pairs of Birks, but these are the most versatile. You can wear them with skirts, dresses, pants and shorts. Easily the best Birkenstocks I have in my closet. And unlike so many other shoes, you can wear them comfortably all day!

Don't fear when you first get them and they kill your feet its all about breaking them in. These shoes are great and have great arch support and I recommend them to everyone.

Prior to developing plantar fasciitis, I vowed never to wear Birkenstocks. It's amazing how quickly I changed my mind when I realized that I had to have a properly made footbed with good support. Plus, they're not bad looking. In fact, I may order another color. And, as always, I can't say enough good things about Zappos. Zappos is the first place I go to get shoes.

Birkenstocks Gizeh is my favorite model. I like the foot bed comfort and the fact that its cork. The toe thong takes some getting used to, but in a few hours they feel like you have worn them forever. I also have fibromyalgia and some foot pains, neuroma's and arch pains that go away when wearing Birkenstock's shoes. I got my first pair of Gizeh's in Europe last summer, they were the hot item there. They were featured in all the shops and loads of women wore them, in every color one can imagine. I had a sunny pair of deep yellow that were perfect on that vacation. When I got home my new puppy chewed the buckles off. I just ordered 3 new pairs, one for house slippers for summer and the others for outer wear.

I ordered these shoes because I already have a pair like them in the genuine leather, so I thought I\'d try a pair of less expensive shoes in the same style. They\'re very comfortable and have the exact same fit as the more expensive leather ones. I received the shoes two days after ordering, and the person I spoke with on the phone could not have been nicer or more helpful. I love ordering from Zappos and will continue to do so for a long time. In fact, I think I need another pair right now!

I've loved Birkenstock clogs for a while, but I wanted a flip-flop for the summer that wouldn't kill my back... needless so say, I'm loving these shoes! I absolutely love these sandals! They are cute, comfortable, and affordable. I truly could wear them everyday and still be in love with them.

Most of my family and a few of my friends are on the Birk bandwagon, so now that I've finally caught on. I don't think I'll ever go back. These shoes are wonderful and only took a few days to break in. No more flimsy sandals for me! I know these will last far past one season and the style will outlast fashion's whims. I ordered true to size and all worked out wonderfully, although I had little to worry about since Zappos got them to me so quickly. Highly recommended!

Other than the black color being a pollen magnet, the shoes are great! Birkenstock is, hands down, the most comfortable shoe in the world. And ordering from Zappos is always a breeze. I also didn\'t find the toe strap wide, as some others have posted. If you\'re used to wearing flip flops, these shoes won\'t cause you any troubles.

I love these shoes! I bought them for commuting shoes to work (I live in DC and was tired of wearing flip flops on the metro), but have ended up wearing them every second I'm not at work. They look great, are incredibly comfortable, have excellent arch support and are reasonably stylish. They run a bit big though, so I'd order one size down.

The Gizeh is my favorite Birkenstock style. I really needed a basic black and this one is perfect. Birki’s are my favorite shoes. I'm so spoiled by wearing them I honestly can't stand to wear anything else. When I have to wear a dressy shoe with a heel they about kill my feet. I often take a pair of Birki’s with me and end up changing into them. I ordered these shoes yesterday afternoon and received them today! How is that possible?! Zappos is amazing - love you!

These shoes look fantastic. The color (red patent leather) is really rich and sophisticated. Unfortunately, I ordered them in narrow width and had to return, because it didn't fit well. Even though I always thought I have narrow feet. So I recommend to buy Birkenstocks in regular width, unless you have really really narrow feet. One more thing, is size. I recommend to get them half size smaller (their advice is opposite), but 25 for my 5.5 seemed perfect, and 36 (recommended by them) was huge!
