Overall, they were everything I expected, because I have had Chuck's before. They do run large, but the shoes are cut on the narrow side. I have wider feet and the larger size of the last fit perfect width-wise. If you have wider feet, you may want to order your size instead of going down.

Classic style to my door in 2 days Wrong size was sent but Zappos sent correct size overnight ! I gave the too small pair to homeless shelter. Great experience overall!

I bought these for my boyfriend to take on vacation. I had a problem with my order, was sent a women's 10.5 instead of a men's but like always zappos was so accommodating and I received the correct size the next day! Zappos has the best return/exchange policy and customer service. Converse were as expected, I always buy a half size smaller than my typical shoe size.

These are great sneakers. My daughter wears them with leggings and shorts. They are very comfortable. Order a size down because they run big.

I haven't owned a pair of these in years since they were no longer Made in the USA, but I caved and bought a pair anyway. Boy was I disappointed when I received them. The quality and construction have really declined. The rubber is flimsy, the canvas thinner than ever, and they couldn't even put a decent pair of laces in them. The laces are SUPER cheap polyester that snag on my fingernails, on grass, on concrete. YUCK.For the price, I expect better. The fit is fine, a teeny narrower than I remember Chucks being, and what happened to the signature red stripe? I'm not a fan of the all black pinstripes. I guess I"ll wear these til they're dead (which won't be long, less than a month and the rubber is already cracked), but I doubt I'll be buying them again. Too bad. They used to be such an affordable quality shoe.

They're the kind of shoes you gotta wear and tear to get a good fit. What I really want to comment on is how FAST Zappos shipped my shoes! Like actually. I ordered, they came.

I bought these for my 15 year old granddaughter who requested them for her birthday. Evidently "all" the kids are wearing them now. Last year it was the slip ons. She's very happy with them. I personally have no opinion, because I get my grandkids pretty much what they want for their birthdays!

Super cute and very comfortable! If you are between 2 sizes, order smaller size. I wear 8.5 or 9, the 8.5 fit perfectly. I also added a small Dr. Scholls arch support.

The shipping was quick and in great condition. Converse are never that comfortable but I bought an insert and they are great now. Also wish they made them in half sizes!

My husband looks freaking adorable in these shoes. They are a great fit and awesome price! Get you some converse.

I compared them to my older Chucks (maybe 3-4 years old), and they fit very different. The new ones are longer and shaped slightly more oblong in the toe as well. I'll be keeping them, but why mess with a classic!?

Love the classic style and the flat sole of these. However, in the size that fits my length, there is a seam inside that rubs against my toe uncomfortably. It will probably lessen as the shoes break in but it's less than completely comfy.

This Converse Chuck Taylor All Star Ox feels great. My daughter absolutely loved it and has put it on from the moment she opened the box up to the moment it was time to go to bed. She really adores it very much. great shoe and fit.

What can I say, Chucks are a classic. I've had many pairs over the years, mostly black or blue color. The charcoal color is a nice fresh look. Zappos sizing recommendation (buy 1/2 size smaller than usual size) was spot on.

Please do not consider my rating of the shoe as they are just what they are suppose to be. For me I have a great pink linen sport coat and these sneakers are perfect for my needs. Zappos only gets 5 star reviews from me because there isn't a 10 available. :)

We love the shoes! The wrong size shipped at first--the box was matched with the wrong pair. Now corrected, they have become my daughter's favorite shoes worn daily!

I love these shoes. They're straight forward, nothing fancy, just some sweet canvas kicks. I have wide feet which creates a slight issue, but not enough to make me stop wearing them. Very comfortable. They do run big, but zappos recommends sizing down. I can't remember if it's a half or a whole size, but it's somewhere obvious.

While these shoes are nice looking and comfortable enough with arches, they started falling apart within two weeks. I have owned them for about a month now, and the rubber is separated from the canvas and the eyes for the shoelaces are starting to fall out. Zappos has been extremely helpful about this, however--they issued me a refund but let me keep the shoes.

These shoes have come full circle from when I was a kid to become stylish again. Pretty basic shoe. I have thin feet so I have to tie mine tight. They ran a little big so I had to reorder a half size smaller. I may have been able to order a full size smaller. For an inexpensive basic canvas shoe I got what I paid for and am satisfied.

What can I say? These shoes are a classic. They were around when I was a child and they are still going strong 40+ years later. That should say something. My daughter loves them and rocks them to school all day/everyday. Skirt, shorts, leggings..it doesn't matter. They look super cute with anything.

Classic shoe. Runs narrow and I have a wide foot but they are not really bothersome. Lasts forever structurally but the white is hard to keep clean.

These are your basic Chucks. From when we were little. Same lack of arch support. But still that cool, hip feel when you have them on. Takes me back to the '80's every time I put them on! While I put "true to size," they are a bit big in the toebox. But a 6 1/2 is too tight.

What can I say, don't mess with a classic. By far one of the best shoes I've ever owned, will definitely be re ordering a new pair when these wear out which looks like it will still be awhile (worn every day for 5 months they still look like they could take at the very least another 5)!
