Wow these are terrible! The only thing they have going for them is style. I'm in my 20's and wear comfortable shoes. Back in elementary I wore whatever cheap shoes my parents got me. So back then it was fine but there is no way I would wear these awfully made shoes now.

I, like many folks have work converse for what seems like most of my life. I am sad to say that they have made yet another step back in their quality. I remember when they used to be proudly "Made in the USA". Then the company was sold and they were made in China, and this time where was a "Made in Indonesia" sticker in the shoe. With this newest switch, they are decidedly cheaper looking and feeling. The pair I received were so obviously defective (the laces holes did not line up on one shoe) that I do not know how they could have passed any sort of quality control inspection. They were also not grey, but more of an army green. I returned them and do not plan to order another pair any time soon. I guess I will have to try to find a new go-to shoe brand.

Second pair of Converse I have purchased for my grandson since late summer. First pair fell apart quickly. Thought it was a fluke, but it wasn't. Current pair is three weeks old and inner sole is coming apart. These expensive shoes are just not made well.

Zappos has non-existent customer service - i got the shoes, they look great. the rivet on one of the lace holes broke within 2 days, obviously defective. I've contacted zappos TWICE with no reply. I'm now working with my credit card company to dispute the charge. For a company that brags about their customer service, they have no clue.

How do people wear these things? I bought the size my daughter usually wears and they were huge. So I ordered a size smaller (they came the next day, Zappos is amazing) and they seemed to fit, so she drew beautiful designs on them. Now every time she wears them, she gets enormous, horrible blisters on her heels. And they make her feet look so long (no other shoe does that). They are uncomfortable and unflattering, so painful I don't imagine she'll ever tolerate them long enough to get them broken in-and we can't return them due to the beautiful designs. I don't get it, so many people wear these.

I would rather hammer nails through my toes. When I put these shoes on, blood started spurting out of my eyes. Then, while walking, I could bone chips cracking off with every step. But the shoes look really good, so I still wear them.

JUNK! One word for these: JUNK! For aesthetes who want to get arthirtis in no time flat! Who cares if there's a zillion "famous" musicians sporting these. They're still crap from eighty, or more, years ago. Not only that, they're plain nerdy lookin. IN SHORT, THESE ARE FOR PEOPLE WHO CAN'T ROCK AND NEED A REAL JOB!!! These only looked good on one person, and that was K.C.

these must be the best shoes known to man. If you need to buy newshoes and like retro styles you should get the converse chuck taylor hi tops i got the red ones like like 2months ago and i lov'em so far u will too.By the way there $30 apair.Good luck!
