These sandals are great! They fit well and are extremely comfortable! I will definitely be buying more Birkenstock's!

I found the sandals true to size and comfortable. They were not stiff and no breaking in was needed. Even the thong between the toe was not uncomfortable.

These are the first pair of Birkenstocks for me. I have to say they are FABULOUS! The moment I slipped them on they felt so comfortable. I read most of the reviews from others before purchasing. Some had noted the toe spacer being hard to get used to. I never did have that issue. My aunt has worn this particular style for years. Her loyalty and the good reviews pushed me over the edge. I ordered true to size. I will NEVER wear anything else again!

Runs small. More narrow than other Birkenstock styles. Plastic piece between toes is very uncomfortable.

We needed a size 35 European size. We got a 5-5.5 but, it was much longer that a 5. Love the shoes tho'.

I loved these shoes but knew I could never wear them as the plastic toe separator was so uncomfortable! I tried because the color was so awesome. I wore them around the house to try and get used to them.

I liked these sandals BUT I usually get size seven in thong/sandals. When I selected US 7 - 7.5, I received Euro size 38. The center piece between my toes did not fit at the base of toes, instead - halfway to the end of my toes…super uncomfortable! I have recently been buying Mephisto in Euro 37, and it’s working for me. I think by getting the 38, the strategically center piece was too close to the toe of a too big shoe for me. The charts seem to vary from brand to brand. In this shoe, think 37 might’ve worked…

Felt short in lenght, very narrow across toe box

I so wanted to wear the Gizeh in Silver as my first pair of Birkenstocks, but the toe seperater is hard plastic, sharp and uncomfortable on the tender skin between my toes that it dug in with each step. Sadly, I sent them back.

Cute sandal, my first Gizeh style. I’m a size 7 and the 38 fit true to size for me. My middle toe is longer than my big toe and it hits right at the edge of the sandal, but not over. The strap that goes between my toes covers a good bit of my foot. Not sure if it’s my foot or the style that causes that. I will have to drill another hole in the strap that goes across my right foot bc it needs to be tighter than it is.

This style felt narrow on my foot.

I wanted to love these Birkenstocks, but I have foot issues and the shape around the outside of the foot is uncomfortable for my me. Otherwise they seem like great shoes!

The sandal was too wide for me. If the toe thong was moveable along the arch strap they would have worked

This color don’t look black. More of dark gray/ silver color

Everything was fine with the shoe. I returned because I have a bunion, and that part of my foot hung off the shoe. Just didn’t work.

I bought these last year and they were stolen in January. I went to my orders and reordered the exact same pair - color/size/width/style. I didn’t try them on, just packed them for a trip. When I went to put them on, they are too narrow. The only other pair of shoes I packed broke so I had to wear them and now I can’t return. I did not accidentally buy a narrow pair. There is something off bc all my other Birkenstocks in the same size at home still fit.

This is my third Birkenstock. I’m hoping This will last longer and not crack too soon. My first one lasted 7 years and the cork is cracked and the rubber sole has progressively thinned. My second one is the Arizona and is only 3 years old and is already showing crack on the inner parts of the leather. I really like Birkenstock and just hoping that their quality will last longer because they really do get more comfortable as they get older.

I’ve been buying these shoes for years for the support…which is great! I do think they are slightly narrower then in the past. My biggest complaint is the cost which is going up more and more.

I'm usually a 5 1/2 or 6 . I sized down and ordered size 35. They fit perfectly. The arch is just right.

7.5 is too big and I was afraid 6.5 would be too small. I’m hard to fit because I have a wide foot and short toes. I wore them outside or I would return them.

I love these Gizeh Birks. Currently this will be the 3rd kind of Birkenstock I have worn. This time I went with the black shiny Gizeh, instead of buying the water proof. Also I did order a 7-7.5 and they are BIG since I am more on the 7 side than 7.5. Normally I wear a 7 in most shoes and only buy wide brand shoes. And since I bought a 6-6.5 in my last pair 5 years ago, it was time to move up a size. My feet have grown with age. However I did keep these because I am not sure if the size down will be to small. And my arch is going, which means I will need the extra room.

My first pair was way to big…. Easy returns. The next size down was perfect!

The sandal ran too narrow although ordered a regular width. Can’t believe it’s too narrow Birkenstock is a brand that has the reputation of being so very wide. The length was fine a great looking sandal but too narrow, returning for a wider style.
