A lot of people seem to be wearing these for a retro look, but I'm an old guy who's worn them since the 60s. They are comfortable and inexpensive compared with the likes of Nike. I had to go up half a size because the correct length made my feet go numb. They were too narrow for my fat feet. Pounding the pavement eventually flattens the padding, but by then you'll need a new pair. Only reason I don't rate them 5 for comfort is that I also have Clark's Wallabys, which are my standard for the most comfortable shoes I've ever owned.

Converse Chucks - always cute, always reliable. If you like these sneakers, then there is not much else to review - you are either a fan or not!

I was very pleased with the quick shipping and the shoes! However, on the website it says they run half a size bigger but for me it was a whole size so keep that in mind! Besides that, everything was as it says it was and much cheaper than I have seen other places. I will be buying more shoes from here!

Great basic sneaker! I typically wear size 6.5 but ordered a size 6 and they fit perfectly. I also recommend the "Cut-for-Chucks" socks in a color that matches your shoes.

I ordered this on a Wednesday and got them the very next day! Amazing shipping for VIP! I have always ordered a majority of my shoes from Zappos and have never been disappointed. I have already worn these shoes almost everyday since getting them! They go with everything. I worn them with a romper, a dress, a t-shirt and running shorts. They are really comfortable and I highly suggest getting the no shoes socks (you can find some anywhere). I am typically a size 7 and I didn't follow the suggest to size down. They are looser but I wanted them to be looser so I can slip them on easily. But if you want a perfect fit, do follow the half size down. They do need a little breaking in, the top of the heel keeps rubbing against my achilles tendon and I have to wear bandaids for now! Other than breaking them in, I am in love with my Chucks and Zappos service!

These shoes are great for the price. Classic style and super comfortable. I had initially ordered a size 12 (which is what I usually wear in shoes) but had to get a size 11.5 because they run a bit big.

My 14 year old loves these, and is on his second pair. He usually wears 11.5, and these definitely had some growing room. Probably could have ordered down a full size, but, then I'm sure he'd outgrow them in 4 months.

I love these Converse and have bought many pairs of them in different colors. I wear SuperFeet insoles with them, which provides extra arch support. My only complaint about these shoes is that they wear out too quickly - within a few months, there are holes in the soles, and the bottoms of the heels are all worn down.

I ordered white and sized down as instructed, yet these still were too big. I am a size 10, yet a size 9 would have fit better than size 9½, however, I chose this style in White and also Converse Dainty Ox, between the two styles, Converse Dainty Ox fits so much better and seems padded in the footbed. This shoe has no padding and made my feet look huge! This shoe is not for me, I prefer Converse Dainty Ox, I also like the 5 ring lace up on the Dainty Ox not this 6 or 7 ring, it did not help my foot length at all and the lack of padding on soles of feet was a major turn off.

A bit too bulky and ran a size bigger. Perhaps better fit for men vs. women. Was not pleased and exchanged for another style.

Several reviews state that you need to size up on these shoes. We found they were true to size to maybe just a half size up. Daughter usually wears a 6, but 6.5 was perfect. Super cute and trendy for my tween.

Zappos is the best place to buy shoes! Shipping is fast, prices are fair, and if needed the return process is very easy. My daughter wears a 7 women's in regular shoes. We get her a men's 7/women's 5 in Chucks. They tend to fit a little more narrow than other tennis shoes. They are great though! This is probably our 10th pair!

I have always wanted a pair of Converse that weren't too expensive. I'm glad I found these; however, they don't have the best arch support. These would be perfect for a day out or school even, but definitely not for hiking or doing things to extreme (obviously). At first when I looked at these shoes and reviews lots of people said that the size runs big but I ordered my size and it fit perfectly. Overall a really great shoe!

I love these shoes! They look great with black ankle cut leggings! I went down a full shoe size and they fit perfectly!

I love Converse, but the color on the white was way off. It was almost a soft yellow. I'm returning them immediately. They don't look anything like the white converse in the picture.

I love Chucks - I wear them almost every day - I do get them 1/2 size bigger and then add a super feet blue insole to add arch support and cushioning. But for a little bit of funky casual style - they can't be beaten.

What can I say? They're Chucks. Been around longer than any of us have! Like it says, go a half-size small and they'll fit great. Classy look, comfortable, and durable. I hadn't even realized that Nike acquired them a while back or I probably wouldn't have bought them but that's a personal beef (the whole Michael Vick thing) and I can't knock the shoes for those.
