Love my cozy slippers! I had tried the Uggs, thinking they were the best. But the sizing was strange, with one being painfully tight, and the next size floppy. Plus, no support at all, and no way to add any and still have fleece underfoot. These are great! Fit is pretty much to size, certainly not too large. Best thing is the removable insole. It has a layer of fleece, with a bit of foam too, which has a tiny bit of arch support (compared to no support at all with the Uggs.) I've been able to slip an arch support insole under the cushy layer, making these not only fuzzy-soft-comfy, but also supportive! I found my normal custom insoles or even "superfeet" insoles won't work as well, since outer edge of the heel portion curves up, and it was scratching my foot where it extended beyond the edge of the fleece. But another style (Spenco brand) with less support, but a flatter heel style works perfectly under the fleece insole of the slipper. Another feature I love is the sole, which is tough enough to go outside a bit. This allows me to get the newspaper or scrape the windshield before I get ready to leave in the morning.

I wear a 6.5 shoe. I ordered a 7 as suggested. This shoe is too short in the toe and too long in the back. My toes touched the end but the shoe slipped up and down on my heels. The toe is very shallow too so that added to the toe pain. There is no shape or style to the shoe. Poorly designed. Very soft and cozy lining. Nice color. But its design and poor sizing prevent it from fitting. Returning.

This is at least my fourth or fifth pair of these slippers. Sadly they are going back and it's time to find a new friend. These slippers were always so plush on the inside. They're not the same anymore. I compared the leather on my last pair to this pair and there is definitely a difference. They're very expensive for the declining quality. I had my first pair for at least 3 years. Each pair since I've had since never lasted as long. Mostly because the stitching has been coming out.

They are very comfortable but I had to remove the liner in order for them to fit. I would say they run at least one size small. Unfortuantley they had no other sizes available and I like them so much I removed the liner and kept them anyway.

I love these slippers. They are so warm and comfy. I love that I can wear them outside at night to take the dog out. They are sized a little small. I wear a 8 & 1/2 shoe size, but got the 10 in the slippers, I tried the 9 and they were too small. The 10 is plenty big. The only downside to these slippers is they were almost too warm to wear in the warmer months. My feet got a little sweaty in them.

Based on reviews by others I ordered size up. I usually wear 11m, but went to 12 on these and that worked well. I wanted something warm and with some support and cushiony feel, as well as indoor/outdoor sole I can run to get paper in morning! They are very warm as well. Would buy again!

My feet are too narrow for Uggs but these Juliet slippers fit perfectly. I wear an size 8 usually. I ordered a size 8 Juliet. Perfect fit. So i would say these ryn true for length but on the narrow side. Softest slippers ever!! True keep my feet warm which almost no other slippers will do. Had my last pair of Juliet for 4 years and just replaced them. Definitely glad I hunted till I found Juliet replacement. Zappos experience was terrific too. Win win! Get these!

I got a pair 5 years ago and have worn them as my GO TO shoes every winter in CA. They Held up great but are now very dirty so must replace. Thrilled to find them on Zappos! Good heavy “rubber” non-slip sole is fine for dog walks or grocery store. Real fur lining keeps my feet warm which is nearly impossible- socks and fake fur do NOT keep my feet warm. Love ‘em! Merry Christmas to me!

Slipper definitely runs small. I wear 9.5, and size 10 fits snug. Appears to be a well-made slipper. Definitely warm and cozy.

Very comfortable and very warm. No complaints. They did feel a little tight at first, but fit very well after just a few evenings/mornings of wear.

i HAVE A BIG AND WIDE FOOT FOR A WOMAN. i WEAR A SIZE 12. i ORDERED A SIZE 12 MEDIUM. i READ WHERE OTHERS FELT LIKE THE SHOES WERE A LITTLE SNUG IN THE WIDTH. i FELL THEY ARE AS WELL. BUT I THINK THEY WILL LOOSEN UP AS i WEAR THEM. I'VE ONLY HAD THEM A FEW DAYS AND IT'S TAKING A LITTLE TIME TO ACTUALLY GET USE TO WEARING THESE SHOES. THE SHOES ARE BEAUTIFUL,SOFT AND PLUSH. MY FEET STAY VERY WARM.

I love everything about these slippers -- except that the stitching is falling out on the side on the right slipper, and it's falling apart. But I'm returning them and getting a replacement. They are so comfortable, keep me warm, and look really good. I'm a size 8.5 to 9. I purchased a 9 and they fit well.

I have bought a half dozen Old Friends slippers over the years for myself and my daughters. Originally I loved them. They seem to have slipped. The last pair I got from Zappos was the bootee. The sole fell apart in about six months. This pair of Juliet I returned because the fit was way off. One slipper was too small and the other too big, both slipped off my heels. I do think they are cozy but the workmanship and fit isn't what it used to be. So I agree with a previous reviewer that the slippers run too small I the toe and too big In the back.

This slipper felt totally different than the pair I bought 2 years ago. I bought the shoe in the same size, figuring it would fit in the same way. The first pair was perfect, the second was returned. The second pair was too short and too long at the same time--the toes pushed all the way to the front, leaving about an inch between the heel and the back of the slipper. When shopping online this is not a good thing.

After about a week the slippers fell apart.

Love these slippers. Very comfortable, good quality. I sometimes have trouble with the arch in shoes -- they can be too high. These don't really have an arch, but the soft lining conforms to my feet to make a perfect fit!

Great grippy soles, a little small (but the fleece will flatten out a bit). These replace Acorns, and they are similar, less expensive, and wider. Not quite as nice looking as the Acorns, but for winter slippers I'm satisfied.

I\'m very pleased with the new version of this slipper. The removable insole is terrific and very comfortable and there is more room in the toe box.

I\'ve been having a hard time with slippers that kept falling off my feet, so I ordered these. They work great. I ordered my usual shoe size and they fit fine. They are warm, comfy and stay on my feet! The soles are sturdy enough to handle taking out the trash or other outdoor activities. I would definitely recommend them.

I am bummed, because these slippers are soft and comfy. Unfortunately, they are sized way too small. My perfect size is 11-1/2, which is almost impossible to get. Therefore, I have to order size 12 in most shoes and boots, which are often too big. I had to return Uggs that were size 12, because they were too big. This size 12 was at least one size short. The width was fine, but would never work because of the length.

These slippers didn't work for me. My regular shoe size is a 7, but I have a high arch and instep so I ordered the size 8. I had a really hard time getting my foot in there without a shoe horn. Tried the Uggs next, and they fit my foot better, plus the sheepskins was softer and more pliable.

This is a well-made slipper with high-quality shearling and a very plush innersole. The soles are sturdy. Unfortunately for me the toe box felt a little low and the slippers overall felt narrow, so they have to go back.

I am a size 7.5 and ordered the size 8 which is too small. I may order the size 9 but I can't believe I could actually fit in a size 9!!

These slippers are fantastic, much better than Uggs, and at a lower price. They are softer and cushier. Other reviews are correct that you should order a size larger than normal.

This was my 2nd purchase of "Old Friend" slippers that are so comfy & warm in MN winters. I love them, as well as Zappos, who has what I want in my size. Free shipping to & from is always a bonus.
