Well made slipper -
This is a very sturdy and well-made slipper. I was impressed that Zappos e-mailed me about its availability right after I tried to order it, very good service! The slipper is snug, but I think it is because of the luxuriant lining. Hopefully it will mat down a little over time.

These are luxurious!!
When I ordered these, I was a little concerned that the rubber-type sole would detract from them, lessening their breathability. After all, I had worn LL Bean 'wicked goods' which had the natural sole and I loved their breathability.
To anyone who hasn't tried sheepskin, you don't know how wonderful they feel on your feet after a long day at work. Putting them on really announces "I'm home!" There is absolutely nothing that feels as good as sheepskin. Anyway these are high quality and very, very comfortable, and feel very good on the feet. And they're breathable, and a good value!

This is my third pair. I swear them everyday. I get a new pair every Christmas. For some reason this pair felt a half size bigger than usual. My feet keep slipping out but I'm keeping them because after a year the bottoms are worn out on my old ones and I need a pair to wear now..

I really like this slipper, but I wear a size 4.5 so I bought a size 5, and it was too tight in the toes. Unfortunately, there is no half sizes so I had to return them. The slipper looks well made and very cozy.

These slippers are supremely comfortable and warm.
The cushioning on the inside of the slipper is so dense that with socks on you can't get a good grip with your feet and so walking is awkward, but take your socks off and they're great.
I normally wear a 6.5, but I ordered a size 7 after reading some reviews and they feel just right.

I find the slipper very comfortable. Most of all I was loking for a "secure" because I have taken a fall resulting in a fractured wrist, wearing my previous ones. The delivery dervice was superb.

Warm fleece in the winter makes the difference -
This winter I finally tried (and loved) fleece-lined shoes. They are warm and snuggly and even warm if you slip them on without socks and go out. The only drawback is wearing them after snow when the salt disfigures the suede. Everything else about these shoes is just top notch.

I have been through about four pairs of Old Friend slippers in the past couple of decades -- mostly these and the full booties. I spend a lot of time in the house, and these are toasty and wonderful *and* have enough room for support insoles. My only quibble is that the sole and assembly could be a little more robust -- but that's probably because I wear them until they are *really* worn out.

I have been buying these slippers for 15 years. I wear a 9 and I bought that size originally. They were way too small so I sent them back for a 10. They were perfect. I kept buying 10s until a few years ago when they were so big I had to trade them for 9s. 9s were great until this pair. After wearing for 2 days they're so big they fall off. I wish they could stay consistany!

I have an old pair of the same that's looking a bit worn out after a few years, so this order is a replacement. Bought same size as before, and feels like old one - now i need to wear it in and stretch it out:) The removable insoles are awesome - i was able to add some extra arch support in (i add orthotics to all my shoes for comfort). I expect i will be back for a new pair in a few more years - these are awesome.

I read the reviews and read that the shoe runs small. With that information, I needed to order a size 10. I had to order an 11 because the 10's were out of stock. I exchanged the size 11 for a 9 which is my regular shoe size and found them to be too large unless I wore thick socks. I will have to return them because my foot slips out of them and I don't want to put socks on to wear them.

Love these slippers! I had a pair of slippers similar in style, same brand. I wore them for many years before they finally wore out. These slippers are super comfy, and provide good support. The sturdy sole makes it easy to wear them to run out to the mailbox, or even for a quick trip to the store. They run a little large, and slip up and down a bit on my foot. However, the fleece is so soft that I am used to it now and kept the size I ordered. I love the slippers! They seem just as sturdy as my previous pair, so I expect that they will also last for many winters to come!
