This show is a classic! It does run a full size larger than other shoes. I bought a 7 for my niece and had to return for a 6. The returns are so easy with Zappos that it’s no hassle!

Ordered a half size smaller than normal, and the fit was good

I normally wear a size 12. Size 11 fit me good in this shoe. It's a comfortable casual shoe.

Love the look! Makes for a nice casual shoe. I wouldn’t recommend them for any extended standing or walking though.

I am usually an 8.5. I will be reordering an 8 bc the 8.5 was too big.

I purchased this shoe in grey. It's fantastic and goes with everything. However it runs a bit large, about a half size, and yet feels narrow for me. I usually wear an 11 in a shoe, for a converse 10.5. I have a wide foot with a very high arch. So it also feels slightly narrow to me, yet I'm easily able to walk all day in these shoes. I'm a full fan of converse.. and while I like this style shoe for most occasions, my favorite style in Chuck Taylor hi-tops. So i flip between wear both styles.

The shoes are comfortable, but it runs large and a little wide.

ALL BLACK CONVERSE SNEAKERS?? Yes, please! Converses normally run big but this pair seemed to for just right! The sneaker is perfect and goes with everything! I highly recommend them...

Exactly what I wanted. I have no idea how people used to play b-ball in these. But they are great for a cute alternative to sneakers

I love Chucks - I have two pair - low cut (the most recent purchase from Zappo's) and hightop. They're my standard summer footwear. I'm especially impressed with Zappo's, because these arrived on my front porch the day after I ordered them.

Reviews consistently said to order a half size smaller than what you normally wear. I don't get it. I normally wear an 11 and ordered a 10.5. It was about a half size too small! In other words, I should have ordered my normal size. Toe box was definitely too narrow. So back they go. So disappointed.

Finally took them out of the box wore them same day! Can’t go wrong with the Classic Chuck! Been wearing the years! First I ordered the Monochrome black on black although they were tighter due to the die. Zappos’s promptly exchanged them for the classic Black on white, next day delivery! Thank you Zappos for great customer service!!

Stylish, a bit uncomfortable in the toe.

I love these shoes — they are great for all seasons and styles! I can easily spot clean and put them in the wash.

I do like these shoes a lot! They are the classic "Chucks". That said, if you're new to Chucks, you might want to order at least a 1/2 size if not a full size smaller to compare, they definitely are larger than your normal. I thought I was a full size smaller but was glad that I ordered also the 1/2 size smaller, since that's ultimately what I went with. Also, they are narrow shoes. If you're not used to that...me personally, I wear a lot of Birks and Keens, and they are sized to the more natural foot profile...Chucks are not. They are the classic design from way back when shoes were all pretty narrow. So expect your toes to be a little constricted. Another reason to order multiple sizes to compare. Also, the footbeds are NOT removable, so if you rely on your own inserted or wanted to use your own, your'e out of luck. They definitely are shoes for the flatter-footed individual. I prefer more arch support but I'm sticking with these regardless because I think they'll be fine. So that's my personal review...your own experience may vary.

Great looking retro shoes. Unfortunately they didn't have enough support for my husband. What felt good in our teens doesn't feel so great in our 60's. Thanks Zappos for another great transaction.

fit well enough - returning because they made my big feet look bigger!

After reading the comments, ordered a half size down from my normal size and it was perfect! The shoes did need to be broken in a little, but are now very comfortable. Not much arch support, but doesn't make them uncomfortable at all.

My 16 year old daughter has worn these before in a 7 , so much they wore out. Wears them all the time, a great school shoe. When we got a new pair I ordered a 7.5 in other shoes. But the 7.5 was too big, so I think they run a little big.

These were huge! I compared them to my last pair of converse and they were a full inch longer.

So, I ordered US size 10 and it’s definitely one size bigger, even though it says 10 on the shoes. Disappointed :(
