I buy the Chuck Taylor All Star for my 13 year old granddaughter and she loves them. She says they are comfortable and are her "go to" shoe. They seem to run true to size as far as length. She doesn't have a wide foot so I cannot speak to the width of the shoe. I can say though, they are durable and have a long "shoe life."

I grew up wearing these. Back when they cost about $7 a pair in the 60s. My latest pair are from the late 70s when still made them in the USA and owned by Converse. It was a time when made in America actually meant something. Not like now as NIKE owns Converse and sent all factories over seas to China and makes each shoe for about $2.00 and sends them back to America and sells for 50-$85! Wake up people. I will keep my late 70s pair and won't buy them from China sweat shops unless they cost sweat shop money. Not only that NIKE now makes about 100 different styles of this shoe. It was a classic shoe until NIKE got a hold of it.

Fabulous. Exactly what I wanted. The only thing is that I fortunately ordered a smaller size than the one recommended. It fits perfectly, but it wouldn't have if I'd ordered my actual street shoe size. I also have had to inserts.

Love these classics! Perfect color charcoal matches everything. I wear a womens 10-10.5 and the mens 8 fit perfect. They are a tad narrow but if you loosen the laces its not an issue.

Great Zappos service, great shoe surprisingly a bit too big - I cannot find the link for making an exchange so I will have to return and reorder a smaller size.

Excellent shoes. Perfect. You can't go wrong with Converse. That being said, order half a size smaller than what you normally wear. They run a little big.

Sooooooo cute! Aboslutly love these shoes! Cutest if you wear them with cropped leggings, skinny jeans rolled up a little, or black jeans rolled up a little! Only thing about high tops is they are hard to get on. Other than that these are a must have... EVERY GIRL MUST HAVE A PAIR OF WHITE HIGH TOPS!!! (also run a little big! be aware order a size smaller. I am a size 10 women's and I ordered a 9 and they fit perfect!)

My daughter loves these. Difficult sizing, thankful for free shipping both ways! I ordered 6½, she normally needs a 7 at least and these worked for her on first go around! They look cute with twirl skirts, shorts, pretty much everything. Her school requires closed toe, rubber soles so this is a great option for those cuter outfits!

I really love these shoes! I'd been looking everywhere for a pair and could not find them in my size. They are perfect! I wear them all the time! They showed up in about 4 days. Would definitely recommend to a friend. In fact, I already did!

These are great classic shoes. They are kind of flat, but not terribly uncomfortable. By the end of the day my feet swell and I had to loosen the laces, but nothing extreme. For shoes that have been around for decades though, you cannot go wrong!

Got these in black and love them. I have wanted a pair all my life but never even tried them on because I assumed they would be too narrow for my feet. I have a plethora of foot issues; therefore, I don't think this could be my all day everyday shoe. Having said that, I am so glad I decided to make the purchase.I've worn them with everything from jeans to maxi skirts / dresses. I should not have waited 41 years to give them a try.

These shoes are a timeless classic. I have many pairs of shoes and these high tops will always be my favorite!

My daughter was so excited to get her Converse in one day! They look great and fit perfect. Only negative is that someone liked them better than her and stole them. Only got to wear them twice. Going to order another pair.

The shoes are true to size, but a little snug. As long as I don't wear thick socks, I'm fine. The ankle part is a little tight and I have to loosen up the laces a lot to put them on, but they fit fine. The shoes are very cute and I'm very happy with my purchase. Looks very cute with my skinny jeans!

My daughter, who is 13 years old, wanted these sneakers. They are all the rage at her school. She tells me they are comfortable and she loves them. All the girls wear these sneakers with skirts, some have leggings, others wear socks. It is the style! I cannot really say if they run small or large. I purchased these sneakers and Danskos from Zappos. The Converse was too big and the Danskos too small for my daughter. So for purposes of this review I am going to mark these as runs a full size larger. I reordered a size down in these and a size up in the Danskos. Zappos is fantastic on returns and next day delivery. I love the ease of this website. The whole operation is A Plus.

This is my first purchase here at Zappos.com. My friend recommended Zappos to me. Everything looks good - attentive customer support, wholly satisfactory delivery time. Shoes are nice, comfortable and looks vegan-friendly, but seams a little bit larger in size. Any way I love them!

These economical classic All Star shoes are pretty good for sensitve feet. The insole is soft with a flatter type arch that does cant out so you do not get excessive arch pressure. Also, the top canvas and tongue are very conforming and comfortable.Laces do not cut at all. Most shoes cut off my circulation and make the foot very un-comfy. My low volume foot is well held with the canvas top and seems like there is nothing on above the sole. Many shoes will be sloppy loose due to all the fat foot people, and not conforming. I'm impressed for such an old design, they still have things a lot of shoes wish they had. They also are great ocean shoes - I use them for wading in the surf and on the slippery rocks fishing warmer water. Good foot protection from below and to side, plus sand infiltration is minimal. They also drain out the holes quickly.They make a cool shoe for hotter, tropical destinations. Well engineered I'd say. 5 stars for the ALL STARS.

These are my all time favorite shoes. So comfortable. Holds up great, but get easily dirty. I love these shoes. These are stylish, comfortable, and look great with anything!

I bought the Converse sneaker because my granddaughter was wearing hers during Christmas vacation. I wore the Chuck Taylor's in high school and college. It fits good and looks. The free shipping and speed of delivery from Zappos was excellent.
