Perfect for arctic weather! I purchased these for my mother as a Christmas gift. She is always borrowing my shoes & asked for a pair of her own. I don't have the same type but after reading such positive reviews, I felt these were a great option for her. She was very happy to receive them but just could not wear them, they were way too hot. After having them on for 5 minutes she had to remove them. We live right outside Philadelphia where the weather can get quite frigid but these were a bit too much for her.

comfortable but small - This is a nice, warm, comfortable slipper/shoe. But it runs about 1 1/2-2 sizes smaller than normal. I bought it for my daughter and had to go up 2 full sizes to get it to fit. Otherwise, she loves it!

I love Old Friend! This is a great, comfortable slipper alternative. It keeps your feet warm in the winter and cool in the summer. I buy a new pair every year only because I wear them so much I need to replace them. I won't get any other brand.

Love the slippers but they don't last long - I wear these slippers daily (indoors) and found that within one year of purchase, the bottom (outside) sole at the heel was cracked on both slippers as they seemed to wear right through the rubber. The same happened with the fuzzy insole, but I don't expect those to last too long on any slipper when worn daily. I have purchased other slippers from different companies in the past which gave me up to 2 years of use. I am disappointed that these slippers only lasted barely one year. That means I'm spending $50 a year on slippers -- not exactly what I want to do. Overall though, they are very comfortable slippers so until I can find something to replace them that may last longer, I'll purchase another pair.

Really warm - Once I struggle to get them on they're very comfortable. Perhaps they'll stretch a little with more wear.

Old Friend Juliet - I loved the slipper, but they were a tiny bit small. I would buy them 1/2 size larger the next time.

This slipper is very warm & cozy. However, the shearling collar is extremely bulky to the point that it looks rather silly and pants won't lay right without continuous efforts to pull them down over the cuff. But if warmth is your priority and you don't care about how your pants lay, this may be the slipper for you.

Structure - This style was my second choice as the Kayla has been my usual selection. This style is more structured and less relaxed in it's fit. I found a little tightness in the toe box area, even though I ordered a larger size. The rubber sole is another difference between this and the Kayla (which is leather.) They are soft and warm though.

4 Stars - Zappos has never failed to deliver what has been ordered. Everything has been great over the years. I tell my family about your company. Great variety.

Feel great! I really love these slippers for their comfort and warmth. It's the perfect thing to slip on your feet after a long day. They're not the most fashionable looking slippers but who cares when you're in the house. Overall they're great.

I think this was a true fit in size 10, but I REALLY only need 9.5 and most slippers don't come in half sizes. I've bought and returned more pairs than I count due to fit. I'm still wearing Dexter slippers from the 90s. Desperately need new ones!

The shearling lining was nice but the overall fit was way bigger than any size 8 I’ve worn.

New to me. I'm comparing them to my Acorn favorites. Soles a little stiffer, a wee bit of arch support (at least while they are brand new). Similar warmth to Acorns.

The heels of the slipper are at least twice as big as they should be. No arch support, which I require. On the plus side, there's a good amount of sheepskin inside. Warm. Toes and upper width was perfect. Unfortunately, the heel area was so wide that my foot swam around in the slipper when trying to walk and excess suede and material buckled around the top of my foot, above the heel. Felt like it was made on a last that was meant to fit a man's foot, not a woman's foot.

Seems well made, but the fit is not great. The toebox is very low and because of that these are not as comfortable as I would like. Also, the arch support feels a little weird, as if it's not exactly in the right place. I am keeping these only because none of the sheepskin slippers I purchased this year fit all that well, and this is the best of a bad lot.

I'm afraid, even after ordering a size up, these are tight on my difficult to fit toes - the toe box is tight. They are very soft and tempting though.

I ordered this shoe in an 8, which is always the size I wear. It was too small. I ordered it in a 9, and it felt EXACTLY the same as the 8! Any size bigger, and the sides will be too sloppy, so I had to choose another shoe. I think they fit kind of oddly because the plastic sole actually extends up in the front, reducing the toe room.

These slippers are too tight in the toe box. I wear a 6 1/2, and these were very snug. Also, the toe box narrows down more than is visible in the photo.

The left slipper felt fine, but the right one had a visibly smaller toe-box and my big toe scraped into the seam.

Style called "Old Friend Juliet" - my feet were not her "Romeo". They were cute, though. Not rugged enough for outdoors. Parting was such sweet sorrow, made sweeter by the charming thank you note Zappo's sent me, thanking me for my non-purchase. What will I get when I actually buy something -- diamond-studded flip-flops? I'll give it a try soon.

Love to shop - The quality of suede and sheepskin is good, but...one of the sock liners had very thick sheepskin and it makes me limp. The difference is huge!!!!

Not quite a miss - After two years, the right foot has completely blown out (disintegrated stitching at slipper-sole junction and seams, the rubber sole losing half-dollar sized pieces of tread) but the left foot is still quite good. Go figure.

Not wide enough - These comfy slippers only come in whole sizes. They only come in one width. Lucky for you if your feet happen to be the size of the slipper. They should come in half sizes. For those of us with slightly wider feet, the half size gives slightly more width. With whole sizes, we may have something too big on our feet, which pinch nonetheless. Too bad; they feel so soft.
