I am a chef and I stand in one spot on concrete for most of the day. I have purchased these before and they lasted for years. When I recently got a new job as a cook, after a week of standing in my reagular shoes, I decided to invest in a new pair of Birkenstocks! My lower back pain instantly went away. Totally worth the investment!

I've been very pleased with these clogs as they turned out to be an excellent every day shoe for me. The only cons have been that sometimes my feet get a little sweaty in them and there is no removable/washable liner as the description states. My set came with one black removable footbed...definitely not washable. Once you take that out, however, you can stick the whole shoe in the sink or dishwasher. This clog is a 100 times better than the Croc!

Returning these, my groomed toenails even with socks kept snagging on a seam lip on the inside.

Love these shoes! Although I wear a 39 in all other Birkenstock styles, I had to return this for a 40. As always, Zappos exceeded expectations... I had my new size within 24 hours. I have plantar fasciitis and these shoes really help although they are a bit hard.

Since born with cerebral palsy (one foot is 2 sizes smaller than the other) I can no longer purchase sandals in one size and walk and not fall. Purchased these shoes years ago (2 pairs-2 different sizes). Did so again and these shoes fit and make it easier to stand or walk for a longer period of time. Purchasing 2 pair hurts the wallet for a time but worth it. I like if need be can just slip shoes off for a few. A good fit and shoe that will last years.

I was pretty excited about getting a pair of shoes I could slide into when going out to walk the dogs etc. I have fallen arches and wear Birkenstock sandals during the summer....but the Birki was terrible. It is humungous. Your foot slides forward and smashes the toes but is so wide that you need to wear thick socks and that is worse on the toes. I am pretty bummed because you would need the widest feet to wear these comfortably. Back they go. Thanks Zappos for your awesome return policy.

I needed these shoes for work. I work in a kitchen, 8 hour day. They felt stiff inside at first and toes kind of hurt. I have to wear them with a rather thick sock for more comfort. I feel as I wear them more, I am breaking them in. They are awesome as far as non slip shoes on wet floors that are constantly being mopped. I love the fact that they can be wiped down if I get food splatters on them and can wear in rain or snow without being ruined. I have only worn them for 3 days now so I am hoping for the toe hurt to go away. I think they are going to work out. It was awesome to get free shipping from zappos.com. It is my first purchase from this site.

Excellent clogs! I have worn them out walking and for regular daily use and they are great in either case, showing no signs of wear or discomfort. I ordered the blue pair and they did not come with the removable (and washable) birki bear liner as shown in the picture. I find that these clogs feel better with socks whereas the traditional Boston clogs feel great either way.

Great shoes for work (in the hospital) Durable and indestructible. Easy to clean. Protects socks (and feet) from getting soaked in blood, etc. Comfortable for long hours of standing. Great arch support. Stable, with good traction- unlike clogs with higher heels like Dansko. Fit is reliable. Meant to be worn with a loose fit like all Birkenstocks. Perfect shoes for medical work!

I bought mine on a different website and have been wearing them for two days straight. I am a nurse and have been looking for plantar fasciitis releif hope these help. no pain so far

I wear a size 12 women's shoe so it's hard to find a comfortable shoe for work that fits. As a nurse working 12 hour shifts I need something to get my bad feet through the night! I ordered several pairs in 2 different sizes and styles hoping one would work, but with all, my toes would rub and catch on the inside of the shoes. Disappointing since I've heard good things about comfort and durability of the Birkenstock brand.

Awesome shoes... I'm a nurse and these are the only shoes that I can stand in one place doing procedures and my feet or back doesn't hurt!

I work in a restaurant 60 hours/week, and am on my feet non-stop on concrete floors. I've tried other kitchen shoes. Some were terrible (SFC), some are pretty good (Keen), but the Super Birki's are the best I've worn. My feel used to ache horribly, but the Birki's stopped that. This being my 2nd pair, I will say I was a little disappointed by the longevity of my first pair. I wore a hole through the footbed in 8 months. I really put my shoes through ringer, but still I was hoping for a little longer. Still, I have to have my Birk's, so I ordered another pair anyway (replacement footbed is an option, but I had a hard time finding them on Zappos or Amazon). Also, Super Birki's are fantastic, but still not quite as comfortable as my Boston's. I haven't gone there yet, but I have considered just wearing the Boston's for work and accepting that they'll be trashed every few months from all the water/spills. Anyway, just some things to consider, but the Super Birki's are a fantastic kitchen shoe and, at this point, I wouldn't even consider anything else (outside of another Birkentstock product).

I WAS SO PLEASED TO LEARN I COULD SHOP AT ZAPPO'S OVER THE PHONE. I DON'T SHOP ON LINE, SO CALLED CUSTOMER SERVICE AND ORDERED MY NEW BIRKIES AND A PAIR OF SLIPPERS. YAY FOR ZAPPOS! WALKING AROUND IN THOSE SLIPPERS THIS MOMENT AND I'M SO PLEASED. THX ZAPPO!

These Birkis run large! I'm an 8.5-9. It took 3 tries to get the right size. Most reviews stated "runs small" size 38 is perfect. And yes, the plantar fasciitis is non existent while wearing these. I'm a nurse. On my feet about 12 hours a day.

More comfortable than I was expecting- I wore them for 12 hour shifts on my feet and a lot of walking up and down long hallway with minimal break in time. Seem best for standing long periods than for fast walking, but overall would recommend for nurses, chefs etc.

I bought this clog to bring my dogs out in the early morning when the grass is wet, but sadly they are huge on me. I take a 5.5/6 but I could not even walk in these. They seem to run very big.

I really want to like these clogs. They are sturdy and durable. I love the cork footbed because of the arch support. Walking is the difficulty. I fell the first time that I walked down stairs. It is hard to keep them on and you have to change the way you walk to adapt, which cannot be good. I am a chef who stands around all day so I am going to keep them because I stand in the same place often. If they had support in the back of the foot, I would rate them five stars. It is a shame that you have to spend much more to get a strap or backing, in the other models. I may end up sticking with my silly Crocs though.

I normally wear a 7.5 and ordered the 38. It was about a half size too large. Exchanging for at 37 which I am hoping is a better fit.

I purchased a pair of SuperBirki clogs for work, I'm a R.N. I found them to be so incredibly comfortable that I purchased another pair for every day use. I would not replace them with anything I once used, ie sneakers/top-siders, for casual wear. I know they look clunky & people probably mistake them for Crocs but my feet always say "thank you." Money very well spent. Oh yea, these things wear like iron while feeling like cotton.

I love this Birki. Owned a Beauty Shop for 32 years & I wore this shoe daily. Fit me to a T. Still wear it daily around the house. The arch is perfect for me. I take the insole out to clean them & can clean the insole with a brush & they dry quickly. I even have several insoles to interchange. Love this Birki!

Best, most durable light duty gardening shoes ever! Easily slipped on & off for running in & out of the house. A lot of dirt will get into them with serious digging, but otherwise indispensable!
