I bought these in May 2020 and wear them to walk my dog. That's all. We live in Arizona so obviously don't go too far during the summer. I'm SO disappointed that these have fallen apart already. Maybe they were defective but no shoe worn about an hour a day should be in this condition in less than four months.

The reviews said that this particular shoe ran big. My son has other converse, so I felt comfortable ordering the same size. Well, the reviews were correct, this shoe definitely runs big.

These are probably the most uncomfortable shoes I've ever had on my feet, but unfortunately I didn't find that out until I had worn them outside. I bought them a half size larger than recommended to accommodate a problem with my feet because of surgery, but there's something about the outside edge of the right shoe that is so painful I can't wear them. They are extremely heavy for a canvas shoe and have absolutely no padding. I tried putting another thin insole in them, but that didn't work. I've also tried different socks. I bought them exclusively for biking, so I'm not even doing a lot of walking in them. The one reason I wanted them is for the more solid piece that goes across the toes for a little added protection. I've never had this problem with any other shoe. I would not recommend these at all. On the plus side, they are a cute shoe and I've received several compliments for them.

I have never before ordered shoes that are sized for both men and women, but although I picked the size that is stated to be the equivalent of a women's 8.5, I found them to be at least a women's 9.5 in length. Perhaps it's my feet, but these are going back. I am very appreciative of ZAPPOS fast delivery and easy return service, and will try again soon.

This item is NOT charcoal. It is an odd color like almost a brown green. This is falsely advertised. If you are looking for gray these are not for you.

I'm really disappointed in how cheap and disposable Converse have become. My daughter has been wearing these a few times a week for three months and this week the seam between the rubber and canvas on the side of the shoe completely split. It's crazy that Zappos sells shoes that are basically destroyed after three months of regular use!

Poor quality. Fell apart within a year! Not the sneaker of my youth!

Liked the look of the Converse sneakers, but when my husband went to put them on, he was very disappointed to find out that he was sent TWO RIGHT SHOES!!! What the heck?!

My daughter wore these less than 15 times and the entire bottom came off. The glue also unraveled where the rubber is glued to the canvas. I am really disappointed to have to buy a new pair so early since she really likes to wear them. Maybe it was just this pair?

The fit is at least one size bigger than advertised. The shoes look good and with was good.

So bummed, these aren’t made the same anymore. Too narrow and long. Had to trade in for a smaller size to get the right length. These are too narrow and hurt my feet, give me blisters every time. Just not the quality shoe they used to be

Is to big for me

We received two right shoes. Which is the reason for return of these shoes.

I have ordered many of these classic low cut 'connies' before. The last two were made in India, not Vietnam, as previously. The ones made in India do not feel the same. The size is just a little different; the tongue material is thinner and bunches up; there seems to be less support; and overall they feel less comfortable.

I really wanted to like these shoes, but they fit way to big. I took the recommendation and ordered a half size down and they are still way to big. I will be returning these shoes as quickly as I received them unfortunately. overall nice quality, but i cannot really judge much else as i cannot wear them.

The shoes made a squishing sound with every step. Horrible!!! Would love to have kept them. But I, nor my family, could stand it.

Comfy yes but they're ugly as hell. Guess it doesn't fit my non-hipster style

The color is NOT navy. The color on the site is about 5 times darker than the shoe that arrived. The actual shoe is just blue, not at all navy.

Quality was poor, most likely a manufacturing defect. The canvas on the side of the shoe came unglued. One could see the glue sticking out from the rubber side.
