These fit really big! I had Birks years ago, but maybe I forgot how big they are? Even with a thick sock these were falling off my feet. I remembered better arch support as well. I will keep looking for another shoe that feels as good as my Danskos do...

Nurse here of several years. I have four or five different work shoes and throughout the course of a month I alternate which ones I wear (sort of like muscle confusion helps in the gym). In the distant past I tried Dansko clogs but didn't like them one bit (too rigid like real wood clogs). I do however, wear and think Dansko Wil's are pretty darn comfortable. As well, several years ago, I started using Keens of all styles for work/play and love them. One of the Keen shoes I wear at work are the PTC Slip-Ons. On rare occasions I'll wear Crocs. For various reasons I like to wear at work, non-laced slip-ons and clog style shoes. I've never tried our Birkenstocks before and a few of my work shoes are in need of changing out. The cork footbed is their claim to fame and thought I'd give these Super-Birkis a try. Leather has it's maintenance issues especially in the healthcare field and the plastic based upper sounded like a good idea. So..... despite being a plastic shoe these things weigh quite a bit, are pretty rigid, and they fit very loosely across the top of my foot. Meaning that my foot had a lot of room to move fore & aft which therefore meant my toes kept jamming up against the front of the shoe. There is no way to adjust the fit over the top of your foot to prevent this. I guess one could wear super bulky socks, but I don't want to buy new shoes that also require me to have to hunt for new socks too. Besides, at work I wear compression socks which are much thinner than athletic socks. And about their weight, if I was just standing around all day that may not be an issue, but adding in their poor fitment means they were constantly flopping around and my feet were slipping all over the place inside the shoe uncomfortably while I was walking around my house for a few hours. I couldn't imagine running to a code with them. And about that rigidity, the heal cup edges aren't forgiving in the slightest while your foot is moving all over the place. When you step down that rigid plastic around the heal and also in the toe box is sure to cause some severely uncomfortable sores from all the rubbing and scraping. I'm returning them right now.

Very nice shoes! Felt a bit snug so I exchanged for a size up. Other than that the quality is amazing and they look great!

These shoes are great for walking my dog when the grass is wet. I love the foot bed support as it is very similar to other Birkenstock models. My only concern is there seems to be a little tight on middle toe length.

My grandfather, who waddled around a lot like Danny Devito as the Penguin, work birkenstock shoes back in the day when you had to go to Germany to get them. I felt too short legged and stumpy and frumpy and well, grandfatherly in these to wear them (I'm a woman). Perhaps as slip on shoes by the door in a place where you need those (I live in CA and use flip flops for that).

The toe area of the shoe fit well but the heel was too narrow

I love Birkenstocks. However, this item was much too heavy to wear and keep on my feet.

Great shoes for work at the hospital. They take a little getting used to but then they are wonderful!

As a nurse I buy shoes for comfort and longevity. I bought a second pair for gardening and camping. They initially feel hard and uncomfortable. I continued to wear them around the house and found they conform to your feet and are sooo comfortable. I love these shoes.

I don't love these clogs like I thought I would. I've worn Birkenstock sandals for years and love them. I have high arches, so I need the support. These garden clogs do provide arch support, but the plastic material makes your feet sweat so they are not suitable for wearing without socks. Also, they don't come in a narrow width (recommended by Birkenstock for most women), so they feel pretty wide. I'm keeping them to wear in the garden, but I don't love them like I do my Birkenstock sandals.

This is my second pair of Birkis. I'd worn out my first pair. I wear them with heavy ragg socks for walking our dogs. They are super in wet weather, as long as really deep puddles are avoided, and even in shallow snow. My feet wouldn't tolerate them without socks, but my husband wears his without sometimes in summer and is fine. We both love them. My new blue ones feel a bit classier than my old green ones, I'll admit. Different vendors seem to offer different colors, which is just weird. But I digress. These are great knock-about clogs, easy to get into and out of. I can't imagine life without them.

It didn't have the support that I was looking!

These clogs run VERY VERY large. My husband normally wears a size 43 in a European shoe. In this clog, he wears a 41. Don't believe the sizing--size down.

This will be my 3rd pair of these. I work in kitchens, so I'm on my feet a lot and sometimes experience wet and slippery floors. They are great at being non-slip. They are very comfortable even after 14hrs on my feet. They are easy to clean, just take out the insole and wash the shoe. to top it off, they last me about 3 years of heavy wear. Worth every penny.

Hmmm, like another reviewer I have squared-off toes, and flat feet into the bargain. I was a little apprehensive at first because Birkenstock shoe tend to have high arch support. But these shoes were comfortable immediately, my feet indicated a good fit after several hours of walking, and I expect them to stay that way. Every foot is different, but these work for me.

I bought these to replace my 25 year old Birkenstock garden clogs which had finally started to crack. These are wonderful garden shoes! I keep them by the back door so I can slip out of my regular shoes and into my Birki "garden shoes". They are comfortable. The outside is hard enough to protect my feet if I drop pruned branches. They provide great support. I can wear them into a rain wet back yard to put out bird feed or make a trip to the compost pile and I am totally dry when I return. I even washed them off and wore them with black slacks to an evening affair where I knew I would be standing a long time.

Decided to try these clogs to replace a pair of the old style CrocsRX which are no longer made. I really like those Crocs and have not found any since that I like. The intent for purchasing these shoes is just to have something to wear when I am in the house - just general use such doing housework, etc. The first pair of Birkis I received were in my normal shoe size 9-9.5 but they were way too large because these clogs are really wide. I normally wear a medium width. When I lifted my foot they fell off. I returned them and got the next size down. They still felt pretty wide. Tried wearing them with a variety of socks of different thickness but they still seemed a bit wide. Wound up adding a set of thin gel inserts and that improved the fit and comfort. After about a week of wearing them they seem a bit more broken in but definitely feel more stiff and less comfortable than my Crocs. The support is much better than with Crocs but I am still not certain that I will wind up loving these shoes perhaps once they are really broken in I will like them more. Right now not so sure.

Got these to try to replace some 'danish clogs', because the kitchen was wearing the leather out too fast. Had to buy new clogs after about a year.. So I read a ton of reviews, and decided on these because they seemed more supportive than the crocs. These shoes suck. They are terrible in every way a shoe can be bad. They look bad. The sides dig in to your ankle, making blisters. The shoes caused a heel bruise that never completely went away. The soles are slippery in the kitchen. Don't waste your time. Don't listen to whatever 'everyone else' is saying-- And take care of this in the future. 'Virtual Assistants' (indian hourly workers) will make real accounts and post tons of good reviews, and it's cheaper than you would believe. tl;dr DONT GET THESE SHOES.. BE CAREFUL OF TOO MANY POSITIVE REVIEWS.

I have bought two pair of super burkis because I am so pleased with them. One pair is for outside work and the other for in the house. They do not slip when mowing the lawn on an incline. They hold my foot in a stable position.

These are the best houseshoes I've ever had. I always need something comfortable and durable to wear around the house, but the leather Birkenstocks never lasted long enough for the price. These are fantastic: more durable, same comfort, better price.

As a long time Birkenstock fan, it's great to have a waterproof Birk. They are great for working in the yard or when it is wet and rainy. They are very comfortable, and I wear them often. I highly recommend them.

These are great shoes, use for gardening/yard work, and it keeps our feet dry.

I liked this shoe but I decided on the Pro Birki which is basically the same except that the pro Birki has a higher back. I like the higher back because with clogs sometimes my foot will slid out of them and the higher back keeps them on securely. They are built very strong and will protect your feet..like steel toes but not any steel in them.
