This is my first pair of Chucks (ever!). They aren't uncomfortable but aren't comfortable in any special way, either. They took a little getting used to compared to what I usually wear (which for sneakers tends to have more structure than the mere canvas of these). The styling, though, is a classic as it gets, and for me that's to the extreme when they are pink.

I first wore 'Chuck Taylor' converse back in the '60s, they were $7.99 and I loved the black high-tops. I currently have a Red pair, a Kelly Green pair and one pair of all black high-tops. I need another pair of the 'Chuck Taylor' black high-tops and the Red also, their falling apart, but so comfortable.

I love these shoes as a canvas for digital art, to help raise funds for Rescues and Shelters. A boatload of hand work but these shoes are the perfect backdrop! Zappos, as always, has provided excellent delivery and Customer Service & Support.

This is a stylish throwback classic, however, I wouldn't depend on them for 8 hours per day of wear. They are simply not as comfortable as today's athletic footwear. Great for short-term wear.

My daughter loves these shoes. Since it's a unisex shoe, it runs wide which accommodates her wide feet well. Minimal arch support. A bit pricey.

My 15 year old daughter loves this style. It is about the look more than anything. Comfy for running around a little bit, but not too long. Would be so great if they had more cushioning in inside of the shoe and some arch support!

Surprisingly comfortable with my flat feet (as long as I am not standing or walking around too much). Style is classic. Pretty happy with purchase.

Super cute retro color combo, can't beat the look. It ran much bigger than the low tops I bought in the same size. I would have returned them and sized down but I slipped a pair of Dr Scholls inserts in there since there was so much extra room. Good move - now I have arch support where there was none before. I'd recommend doing just that to anyone who loves Chuck's but needs more support.

I am from Germany and stayed with friends in the US, who recommended 'Zappos' to buy Converse Sneakers. I tried and was absolutely satisfied. Delivery time 5 days - both pairs I ordered, fit. Unfortunately I can't buy at 'Zappos' in Germany.

These Hi-tops remind me of being a child in the 80s. My husband and I got matching pairs. They are wonderful - besides being comfortable, they support your ankles and feet well.

These shoes are a full size big - I'm normally a 9 and ordered an 8! They do take some breaking in. I blister easily on my heels and got some pretty nasty ones the first few times I wore them. But once they start to soften up, they're very comfortable! Super stylish and easy to wear with just about anything.

I got a pair of pink men's size 8 Chuck Taylor Hi-Tops on a dare eight years ago. They were the only pair of shoes I took with me the last two times I was homeless. "Civilian Gary" and I had a big discussion at the Balsam Lake homeless shelter four years ago about how Chuck Taylors are by far THE most comfortable shoes, hands down. I got a pair in brown since then, but now I'm going to get the classic black and white. I prefer the Hi-Top version, because it's so kind to my Achilles' heel.

I love these shoes. I originally ordered a half size smaller than I normally order based on the reviews. I ended up returning those and getting them in my regular size and they fit fine.

Way too big. It says women's size is a true fit but it is not. I say go down at least 1 size especially if your feet are narrow.

My son loves these and it's his second pair. They wear well and do not fall apart. He grew out of the old ones but they still looked fine. They are not sturdy shoes for walking or hiking long distances, however, and he got a couple if blisters when we spent an afternoon walking around a city on vacation. But for general casual wear they are great and they look cool.

Great shoes for the gym. I like the flat-footedness of them, and they're stylish enough that I wear them out and about too. The gray is toned-down enough to work in more casual settings. Only thing I don't like is how long the laces are. If you don't tie them up to the top holes, you'll be stepping on them.

I always have multiple pairs of Converse All Stars on hand in both Hi and Lo top. Being nice and flat they keep you in touch with the ground. They also keep a good grip on all surfaces. That is always a safe choice. They go nicely with Levis 501's. And they are not made out of animals.

I bought these for my son as a replacement pair. He's worn Chuck Taylor's for years now. They do run 1/2 size larger. Good quality and Zappos always delivers quickly. Never had a problem.

Chucks are still way cool, but they don't make 'em like they used to in '82. Somehow it seems that they managed to make the canvas thinner/less substantial. Same for the rubber soles. My first pair lasted through a couple of years of near daily use before they fell apart. I get the feeling that the 2014 Chucks do not have the same durability. Time will tell.

This is a great shoe, I got a lot of compliments on them (though I don't know why, my Converses look no different than anyone else's). Look awesome with black pants, and I can wear them for P.E. They do hurt a lot as you break them in, and the color fades, which is probably my biggest complaint. My other biggest complaint is that there is extra on the outside, which makes your foot look funny. All in all though, this is a good shoe, and I would recommend it to you. I meant to give the style three stars, sorry, it isn't working.

Truly classic footwear! Really thin breathable show. Sole can feel minimalist for flat footed people. Other than that, great shoe that I'll buy again and again.

A casual, trendy shoe that doesn't go out of style. I find myself wearing these all the time. My feet are a little narrow and they fit well. They did get a little dirty on the toes quickly, but it makes the shoe almost look better in a way. I'll definitely continue to buy this shoe in the future.
