I do like these shoes a lot! They are the classic "Chucks". That said, if you're new to Chucks, you might want to order at least a 1/2 size if not a full size smaller to compare, they definitely are larger than your normal. I thought I was a full size smaller but was glad that I ordered also the 1/2 size smaller, since that's ultimately what I went with. Also, they are narrow shoes. If you're not used to that...me personally, I wear a lot of Birks and Keens, and they are sized to the more natural foot profile...Chucks are not. They are the classic design from way back when shoes were all pretty narrow. So expect your toes to be a little constricted. Another reason to order multiple sizes to compare. Also, the footbeds are NOT removable, so if you rely on your own inserted or wanted to use your own, your'e out of luck. They definitely are shoes for the flatter-footed individual. I prefer more arch support but I'm sticking with these regardless because I think they'll be fine. So that's my personal review...your own experience may vary.

Great looking retro shoes. Unfortunately they didn't have enough support for my husband. What felt good in our teens doesn't feel so great in our 60's. Thanks Zappos for another great transaction.

After reading the comments, ordered a half size down from my normal size and it was perfect! The shoes did need to be broken in a little, but are now very comfortable. Not much arch support, but doesn't make them uncomfortable at all.

My 16 year old daughter has worn these before in a 7 , so much they wore out. Wears them all the time, a great school shoe. When we got a new pair I ordered a 7.5 in other shoes. But the 7.5 was too big, so I think they run a little big.

These were huge! I compared them to my last pair of converse and they were a full inch longer.

So, I ordered US size 10 and it’s definitely one size bigger, even though it says 10 on the shoes. Disappointed :(

Ah, Chuck. Seems just like old times. I was 14 years old when I bought my last pair and I had them until my freshman year of college. They were my go-to-casual shoe. Cool, comfy, and youthfully fun. Now, 40 years and a few foot issues later, I have another pair, and they make me feel the same way. Although I kind of wish I'd gotten the half-size smaller, they're still my besties! I'll never dessert you again, Chuck. I promise.

I usually wear a size 9 women's shoe. Reviews said to order a half size smaller. I ordered an 8.5 and they were still to big.They were also uncomfortable on the sides of my feet.

Nice and comfortable and easy to pair with clothes. They do run large - I usually wear an 8.5 or 9 and am in an 8 and they still have a little length on them. From the reviews it seems most people feel they run a half to whole size large so ordered the 8.5 and 8 to try only.

These are true to size and comfy. But they just were more casual looking than I needed so I returned. Not a lot of arch support, but still comfortable.

Cute very in style, but the sizing is so hard to gauge. My daughter wears a women’s 8.......and she ended up in a 6? We wen through 5 pair before we found her size.

You can hardly go wrong with this classic. Pairs well with most outfits and looks great on a shiny summer day. I've had it for about a month now and is extremely comfortable to walk in and the price is a bargain.

Too cute. Great color. Runs a little small/narrow do I knew to order up a half size.

I love the classic Converse look and the vibrant red. A terrific looking shoe but very basic and uncomfortable.

Im a size 13 in all other shoes, but these are huge, can put a thumb behind my heel. Might consider a size lower than normal.

These shoes are a total classic. Love the gray! I'd recommend sizing down as they run a full size big. I usually wear 7.5 in women's (8 in tennis shoes), and ended up with unisex 4.5M/6.5W.
